Emergence of Matter and Quantum Dynamics from the Universal Constraint

Abstract

This note derives both matter and quantum dynamics from a single universal constraint. Admissibility fixes the minimal excitation to a two-component structure and enforces antisymmetry, leading to spinorial degrees of freedom. The same constraint, through its representation and semiclassical expansion, yields the Wheeler–DeWitt equation and the Schrödinger equation as a necessary consistency condition. In this framework, matter and quantum mechanics are not fundamental inputs, but emergent features of the admissible state space and its constraint algebra.

Classical and Quantum Dynamics Are Not Fundamental: A Constraint-Based Origin

Diana Haskins

This note demonstrates that classical and quantum dynamics are not independent laws, but necessary consequences of a single universal constraint. Beginning from CαΨ=0C_\alpha \Psi = 0CαΨ=0 as the only fundamental input, all physical structure—geometry, matter, time, and dynamics—arises from admissibility and closure. The Wheeler–DeWitt equation is shown to be a representation of this constraint, not a dynamical equation, eliminating the problem of time by reframing it as a condition on admissible states. In the semiclassical regime, the same constraint uniquely fixes Einstein dynamics at leading order and Schrödinger dynamics at next order. No independent quantization of gravity or modification of spacetime is required. General relativity and quantum mechanics are therefore not separate theories to be unified, but different realizations of the same constraint structure. The framework is strictly falsifiable: failure of any element of the constraint hierarchy invalidates the entire construction.

Constraint-First Reconstruction of Quantum Structure in the Universal Constraint Framework

Diana Haskins

This work develops the quantum branch of the Universal Constraint framework from a single admissibility condition, reconstructing emergent quantum organizational structure without assuming primitive spacetime, operator algebra, or independent quantization axioms. Locality, exclusion structure, uncertainty organization, and semiclassical quantum dynamics arise as consistency structures of admissible organization.

Exclusion, Antisymmetry, and Uncertainty from Degeneracy Consistency

Diana Haskins

Exclusion, antisymmetry, uncertainty—and Planck’s constant—are derived, not assumed.By enforcing degeneracy–structure consistency, quantum behavior emerges as a necessary consequence of admissible structure, with ħ appearing as the conversion factor that expresses structural limits in physical units.

The Emergence of Relativistic Quantum Field Theory from the Admissibility Conditions for Coherent Projection

Marcus Schmieke

The Quantum Blueprint Formalism (QBF) has derived nonrelativistic quantum mechanics — the Schrödinger equation — as the circulation-dominated limit of the Mother Equation on the pre-coherent possibility space M_s (Schmieke, 2026r). That derivation operates in a finite-dimensional phase space and therefore yields quantum mechanics for a fixed number of particles. However, the Standard Model is a relativistic quantum field theory (QFT), requiring: (i) infinitely many degrees of freedom, (ii) creation and annihilation of particles, (iii) Lorentz invariance, (iv) the spin-statistics theorem, and (v) ultraviolet regulation. This paper extends the derivation to the full infinite-dimensional structure of M_s and establishes all five features as consequences of the same admissibility conditions (A1)–(A3) and the same Mother Equation. The only additional assumption is that M_s is infinite-dimensional. Second quantization, the KleinGordon and Dirac equations, the spin-statistics connection, and a natural ultraviolet cutoff all emerge without further postulates.

A Structural Theory of Admissibility

Byeong-Young OH

This paper proposes a structural framework in which physical laws and quantum probability emerge from a common admissibility principle, rather than from the unification of dynamical equations. No new forces, fields, particles, or dynamical laws are introduced.Instead, a universal structural constraint governing which states are admissible as physically realizable is identified. Building on results established in Admissibility Frameworks I and II, the existence of a universal frame constant limiting allowable transitions is taken as a starting point. From this principle, an equation of existence is formulated, which does not describe time evolution but instead delineates the boundary between admissible and non-admissible states.Different physical interactions are shown to correspond to distinct structural interpretations of the same admissibility condition. Within this framework, quantum states are interpreted not as probability amplitudes but as admissibility distributions.Measurement is described as structural filtering at the admissibility boundary, rather than as a dynamical collapse process.Under minimal and physically natural assumptions—phase invariance, orthogonal additivity, and locality—the admissibility measure is shown to be uniquely quadratic, yielding the Born rule as a structural consequence rather than a postulate. The resulting theory reframes unification as the closure of existence conditions shared by all physical theories.Dynamics remain domain-specific, but admissibility is universal. In this sense, unification is achieved not by combining forces, but by identifying the single structural condition under which any physical state may exist. Unification of Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity from the Stability of Matter

Pushpendra Singh

The persistent challenge of unifying quantum mechanics with general relativity is often traced to a series of apparent structural tensions: complex versus real ontology, probabilistic versus deterministic dynamics, linear versus nonlinear evolution, and spectral discreteness versus geometric continuity. We argue that these tensions do not signal a fundamental incompatibility between the theories, but rather originate from surplus structure in the conventional formulation of quantum mechanics. Beginning from the physically indispensable requirement of matter stability, we prove that the Hamiltonian spectrum can always be shifted to become non-negative. The consequent positivity of energy enforces one-sided temporal frequency support for all physical states, selecting the Hardy space of analytic signals as the admissible solution space. In this space, the real and imaginary parts of the wave function are not independent; they are linked uniquely via the temporal Hilbert transform. Hence, the complex structure of quantum mechanics emerges as a representational artifact of an underlying real operator algebra. Building on our earlier work on Unified Quantum Mechanics and the Unified Real Wave Equation, we establish a rigorous proof of exact equivalence between the real-field evolution and the Schrödinger equation on the physical subspace. Probabilistic quantities arise naturally as quadratic invariants of analytic signals, rather than as independent postulates. The resulting framework provides a realfield formulation of quantum mechanics and gravitation, with stability and causality implemented as foundational principles, and demonstrates that the Einstein field equations are compatible with a unified field-theoretic description of spacetime and matter. Extending the same analyticity principle to spacetime geometry, we propose an analytic formulation of the Einstein field equations, from which classical general relativity is recovered exactly as the real projection.
