This paper proposes a physical origin for the de Broglie matter wave rooted in the indivisible completion of relational energy loops — the minimal stable structure required when reality is fundamentally relational and the quantum of action ℏ forbids infinite divisibility of processes. We argue that causally efficacious entities must form closed energy cycles to avoid free-end paradoxes and infinite-flight inconsistencies, with the smallest stable unit being one quantum of action (ℏ), manifesting as an intrinsic cycle. For massive particles, inertia arises from completed loops involving the Higgs background (via chiral handshakes for fermions). For massless particles like photons, the propagating loop itself constitutes the entity. Spin is reinterpreted as the number of loop completions per propagation step: half-cycle for fermions (spin 1/2), full cycle for photons (spin 1), and tensorial extensions for higher spins (e.g., graviton spin 2). Quantum phase tracks the instantaneous angle in the ongoing cycle, while the de Broglie frequency ω satisfies E = ℏω as the loop-completion rate. The de Broglie wave emerges as the spacetime-delocalized field of relational likelihoods — all points where an incoming energy loop can coherently complete in resonance with a detector — reconciling quantum indivisibility, relativistic causality, and interference without primitive wave–particle duality. Detection is all-or-nothing: partial loop closure is impossible, yielding either full identity (definite properties) or no event. Premature local closures produce dark matter candidates (gravitationally active but electromagnetically suppressed), while globally unresolved loops across cosmic scales contribute to dark energy via destructive interference and effective repulsion. The framework relies solely on relational ontology, action quantization, finite signal speed, and loop-closure necessity — deriving the de Broglie wave ontologically without empirical interference patterns, canonical quantization, or ad-hoc postulates. In Loop Meta-Theory (LMT), dark matter and dark energy unify as regimes of loop incompleteness.

Addressing the fundamental metaphysical question of the origin of Being, this paper takes de Broglie’s classical wave mechanics (1924) as its scientific foundation and constructs a self‑consistent interpretive framework of information ontology. It establishes three core axioms: information as the primordial ground, relations prior to entities, and global conservation of information. On this basis, the paper further derives the origin of spatiotemporal dimensions from the laws of information interaction: each basic flip configuration of information corresponds to the generation of a spatial dimension; after three‑dimensional topological closure is completed, the inevitably produced “pending redundant information” that cannot be synchronously and self‑consistently integrated gives rise to the dimension of time within its queuing sequence. Spacetime is therefore not an a priori container but the first compensatory stratum of structure through which information moves toward self‑consistent expression. Subsequently, by means of de Broglie’s phase field, the paper deduces the entire evolutionary chain from pure information distinctions and primordial phase oscillation to the emergence of material hierarchies and quantum‑observation interactions. It argues that quantum measurement and wave‑function collapse are essentially topological remappings and information‑coupling consolidations of heterogeneous phase fields; gravitation and cosmic expansion can be reduced to macroscopic effects of phase gradients. Throughout the text, physical references are strictly limited to de Broglie’s classical wave mechanics, without introducing non‑standard physical models. This study supplements fundamental physical philosophy with a relational‑ontology approach and provides a unified information‑theoretic metaphysical interpretation for foundational problems such as wave–particle duality, the origin of spacetime, and the nature of gravity.
Why does matter possess wave-like properties? Is wave-particle duality an inherent dual nature of matter, or merely a projection of a deeper underlying physical structure under two distinct observational perspectives? This paper presents a rigorous first-principles derivation of matter wave dynamics within the axiomatic framework of Time Field Theory (TFT). The entire derivation relies solely on two core axioms: local intrinsic total velocity conservation and metric self-consistency (flux conservation), without introducing any extra postulates. Following the logical sequence of ontological foundation, phase derivation, wave generation, hierarchical classification, physical correspondence, extreme-case verification, and unified spectrum construction, this paper first establishes the core ontological premise that matter corresponds to localized condensed states of the time field. It then derives the geometric structure of the existence phase angle on the unit circle of the complex plane from the velocity conservation axiom, revealing the fundamental origin of intrinsic material phases. On this basis, the de Broglie relations are strictly derived, eliminating the dualistic contradiction between particle and wave characteristics. This work further distinguishes two distinct wave regimes: intrinsic waves originating from phase evolution within condensed states, and apparent waves arising from the global spatial translation of field distributions, which are respectively mapped onto electromagnetic waves and gravitational waves as two classes of physical reality. Using black hole horizons as an extreme physical testbed, we demonstrate that intrinsic wave phenomena vanish completely at time-freezing surfaces while apparent wave behaviors remain intact, providing a unified explanation for the observational fact that black holes emit no light yet produce gravitational waves. We also clarify the ontological origin of black hole darkness: light is not trapped by gravity, but the physical conditions required for photon generation cease to hold at time-freezing surfaces. Finally, we construct a continuous spectrum of wave behaviors ranging from the vacuum ground state to black hole horizons. This paper proves that wave-like behavior is not a binary ”present/absent” attribute of matter, but a continuous function of the condensation strength of the time field. Quantum mechanics and classical mechanics do not describe two separate physical worlds; instead, they represent two limiting regimes of a single universal time field under different condensation levels.
This paper derives the de Broglie matter wave and the Born rule as logical consequences of two fundamental principles: (i) the mathematical necessity of Fourier duality between position and wave number, combined with the physical requirement of continuous spatial translations (enforced by translation symmetry), and (ii) Noether’s theorem applied to Lagrangians with no explicit spatial dependence. Translation invariance of the laws of physics, assuming a uniform background, then identifies linear momentum p as the conserved Noether charge conjugate to position x. This yields the de Broglie relation p ∝ k through equivalence of the Noether (symmetry) and Fourier (duality) pictures of conjugate variables. The resulting de Broglie wave is interpreted as a virtual, unobservable predisposition field: an alternative Fourier-space description of the same particle. By associating wave intensity with statistical energy flux (for single particles emitted sequentially or coherent ensembles), we demonstrate that the probability density of detection must be proportional to the squared modulus of the wave function, P(x) ∝ |ψ(x)|². This yields the Born rule without invoking interference experiments or photon-specific classical analogies for non-photonic matter waves. The derivation relies solely on symmetry principles, Fourier mathematics, and the indivisibility of quantum detection events, offering a reconstruction free of ad-hoc postulates.
This paper proposes a qualitative geometric interpretation of the de Broglie wave within the framework of the “pencil case” ontology — a model constructed from minimal and explicit assumptions about the structure of physical reality. Spacetime is treated as an active, elastic medium called ECV (Expanded Configuration of the Vacuum). Matter is understood as its local densification — CCV (Compact Configuration of the Vacuum). A particle in motion is described as a bubble (Ba) — a spatially extended, dynamically structured region of CCV. Within this framework, the de Broglie wave is not interpreted as a probability wave nor as a separate accompanying entity. Instead, it is understood as the internal pulse of the bubble itself — a periodic process of localization and delocalization occurring within the vacuum structure. The model introduces three energy thresholds: E_Z(1) — threshold for stable bubble formation E_Z(2) — threshold for activation of localization–delocalization oscillations E_Z(3) — threshold beyond which a delocalized bubble state cannot be sustained (associated with the macroscopic regime) In this interpretation, neutrinos are hypothesized to lie in the immediate vicinity of E_Z(2), which may account for their extremely weak oscillatory visibility in interference-type contexts. The framework offers qualitative reinterpretations of interference phenomena, decoherence, delayed-choice experiments, and neutrino detection. It also formulates falsifiable predictions, including: possible material-dependent asymmetry in slit experiments, discontinuous regime transitions in interference patterns, potential long-term geometric “dissolution” of the lightest neutrino into the vacuum. Written in the spirit of conceptual exploration, the paper employs intuitive physical metaphors (sonar, warm rain dissolving into a cold lake, a weakly excited tuning fork) to clarify the underlying geometric picture. The work does not attempt to replace established quantum theory. Rather, it proposes a coherent ontological narrative describing what the de Broglie wave could represent within a geometric vacuum-based framework.
A system of two interacting protofields with generic parameters is unstable with respect to unceasing cycles of nonlinear squeeze (reduction) to randomly chosen centres and reverse extension which form the causally probabilistic process of quantum beat observed as elementary particle (quant-ph/9902015). Here we show that the emerging wave-particle duality, space, and time lead to the equations of special relativity and quantum mechanics thus providing their causal extension and unification. Relativistic inertial mass (energy) is universally defined as the temporal rate (frequency) of the chaotic quantum beat process(es). The same complex dynamical processes and mass account for universal gravitation, since any reduction event in the electromagnetic protofield involves also the (directly unobservable) gravitational protofield thus increasing its tension and influencing quantum beat frequencies of other particles. This complex dynamical mechanism of universal gravitation provides causal extension of general relativity intrinsically unified with causal quantum mechanics and special relativity, as well as physical origin and unification of all the four 'fundamental forces' (also gr-qc/9906077). The dynamic origin of the Dirac quantization rules is also revealed and used for the first-principles derivation of the Dirac and Schroedinger equations describing the same irreducibly complex, internally nonlinear interaction processes within field-particles and their simplest systems (quant-ph/9511034 - quant-ph/9511038). The classical, dynamically localised behaviour naturally emerges as a higher level of complexity appearing as formation of elementary bound systems (like atoms).
We propose a conceptual framework in which the pilot wave of de Broglie-Bohm quantum mechanics has a concrete physical substrate: dark matter existing in a fourth spatial dimension. Quantum superposition is reinterpreted as rapid physical oscillation — consistent with the Zitterbewegung predicted by the Dirac equation — rather than simultaneous existence in multiple classical states. Wave function collapse is correspondingly reinterpreted as physical interruption of this oscillation by detector interaction, rather than observation-dependent state reduction. The framework advances a coherence argument against the Many Worlds interpretation: real superposition, as evidenced by the ordered interference pattern in the double slit experiment, produces coherent identical behavior across superposed states rather than divergent branching. Divergent branches would produce detectable decoherence signatures inconsistent with observed interference; their absence constitutes evidence against branching interpretations by the same evidential standard used to establish superposition itself. The Born rule is proposed to be a relational property of the detector-system interaction rather than an intrinsic quantum axiom. Since detector physical constants — mass, charge, interaction energy — are fixed across measurements, probability distributions are determined by the interaction geometry rather than by unexplained features of the wave function alone. The squared amplitude relationship is identified as a universal property of wave energy mechanics appearing at quantum scale. The nonlocality problem of pilot wave theory is resolved by proposing that dark matter exists in a fourth spatial dimension. Particles entangled across cosmological distances in three-dimensional space may be geometrically adjacent in four-dimensional space, making instantaneous correlation a short-range 4D connection rather than superluminal 3D signaling. This is consistent with Kaluza-Klein dark matter proposals and brane cosmology. The inaccessibility of the wave medium to electromagnetic instruments follows naturally from the confinement of standard model forces to the three-dimensional brane. The framework makes several testable predictions: correlation between dark matter density and quantum coherence times; systematic shifts in Born rule probability distributions under varying detector parameters; and potential gravitational wave signatures of large-scale quantum collapse events. Mathematical formalization and experimental testing are identified as open problems.
