Paper 38A: Proof Ledger — Line-by-Line Derivation Spine for the OPR-QM.A Chain

Abstract

This document is a proof ledger, not a narrative essay. Its purpose is to present the OPR-QM.A derivation chain in a line-by-line audit format, with every major block stated together with its inputs, domain, boundary conditions, regime conditions, derivation steps, outputs, epistemic status, and failure modes. A result is not counted as part of the completed chain unless these items are made explicit. The ledger therefore serves as a forensic derivation spine for the EDC programme on quantum-mechanical appearance from geometry, rather than as a source of new theory claims or upgraded epistemic tags. The core result of the ledger is a precise closure boundary. It shows that the currently available chain does establish an observer-side ratio / asymmetry pathway: the observed ratio |c'_{+1}|/|c'_{-1}| = |P_+(\vartheta)|/|P_-(\vartheta)| is determined by tilt angle and arm geometry and is independent of the unresolved common magnitude |c|. At the same time, the ledger makes equally explicit that the magnitude pathway remains blocked at blocker B1, because the order-parameter field \Phi : M^5 \to S^1 \times S^2 is not dynamical in the declared SEDC action and therefore no Euler–Lagrange equation for \Phi is available. As a consequence, intrinsic coefficient magnitudes, full \alpha,\beta, and general Born probabilities are not derived here. Full OPR-QM.A closure is therefore not achieved. Within that boundary, the ledger records the strongest currently explicit blocks of the chain: the variable inventory of the declared action, the negative well-posedness verdict for \delta S_{\mathrm{EDC}}/\delta\Phi, the conditional Maxwell/KK foothold in the source-free exterior, the failure of the naïve dipole model for co-located Y/\bar Y, the excised annulus boundary-value problem, the arm-resolved C_3 \times Z_2 boundary data and resulting mode-selection rule m \equiv 3 \pmod 6, the partial structural bridge into the \xi-Fourier language via KK Aharonov–Bohm transport, the intrinsic C=T equipartition lemma at \vartheta=0, and the tilt-induced projection-weight asymmetry in the observer-side readout. It also records where later steps depend on external identifications, including the neutron-point interpretation imported from Papers 28–31. The document is intended as an audit-grade reference for readers who want the chain in explicit, checkable form rather than in compressed narrative prose. It is especially useful for distinguishing what is currently [Der], what is [Dc], what is only [I], what remains [Open], and exactly which assumptions are load-bearing at each stage.

Paper 38A: Companion Volume Full Derivation Chain, Ontology, and Physical Interpretation of the OPR-QM.A Programme

Igor Grčman

This companion volume to Paper 38 reconstructs the OPR-QM.A programme as a continuous derivation chain with explicit epistemic discipline, while also providing the ontological and interpretive framework needed to read that chain coherently. Its role is not theorem-level augmentation, and it introduces no new derivations beyond the established 7-block chain. Instead, it supplies the missing continuity between previously separated insight blocks by making explicit the layer structure of the EDC framework — Plenum, Brane, Face A, Face B, and Observer — and by clarifying the category discipline required when intrinsic and observer-side language are mixed. The central theme of the document is the two-formalism bridge problem. On the intrinsic side, the Plenum/Face A description is written in the language of topology, gauge transport, lattice structure, Y-junctions, winding sectors, and brane manifestation. On the observer side, physics is expressed in the language of L^2 states, Fourier coefficients, amplitudes, probabilities, and particle readouts. The companion argues that the task of OPR-QM.A is therefore not to “invent” quantum mechanics after the fact, but to construct a controlled bridge between two already meaningful but non-identical mathematical languages. In this reading, quantum mechanics is treated as the observer-side representational formalism of Face B, while the Plenum remains the intrinsic ontological layer. The document also presents the full interpretive version of the derivation chain: the declared action and the negative verdict on \Phi-dynamics, the Maxwell/KK foothold, the failure of the naïve dipole model for co-located Y/\bar Y, the excised cell with arm-resolved holonomy, the C_3 \times Z_2 symmetry structure, the KK Aharonov–Bohm bridge into the \xi-Fourier language, the intrinsic C=T equipartition baseline, and the tilt-projection mechanism that deforms observer-side readout weights. Within this chain, the companion makes the closure boundary explicit: the observer-side ratio pathway is now characterized as a function of tilt angle and arm geometry, while the magnitude/Born-probability pathway remains open, blocked by the absence of \Phi-dynamics in the current SEDC action. Full OPR-QM.A closure is therefore not claimed. A further aim of the companion is philosophical and methodological clarity. It explains why questions such as “Where is the Schrödinger equation in the Plenum?” or “What is the probability of a Y-junction in the Plenum?” are category errors unless the manifestation/projection map is first specified. It also clarifies the distinct role of TILT: not as a fifth force mode, but as the brane’s manifestation law governing how intrinsic structure appears on Face B. In this way, the companion volume serves as the conceptual bridge document of the Paper 38 / Paper 38A package: Paper 38 establishes the mathematical apparatus framework, Paper 38A Proof Ledger audits the derivation spine, and this Companion explains how the chain should be read physically and ontologically without overstating what is already closed.

Programme Status Ledger

Jean-François Rigollet

Programme Status Ledger This document is not a physics paper but a programme-wide audit. Its purpose is to provide a single authoritative reference for the status of every significant claim made throughout the reconstruction programme. Purpose As the reconstruction programme expanded across multiple articles and technical notes, a distinction became necessary between: established results; conditional results; numerical consistencies and retrodictions; genuinely open problems. The ledger serves as the programme's official bookkeeping system, ensuring that no claim is presented more strongly than its actual status warrants. Status Classification E — Established: theorem-level result, conditional only on the programme's explicit commitments. C — Conditional: derived result still dependent on a stated hypothesis or unresolved proof obligation. N — Numerical: consistency check, calibration, or retrodiction rather than a distinctive prediction. O — Open: unresolved problem that should not be claimed as established. Programme Structure The ledger organises the reconstruction programme into several major sectors: Local structure (Fisher geometry, Legendre duality, Kähler closure, Schrödinger reconstruction). Causal structure (elementary succession, entropy orientation, closure probabilities, tunnelling and measurement). Measurement sector (Article 20 and the decoherence cliff programme). Flow invariants and internal structure (Article 21 and its associated proof obligations). Global cosmological closure. Exploratory satellite models (Koide/Z₃ and reconstructive MOND). Meta-theoretical results concerning prediction and re-description. Main Conclusion The ledger makes explicit that the strongest part of the programme is structural rather than phenomenological. The Fisher–Legendre–Kähler reconstruction, causal succession framework, and several measurement-theoretic results are classified as established. By contrast, cosmological closure remains largely retrodictive, while several ambitious extensions remain conditional or open. Open Problems The document identifies a small number of genuine unresolved load-bearing issues: the complete uniqueness proof for H5 beyond the currently characterised functional class; the regularity hypothesis underlying the Article 21 flow-invariant programme; the strong impossibility theorem associated with the decoherence-cliff framework. These are presented as the principal remaining mathematical gaps in the current architecture. Exploratory Components The ledger also explicitly classifies several popular side developments as non-constitutive: the Z₃/Koide lepton-mass construction; the reconstructive MOND/halo proposal. These are treated as exploratory satellites rather than pillars of the programme. Overall Assessment The document functions as a scientific accountability mechanism. Rather than arguing for the reconstruction programme, it inventories what is genuinely proved, what remains conditional, what is merely numerically suggestive, and what still requires demonstration. Its central message is that the programme's strongest achievements concern the forced structural form of quantum and causal dynamics, whereas most distinctive empirical content remains concentrated in a small number of conditional sectors.

The Relational Closure Framework: Toward an Axiomatization of Physics

Mingdong He

A finitist, relational axiomatization of physics: quantum theory and a relativity sector derived from four axioms about group-valued relations and closure. Contributions to the foundations of quantum mechanics (Born rule derivation, quantum reconstruction, local tomography, complex field selection), the emergence of time and causal structure in discrete networks, discrete Noether theorems, lattice gauge structure, and the Schrödinger equation derived by two independent routes. Every claim is graded in a Claim Ledger; every numerical claim is machine-verified with archived scripts; negative results are reported at full strength. What this paper does The universe is taken to be constituted by relations rather than objects. Stable relations form closures (self-consistent cycles) whose holonomies carry the physical content. Four axioms — primacy of relations (group-valued, edge-borne), closure stability, chirality from order, and observation as bidirectional group exchange — yield, at explicitly graded and conditional levels: Quantum sector Exchange-completeness theorems for finite label groups: abelian at all cycle ranks; non-abelian on the single cycle (Wilson readouts plus class-sum convolutions generate the full matrix algebra); the multi-cycle non-abelian case on the operational-equivalence quotient, with the obstruction completely characterized via class-preserving outer automorphisms — and the quotient's necessity now stratified by the source of word blindness (see New in Version 24.0). The Born rule, proved for finite abelian networks from a strictly weaker relational readout premise (statistics of realizable effects depend only on relational content); non-contextuality has this single source; additivity is basis-relative and declared as such. The Schrödinger equation by two routes of unequal premise grade, maintained side by side: a spectral route — the action operator is a weighted Cayley-graph Laplacian in the Pontryagin dual basis, the derived Gibbs state's unique canonical (modular) flow yields the Schrödinger equation with Hamiltonian equal to the action operator, no continuum limit, zero conjectures consumed, the single non-theorem step one flagged identification; and a Madelung route — physical and mechanism-rich (probability density derived from constraint gaps), valid exactly on the domain of the pseudo-continuity conjecture, with its full premise bill stated (continuity equation, Wallstrom circulation condition, m, V). A dedicated comparison subsection gives the line-by-line premise accounting and the machine-measured agreement region. Complex field selection: ℂ selected over ℝ and ℍ within the GPT comparison class in the covered sectors, with a second independent route from chirality (Frobenius–Schur dichotomy, quaternionic double exclusion); "uniquely selected" expressly not claimed. Positivity as pairing: all five in-text positive-semidefiniteness theorems traced to one mechanism (M = B†B with native factor); the Kraus form and complete positivity derived rather than assumed. The Noether sector on Noether's two theorems exactly: Noether I recovered on the holonomy action (compact Lie realization); Noether II identified as present (Bianchi as horn-filling, Schläfli as its Regge form); selection rules recovered for finite groups; the GNS bridge proved non-vacuously on the full exchange algebra; the sole potential extension — conservation as the kernel of exchange — isolated as a registered conjecture, consumed nowhere. A local–global representation theorem: six generative quantities (closure invariant, flux quantization, Weyl phase, non-abelian Stokes, orientation visibility, terminal normalization) are evaluations of cohomology classes against closed chains — one syntax, six exact machine probes. The gatekeeper no-go theorems registered and discharged: Kochen–Specker (the framework posits no global valuation — outcomes are resolutions of constraint gaps, and basis-relative additivity blocks state-independent variants), Pusey–Barrett–Rudolph (the statistical envelope is over resolutions yet to happen, not values already held; machine witness: identical configuration ensembles with opposite relative phase have opposite statistics), Wallstrom (registered as an explicit input, structurally discharged in the finite-abelian sector), Hegerfeldt (the Lieb–Robinson exponential tail identified as the only claimable front form for the continuum limit), Frauchiger–Renner (cross-agent certainty transfer presupposes kernel-free record transport, exactly what exchange-incompleteness excludes), and no-cloning (inherited in the covered sectors); Conway–Kochen and Colbeck–Renner noted as concordant. Relativity sector Time from finite capacity plus genuine randomness: the staging theorem (Θ(d) dependency depth, unbounded chains via the Moore bound; the quantitative failure law conditionalized on measure-level independence with exact minimal witnesses); the temporal quantum defined combinatorially, no Hamiltonian input. The speed of light grounded in an exact discrete dependency cone (combinatorial, no quantum input), the Lieb–Robinson bound consumed at cross-check grade only; a boost no-go theorem reducing Lorentz invariance to named statistical conditions, with the Collins fine-tuning objection recorded as a gate. The trace-descent theorem group: the growth-history measure forced onto the Mazurkiewicz trace quotient; chain reflection positivity at every depth with completely explicit spectrum. An equation sector of nine verification families (Schrödinger, Dirac, Maxwell/U(1), canonical commutator, Yang–Mills SU(2), Regge calculus, Klein–Gordon, Noether loop, Cartan curvature), where every machine-precision claim is the shadow of a proved backbone lemma — including the factor ½ of H = ½L + V, identified as the Wilson Fourier coefficient fixed by the action theorem. Four experimentally testable predictions, including a discriminating flat-versus-sigmoid visibility protocol. The Standard Model gauge group, ħ, and G remain open, with attack routes registered. How to read Three entry paths are marked in the document. Path A (derivational core): axioms → group structure → Noether sector → least action → Born rule → positivity. Path B (physical mechanisms): constraint propagation → time as determination → wave function as gap envelope → fields. Path C (scope and limits): the Claim Ledger, then Discussion and Open Problems — for the reader who wants to know what is claimed and what is not before reading anything else. The Claim Ledger is the single authoritative register of claim status; wherever body text sounds stronger, the Ledger governs. New in Version 24.0 (Version 23.0 is the immediately preceding public release; this version supersedes the internal V12–V15 and V17–V19 series, whose numbers are not used externally.) Version 24.0 resolves the structure of the multi-cycle non-abelian obstruction — the sector's longest-standing open front — following an external research exchange with three rounds of independent re-verification (fourteen core figures, three commutant instruments implemented independently, exact integer arithmetic on the obstruction side) and two rounds of counter-review that corrected one quantifier on each side: A dichotomy of the multi-cycle obstruction (new remark). Word blindness on multi-cycle networks has two identified sources, jointly covering every tested case, with opposite behaviour as cycle rank grows. Type I (global; graded): a class-preserving outer automorphism yields a commutant element by an argument free of cycle-rank reference; its non-triviality holds at theorem grade for b₁ ≥ d(G) via generating tuples, is monotone in b₁, and the threshold is measured at b_σ = 2 on the tested Wall group (at b₁ = 1 the permutation is the identity — no universal claim is made, and the existence of groups with threshold above 2 is registered open). Type II (local; measured): Out_c trivial but fusion fails on a proper subgroup, the blind pairs sitting in non-generating sectors — the same mechanism that defeats Wilson generation; this blindness heals: on every verified group (A₄, SL(2,3), A₄×ℤ₂) the full commutant collapses to trivial at b₁ = 3 by exact computation on two independently implemented instruments, although word readouts remain blind — the shift primitives separate, above a threshold, and the natural explanation (tuples becoming generating) is refuted by the persistence of blind blocks. Three boundaries at full strength: no exhaustiveness proof (a third source is not excluded); no general healing theorem (the verified groups all heal at 3, cause unidentified); the verified Type II sample is narrow. The quotient proposition restated in stratified form. The operational-equivalence quotient's necessity is now part of the proposition's own statement, in three strata: necessary where Out_c ≠ 1 at every b₁ ≥ b_σ(G), with b_σ ≤ d(G) at theorem grade; one-dimensional at b₁ = 2 on the fusion-type groups (verified cases); trivial at b₁ ≥ 3 on every verified fusion-type group and at every tested b₁ for word-separation-complete groups (a fourteen-group scan of orders ≤ 31 found no third source). Pre-registered validation preceded the restatement: a stratification-exhaustiveness scan (pass), a new-witness search (no new witness in range, downgrade clause applied as pre-registered), and a zero-conflict audit of the three strata against all archived data. The residual open problem is now precisely located. What remains of multi-cycle completeness: the rare Out_c ≠ 1 groups (54 in the exhaustive range through order 96) above their measured thresholds, the low-b₁ fusion stratum, a general healing theorem, and whether a threshold above 2 occurs. The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to

WFS Causal Chain: Logical Roadmap and Audit Trail for the Five-Paper Programme.

Mark Jason Thurston

WF-S Causal Chain: Logical Roadmap and Audit Trail for the Five-Paper Programme. This document serves as the navigation index for the Wave Favouritism-Substrate (WF-S) programme. It maps the complete logical spine from the founding question — what physically is a measurement? — through to the numerical predictions of particle physics, with every step carrying an explicit epistemic label ([Derived]/[Conditional]/[Open]). The Causal Chain allows a reader to trace any result back to its foundations across the five papers: Paper I: The Born Rule as the Entropy-Uniform Limit of Record Formation — DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19148893 Paper II: Force Mediation, Mass Generation, and Generation Structure from the LTrion Portal — DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19511248 Paper III: Emergent Einstein Gravity from LTrion Record Statistics — DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19511361 Paper IV: Cosmogenesis, Dark Matter, and Vacuum Energy from the Fisher Manifold — DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19511486 Paper V: The Statistical Manifold of Irreversible Records — DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19511630 As of v16 (April 2026), the logical spine is complete within stated regimes: every step from the founding question to the CCR, Born rule, Schrödinger equation, Einstein equations, Koide relation, and derivation of ε is [Derived] with no conditional steps remaining in the main chain. Remaining open problems — the lepton phase angle and full nonlinear Einstein equations — are extensions of derived results, not gaps. Kill conditions and falsifiable predictions are listed explicitly, with the Belle II tau mass measurement (mτ to < 0.01 MeV precision) as the primary empirical test. The central claim of the programme is that probability is not fundamental but emergent — that the Born rule is not an axiom but a consequence of what it physically means to form an irreversible record. This programme began with a single question: "what is measurement, really?". What follows is a personal learning journey — an attempt to look at the paradoxes physics has accumulated over the last century through a different lens. The mathematics is offered in good faith. The errors are the author's own, and remain his best opportunities to learn.

Guardrails for Candidate-History Frameworks: A Declaration Ledger for Representation, Records, Admissibility, and Probability

Niels Boelger

S0 v0.2a is a claim-control and declaration-ledger synthesis of four published guardrail papers in the Complete-History / Record-Capability sequence. Its purpose is not to propose a physical selector, probability law, Born-rule derivation, single-outcome actualization rule, measurement-problem solution, Bell/no-signaling result, or experimental prediction. Instead, S0 formulates a reusable ledger for separating representation, access/readout, record availability, admissibility, probability/weights, operational frequencies, Born/no-signaling gates, and actualization claims in candidate-history-type proposals. The synthesis organizes the public A-D1-B1-C0 sequence into four negative guardrails: reduced or coarse history structure is not a physical selector; recoverable-record diagnostics are protocol-relative; closure/admissibility is not a probability law; and decohered alternatives, accessible records, single-outcome actualization, and Born-compatible probability laws are distinct notions. The paper introduces a declaration profile, layer ledger, no-automatic-arrows rule, claim-license table, worked audit example, and claim-status classification for proposals that make stronger physical-selector, probability, Born-compatibility, record-actualization, or operational-testability claims. Passing the S0 ledger is not evidence that a proposal is true, empirically adequate, dynamically complete, or physically selected. It only means that the proposal has separated the relevant claim layers and made its additional assumptions or bridge principles explicit enough to be evaluated. This is Synthesis Paper S0 v0.2a in the Complete-History / Record-Capability working-paper sequence. It is a claim-control / declaration-ledger paper only. It introduces no physical selector, no probability law, no Born-rule derivation, no Bell/no-signaling result, no actualization rule, no quantum-mechanics replacement, and no experimental prediction. B3/L0 Pre-positive Declaration Ledger for Later Candidate Probability, Weight, Amplitude, Boundary, and Operational Layers after B2 and D2/R1

Niels Boelger

B3/L0 is a pre-positive declaration ledger for later candidate probability, weight, amplitude, quantum-measure, boundary-conditioned, and operational layers in the Record-Reconstruction Closure Framework (RRCF) / Complete-History Guardrail project. It is positioned after the public guardrail chain A -> D1 -> B1 -> C0 -> S0 -> B2 -> D2/R1. B2 froze the probability-gap result that an admissibility or record-reconstruction passing class does not determine, justify, or supply a probability measure. D2/R1 then demonstrated, in a finite fixed-law Z2 lattice-gauge toy lab, that declared record maps, targets, quotient conventions, exact inverse-bucket decoders, and explicit failure semantics can make record-reconstruction diagnostics reproducible, quotient-aware, and failure-capable. D2/R1 finite counts and statuses are finite enumeration diagnostics only; they are not probabilities, frequencies, typicalities, sector weights, physical weights, empirical predictions, or evidence for real gauge theory, QFT, quantum gravity, or continuum physics. B3/L0 does not attempt to construct a positive B3 law. Its purpose is to define the declaration slots and gate structure that any later positive B3 candidate must satisfy before making probability, amplitude, operational, Born, Bell/no-signaling, actualization, or prediction claims. All displayed measures, weights, amplitudes, kernels, Born expressions, no-signaling equations, and example ansaetze are declaration slots, examples, or gate targets unless explicitly identified as standard-physics comparison formulas; none is asserted as an RRCF law. Whole-architecture status: RRCF / Complete-History is presently an audit framework and pre-theory research programme for typed record-reconstruction and closure diagnostics. It is not, in this document, a completed physical theory or an empirically confirmed ontology. Archiving or assigning a DOI to this ledger fixes a citable version of the declaration requirements; it does not certify truth, empirical adequacy, theoretical fruitfulness, community acceptance, or validation of RRCF / Complete-History Selection.

The multiplicity-freeness conjecture's mechanism sentence is corrected with the two regimes stated separately (at b₁ = 2 the shifts do not separate — the blind-pair transposition commutes with every primitive, integer-exact — and reduce the commutant to
WF-S Causal Chain: Logical Roadmap and Audit Trail for the Five-Paper Programme.
