From Possibility to Actualization: A Minimal Ontological Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics, Special Relativity, and Their Unification The Quantum Reality Framework (QRF)

Ulrich Meixner

We present the Quantum Reality Framework (QRF), a minimal ontological interpretation of quantum mechanics and special relativity constructed from a single primitive concept: structural openness with actualization disposition and tendency (Seinspunkt). From this primitive and three axioms, we formally derive the Born rule (via Gleason 1957), the Lorentz metric (via Malament 1977), the Standard Model gauge group U(1)×SU(2)×SU(3) and its Z6 quotient structure (via Hopf fibration hierarchy and Hurwitz 1898), a fine structure constant candidate 1/(14π²) agreeing to 99.17% with measurement, a fermion mass scheme from G2 Fano topology, and a cosmological constant consistent with observation via the Sorkin mechanism on causal sets. QRF solves the quantum measurement problem without additional postulates: it requires neither a block universe, nor Many Worlds branching, nor a pilot wave, nor instrumentalist agnosticism. Non-locality, interference, entanglement, tunneling, and spin all receive structural derivations within the framework. A master equation iħ·∂_W A = [H_matter + H_gravity, A] unifies quantum mechanics and general relativity with both as limiting cases. This paper serves two explicit goals, both of which we regard as achieved: (1) demonstrating that a coherent fifth interpretation of quantum mechanics exists beyond the four established paradigms; and (2) demonstrating that substantive quasi-academic research is feasible within a sustained human-AI collaboration. Both goals are addressed explicitly in the text.Six falsifiable experimental predictions are formulated. The most urgent is the qubit/qutrit decoherence ratio 3/5 across two distinct qubit architectures. The most novel is a quadratic Lorentz invariance violation δv/v ~ -(E/E_Planck)²/6, testable with the Cherenkov Telescope Array.

The Theory of Potential: Philosophical Ontology of Quantum Actualization (ASCII Scientific Edition)

Jupa, Petr

THE THEORY OF POTENTIAL - Philosophical Ontology of Quantum Actualization ASCII Scientific Edition (English) Author: Petr Jupa Date: 2 December 2025 ABSTRACT This text presents the ontological foundation of the Theory of Potential, a philosophical framework that interprets fundamental reality not as a structure of objects in space and time but as a structure of potential quantum configurations. The quantum state does not represent a description of the existing universe but a description of potential reality, from which a single classical sector is actualized. This transition from possibility to act – actualization – is mathematically formalized by Signature Equation 5.0, as presented in the accompanying technical paper (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17784071). The aim of this study is to build an ontological basis explaining the emergence of space, time, physical laws, dark energy, dark matter, consciousness, and the cosmological plurality of sectors through the principle of minimal realization cost. The Theory of Potential provides a unified framework for understanding quantum reality as a process of actualization in the space of possibilities.

Metaphysics of a relational event: towards a dialectic of overcoming the crisis of quantum ontology

Evgeny Vladimirovich Bolshakov

The aim of the research is to develop a dialectical relational-event ontology (DREO), that is, a second-order metaphysical framework designed to resolve the fundamental problems of the philosophy of quantum physics: wave-particle dualism and the irreducible pluralism of interpretations. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the following: for the first time, not just another interpretation of quantum mechanics is proposed, but a meta-framework that dialectically sublates the pluralism of interpretations itself and demonstrates their systemic unity; the category of a "relational event" is introduced as a fundamental unit of being, which marks a transition from substantial metaphysics (debates on the individuality of objects) to a metaphysics of becoming; wave-particle dualism is interpreted not as ontological (two entities) and not as epistemological (N. Bohr's complementarity principle), but as a dialectical contradiction sublated in the concept of "relational potentiality" – a structure of possibilities actualized depending on the perspective; the complementarity of wave and particle for the first time receives ontological status – it is a mode of existence of quantum reality itself as a "pulsation" between modes of actualization; a new model of scientific rationality is substantiated – dialectical pluralism – where truth is not a property of an individual proposition but a property of the entire system of perspectives taken in their dialectical unity, which fundamentally distinguishes DREO from contextual quantum realism (CQR), which remains within the static opposition of "rule – application" and epistemological perspectivism. The key results of the study are the following ideas: a relational event (rather than an object or a relation in itself) is recognized as the fundamental unit of being – a discrete act of transition from the potential to the actual in a specific context of interaction; "particle" and "wave" are interpreted as two extreme, mutually exclusive and simultaneously complementary types of actualization of a single structure of potencies in different perspectives; the multiplicity of incompatible but empirically equivalent interpretations of quantum mechanics is shown not as a flaw in the theory, but as a logical consequence of the relational structure of reality, which requires a multitude of complementary perspectives for its adequate expression. Thus, the century-old opposition between objectivism and relativism in the philosophy of science is removed.
