The Emergent Spacetime program (Informational Geometry of Emergent Spacetime – IGES) has shown that the linearized Information Open-systems Flow (IOF) on the Bures manifold of density operators projects to a symmetric hyperbolic hydrodynamic system whose characteristic cone is exactly Lorentzian. This established that spacetime causal structure can emerge from quantum information degradation, but only in the tangent-space approximation. In this work, we address the principal remaining gap: we provide strong numerical evidence for a Nonlinear Emergent Causal Structure Scenario, supporting the conclusion that an effective hyperbolic causal cone acts as a dynamically stable attractor of the full, nonlinear IOF dynamics. We implement a complete numerical simulation of two coupled qubits with dephasing on a 1D lattice, evolving the exact IOF on the 15-dimensional Bures manifold. At each time step we extract the Bures Hessian of the information degradation functional, construct the dynamic spectral gap ∆(t), compute the nonlinear Schur complement Keff(t), and measure the instantaneous cone deviation δ(t) ≡ supk |ω 2 (t, k) − c 2 s(t)k 2 |. We find that: (1) the fast/slow mode separation persists globally; (2) the spectral gap remains strictly positive, ∆(t) ≥ ∆0 > 0; (3) the effective reduced generator Keff(t) remains symmetric in the Bures metric to machine precision; (4) the cone deviation δ(t) decays as e −∆t , falling below 10−4 after a few gap times. These results provide significant evidence that the emergent hyperbolic causal structure is not a linear artifact – the effective causal cone is a robust attractor of the full gradient flow. This nonlinear stability suggests compatibility with Jacobson-type thermodynamic gravity scenarios. The complete simulation code and diagnostic data are provided as supplemental material.

This paper introduces a novel framework for analog gravity in which an effective (2+1)-dimensional Lorentzian spacetime emerges dynamically on the information geometry of a driven open quantum system. Unlike traditional fluid-based analogs, the spatial fabric is provided by the Quantum Fisher Information Metric (QFIM) over a control-parameter manifold, while laboratory time serves as the temporal axis. Using Keldysh nonequilibrium field theory, the study demonstrates that the Lorentzian signature and thus the existence of causal light cones-originates fundamentally from the thermodynamic passivity of the quantum state. This profound connection makes the causal structure a tunable, falsifiable property: driving the system into population inversion triggers a signature-breakdown transition that destroys the hyperbolicity of the emergent spacetime. Supported by exact derivations for a two-qubit model and concrete experimental protocols involving continuous homodyne detection and FPGA-based feedback, the research offers a fully measurable laboratory platform to explore the intersection of quantum information geometry, nonequilibrium thermodynamics, and emergent causal structure. We formulate a geometric extension of open quantum dynamics in which the density matrix evolves as a Riemannian gradient flow on the Bures manifold. The evolution equation \frac{d\rho}{dt} = -i[H,\rho] - \lambda \nabla_B \Phi[\rho] drives the state toward regions of minimal information degradation, defined by the functional \Phi[\rho], the instantaneous rate of relative-entropy change under the bare Lindbladian. This deterministic flow preserves trace and positivity, and introduces a single new universal constant \lambda>0 while recovering standard Lindblad dynamics as \lambda\to0. Under a Unitary Orthogonality Condition – exactly satisfied for pure dephasing and approximately in many-body localized phases – \Phi becomes a Lyapunov functional, and its critical points (decoherence-free subspaces) are asymptotically stable attractors. Applied to disordered spin chains, the framework reproduces the known entropy‑suppression scaling \Phi \lesssim \gamma N (J/W)^2. The theory offers a falsifiable, information‑geometric principle where quantum states intrinsically minimise their own information loss. This work investigates the emergence of state-dependent dissipative structures in open quantum systems and develops a geometric framework for constructing physically admissible non-linear extensions of Markovian quantum dynamics. Building upon the coarse-grained completely positive generators developed in previous work, we consider the effects of finite and dynamically polarizable environments, leading naturally to state-dependent Kossakowski structures and non-linear dissipative flows. To constrain such non-linear dynamics and prevent the appearance of unphysical states, we formulate the evolution as a gradient flow on the manifold of quantum states endowed with the Bures metric. A locality-preserving Extension Consistency Condition is introduced to ensure the admissibility of non-linear lifts to composite systems and to eliminate non-local ancillary back-action. Within this framework, we establish a Boundary Repulsion Theorem showing that the rank-deficient boundary of the positive state manifold is located at an infinite geometric distance along the flow trajectories. As a consequence, positivity of the density operator is preserved for all finite evolution times. A worked example based on a three-level V-system demonstrates the regularizing effect of the Bures geometry in the presence of state-dependent dissipation. The results suggest that information-geometric structures may provide a natural route toward physically consistent non-linear quantum master equations while preserving the operational integrity of quantum state evolution.
Key Takeaways ● ● ● ● ● Completion of Quantum Axiomatics: The long-standing axiomatic gap in quantum mechanics is closed by proving that Information Causality (IC), combined with no-signaling, rigorously mandates kernel positivity (positive semidefiniteness), thereby deriving the unique quantum correlation law (cos(θ)) without requiring ad-hoc Hilbert space assumptions. Geometric Nature of Quantum Limits: The Tsirelson bound (2) is not an absolute information-theoretic limit, but rather a geometric signature of flat Euclidean space. In non-Euclidean hyperbolic spaces (H2), Information Causality permits correlations that significantly exceed the quantum limit (supra-quantum violations). Holographic Reality is Experimentally Accessible: The relationship between geometric curvature and information is physically confirmed by demonstrating the holographic scaling of entanglement entropy (via the Ryu-Takayanagi formula) in macroscopic, tabletop hyperbolic electrical circuit lattices that simulate Anti-de Sitter (AdS) and BTZ black hole spacetimes. Unified Gravity Theory (CETΩ): The Causal-Informational Completion of Gravity (CETΩ) is a strictly 4D framework that replaces classical spacetime substance with a dynamic, emergent network of causal links. The theory elegantly regularizes black hole singularities and guarantees quantum unitarity across all scales via the spectral positivity of its nonlocal retarded kernel. Resolution of Cosmological Problems: The CETΩ framework introduces the "texon" scalar field, which unifies the dark sector (acting as both dark matter and dark energy) and provides a precise, late-time informational modification that alleviates the problematic Hubble tension.
Continuous epistemic inference and non-convex optimization across high-dimensional parameter spaces are fundamentally constrained by high-index saddles, degenerate ridges, and unstable transport bifurcation. Conventional continuous frameworks based on parabolic diffusion or Wasserstein gradient flows implicitly presume an infinite informational propagation speed (c → ∞), violating local Einstein causality and relying on phenomenological patches such as artificial gradient clipping and empirical noise injection. To resolve these foundational pathologies, we introduce the Relativistic Geodesic Madelung-Navier-Stokes (R-GMNS) framework. Formulated on a pseudo-Riemannian product manifold M = ℝ × (𝕊^(D-1) × ℝ_s), the theory couples a complex epistemic order parameter Ψ to a dynamical conformal metric field ϕ through a hyperbolic d'Alembert system, establishing an invariant causal speed limit c. Irreversible dissipation (-Γ u_ν) is derived from first principles via the Euler-Lagrange-Herglotz contact variational principle, ensuring unconditional Lyapunov stability (dH/dt ≤ 0) without breaking variational consistency. Hyperspherical constraints are resolved algebraically via exact relativistic Gauss decomposition, and non-relativistic contraction (c → ∞) analytically recovers classical geodesic hydrodynamics. We establish the "Coherent Flux Theorem", proving that the local on-shell condition V + Q > -(1/2)ξ c² — balancing the exogenous potential V, the curved Bohm quantum potential Q, and the epistemic inertia quantum ξ — is strictly necessary and sufficient to preserve a timelike, future-directed, and subluminal (||v|| < c) probability flux that traverses non-convex barriers without diffractive bifurcation. High-resolution spacetime simulations verify the theory, confirming: (i) strict preservation of subluminal causality (⟨||v||⟩/c < 1), (ii) hyperbolic metric retardation (δτ = 0.28 > 0), precluding instantaneous action-at-a-distance, (iii) monotonic Herglotz energy dissipation, and (iv) unbroken coherent saddle penetration by a localized soliton flux. R-GMNS establishes a mathematically closed generative bedrock for causally bounded inference, dynamical recognition mass tensors, and spacetime-mediated multi-agent intelligence.
This work introduces a geometric framework in which the direction of time is identified with the normalized entropy gradient on quantum state space equipped with the Bures metric. The configuration space Γ = {ρ ∈ B(H) : ρ ≥ 0, Tr(ρ) = 1} is taken as the fundamental arena of physics — not an auxiliary description overlaid on a pre-existing spacetime, but the space from which spacetime structure may emerge. The von Neumann entropy S(ρ) = −Tr(ρ log ρ) defines a smooth scalar field on (Γ, g^B), and the time vector field T(ρ) = ∇S(ρ)/|∇S(ρ)| is its unit gradient. Five geometric consequences follow from this identification: (1) T is irrotational, implying a natural causal ordering; (2) the constant-entropy hypersurfaces Σ_c foliate Γ, suggesting spatial structure as entropy level sets; (3) the metric deformation g̃_μν = g^B_μν − 2T_μT_ν produces Lorentzian signature, with the coefficient −2 uniquely fixed by the requirement that T be unit timelike; (4) S acts as a global time function on (Γ, g̃), establishing stable causality and strongly constraining the formation of closed timelike curves; (5) K_μν = ∇^B_μ T_ν is symmetric and generates the extrinsic curvature of the entropy surfaces. These structures provide the geometric foundation from which gravitational dynamics are developed in the companion paper EFT: Entropic Field Theory. Within this framework the Wheeler–DeWitt equation HΨ = 0 can be interpreted as the condition ∇S_universe = 0: a closed system evolving unitarily preserves all eigenvalues of ρ, and therefore possesses no entropy gradient and no intrinsic time direction. The tension field f(ρ) = |∇S(ρ)| = √(Var_ρ(log ρ)) vanishes at two fixed points: the order pole (pure states on ∂Γ) and the chaos pole (the maximally mixed state). Time therefore disappears at both extremes, while physical processes occur in the interior region where f > 0. EQ(vT) establishes the geometric framework; the companion theory EFT provides the dynamical field equations.
