The Transverse Slicing Operator: Operator Algebra and the Geometric Origin of Quantum Mechanics (Part II of the ODD Series)

Abstract

We present the Transverse Slicing Operator within the Operator Derived Dimension (ODD) framework. This paper completes the quantum mechanical foundation by deriving the canonical operator algebra from the geometry of the 5D bulk.We demonstrate that the non-commutativity of position and momentum ([ ˆx, ˆp] = iℏ) is not an axiomatic postulate, but a necessary consequence of projecting 5D bulk translations onto a confined 4D domain wall. By enforcing the spinor double-cover topology of the vacuum (μ = 2), we rigorously identify the quantum of action ℏ as the geometric winding number of the intersection. Furthermore, we derive the intrinsic spin of fermions and the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle as direct results of the soliton’s finite transverse width.

Geometric Origin of Quantum Structure from Sphere-on-Sphere Topology\\ in the Operator-Derived Dimension (ODD) Framework

Dante Fabian

We extend the sphere-on-sphere geometric quantization mechanism of the Operator-Derived Dimension (ODD) framework to derive the full kinematical structure of quantum mechanics. Starting from the topological origin of Planck’s constant h as a winding invariant of the S1 intersection between the five-dimensional bulk and the four-dimensional causal horizon, we show that the symplectic form, canonical commutation relations, phase, spin, and the path-integral formulation arise uniquely and necessarily from the same geometry. Quantization is therefore not postulated but enforced by topology, while operator algebra emerges from the transverse slicing dynamics. This places the foundations of quantum mechanics on geometric and topological necessity rather than axiomatic assumption.

The Geometry of Quantum Mechanics: Hilbert Structure, Unitary Dynamics, Spin, Measurement, and the One-Particle Quantum Theory in Six-Throat Directed Spacetime

Ibrahim Mohammed Mussa

Paper XXII of the Six-Throat Directed Geometry program derives the mathematical structure of one-particle quantum mechanics from the directed spinor dynamics established on the regular closed six-throat spacetime. Starting from the conserved curved-spacetime Dirac current, the construction produces a positive and slice-independent inner product and its Hilbert-space completion. The corresponding geometric propagator is unitary and satisfies composition, inverse, and adjoint closure. Real physical observables are represented by self-adjoint operators with real spectra and orthogonal spectral resolutions. The compact global geometry yields an exact periodic commutator algebra, while the standard canonical position-momentum relation is recovered on regular local charts. The Robertson and Schrödinger-Robertson uncertainty relations then follow from the same Hilbert-space structure. The tetrad Clifford algebra generates the intrinsic spin-one-half representation, including the expected spin magnitude, the spinor sign reversal under a full two-pi rotation, and the rotational multiplets obtained by coupling orbital and intrinsic angular momentum. Detector-surface current is promoted from the direct Born-flux construction of Paper XXI to a general positive measurement structure described by a non-projective POVM and the trace probability rule. Density operators, purity, von Neumann entropy, conditional access states, and Kraus dephasing channels arise within the same measurement framework. The positive-energy Dirac branch reduces at low energy to Pauli dynamics and, when the spin-covariant terms commute appropriately, to the Schrödinger Hamiltonian. The same unitary framework yields the Liouville-von Neumann equation, the Heisenberg operator equation, and the Ehrenfest relations in the local directed potential. A forty-three-condition numerical closure audit satisfies all 43 declared conditions across the derived one-particle structure. Representative numerical results include Hilbert-product and unitary residuals at approximately machine precision, exact spin-one-half algebra to numerical precision, POVM completeness at machine precision, low-energy wave-packet infidelity of 3.16 × 10⁻¹⁰ for the stated audit configuration, and Schrödinger-Heisenberg expectation agreement at 5.66 × 10⁻¹⁷. The result is a single geometric chain from conserved spacetime flux to one-particle state space, unitary dynamics, observables, commutators, uncertainty, spin, measurement operators, statistical states, and the low-energy quantum equations. Composite systems, entanglement, exchange symmetry, quantum statistics, and variable-particle-number field theory remain subsequent structural layers and are not claimed as part of the present one-particle closure.

What a 5D geometry can, and cannot, derive of quantum mechanics

Noel COPINET

We examine the claim, made in the corpus of the 5D Solitonic Theory (TS5D), to derivequantum mechanics the Schrödinger equation, the Born rule, spin, entanglement, andthe Tsirelson bound 2√2 from a deterministic geometric substrate whose compact fthdimension e = S1/Z6 represents energy. We separate two levels of structure: (a) the discretequantum numbers (KaluzaKlein tower, topological sectors, spin-statistics sign), which thediscrete/abelian geometry provides; and (b) the Hilbert-space structure (complex superposition,SU(2) qubit, entanglement, 2√2), which it does not provide without further input. We establish, through four independent and complete demonstrations (local CHSH bound;Tsirelson bound; geometric quantization of S2; two-soliton correlation), that: (i) the qubit isrealizable without any new eld, as a topological sector of a KaluzaKlein monopole (Hopfbration, c1 = 1), but that no internal principle of TS5D forces it; (ii) the value 2√2 isnot derivable from a deterministic local substrate, because Bell's theorem is a theorem, nota circumventable empirical constraint. The defensible form of TS5D is a geometrized non-local Bohm: a deterministic, non-local theory whose 4D projection is quantum mechanics, the quantum content entering at two named, minimal points. The fth dimension e givesnon-locality a deterministic geometric mechanism, without rendering it local.Nature of the text. This is a foundational / clarication paper: it establishes the minimalconditions under which a deterministic 5D geometry can reproduce quantum mechanics, andthe theorem-level obstacles (Bell, Tsirelson, qubit topology, chirality, Born rule) that boundthem. It claims no new complete derivation.

Unified Action-Integral Formulation of Quantum Mechanics: From Dual Operators to Emergent Quantization

shifa liu

This paper proposes and systematically constructs a novel formulation of quantum mechanics based on complete sets of dual variables and integral operators. Its core postulate elevates the operators of time, spatial position, and phase angle to an equal footing with those of energy, momentum, and action, forming three fundamental dual pairs. Building on this, we define the integral operators ˆT and ˆX for time and space, and derive as a first principle the Quantum Action Balance Equation (QABE)—an integral equation with the action phase eiScl/ℏ as its kernel. We rigorously demonstrate that the Schr¨odinger equation, Dirac equation, and Heisenberg equation naturally emerge as specific limits or corollaries of the QABE under local approximations or expectation value evolution. Furthermore, the Feynman path integral emerges as the direct iterative solution form of this integral equation. We clarify that the quantization of action, phase, and spacetime is not an additional hypothesis but an inevitable mathematical consequence of solving this continuous dynamical framework under inherent algebraic constraints (such as phase compactness) or external physical boundary conditions (such as spacetime periodicity), achieving a conceptual unification for the origin of quantization. Importantly, the inherent non-locality of this integral formulation provides an intrinsic mechanism to circumvent ultraviolet divergences in quantum field theory. This work aims to provide a deeper unified foundation for the different formulations of quantum mechanics and to open new conceptual pathways for bridging quantum theory and gravity

The Geometric Origin of Quantum Axioms: Emergence of Complex Numbers and the Born Rule from Split-Quaternionic Krein Algebra (Part III)

Masayuki Note

This paper is the third installment (Part III) of a research series dedicated to the geometric and algebraic foundations of higher-derivative scalar theories. Following the structural uniqueness of the $\Box^2$ operator (Part I: arXiv:2512.16955) and the emergence of spin-analogous dynamics (Part II), this work addresses the most fundamental axioms of quantum mechanics (QM). Key findings presented in this manuscript: Geometric Origin of Complex Numbers: We demonstrate that the standard complex field $\mathbb{C}$ of quantum mechanics is not a fundamental postulation but an emergent infrared (IR) feature. In the Split-Quaternionic Krein Algebra (PQA), the decoupling of heavy indefinite-metric modes at the Lee-Wick scale ($M \approx 11.3$ TeV) naturally reduces the internal degrees of freedom to a complex subalgebra isomorphic to $\mathbb{C}$. Derivation of the Born Rule: We show that the Born rule ($P = |\psi|^2$) emerges as the unique, positive-definite inner product consistent with the internal Krein metric $\eta$ after projecting out ghost-sector excitations. Algebraic Necessity of the Quadratic Form: The paper provides a rationale for the second-power dependence of probability, linking it to the conservation of the bilinear form under pseudo-unitary time evolution. By reframing standard QM as a low-energy manifestation of PQA geometry, this study provides a consistent "Why" for the mathematical structure of our quantum reality, suggesting that the "ghosts" of higher-derivative theories are the very keys to understanding the origin of quantum axioms.
