The Collapse of Duality: The Double-Slit Experiment as Tensor Interference and Geometric Decoherence in the DQ Framework

Abstract

This paper offers a strictly deterministic and causal resolution to the iconic Double-Slit Experiment, eradicating the need for the mysticism inherent in the "observer effect" and classical wave-particle duality. Using the Quantum Diffusion (QD) framework, it is shown that the particle does not possess a dual nature, but is invariably a topological perturbation (tensor wave) of the 12-dimensional subspace 𝐹μν. The interference pattern arises from the flow of this perturbation through channels of high spatial diffusivity 𝐷. Furthermore, it is shown that the "wavefunction collapse" induced by a detector is not a product of conscious observation, but rather of the physical injection of gauge asymmetry and electromagnetic friction into the slits, which drastically alters the local diffusivity gradient, destroying the geometric coherence of the tensor wave and forcing a localized trajectory.

Resolving Quantum Paradoxes via Causal Smoothing: The Double-Slit, Wave Function Collapse, and Topological Chiral Symmetry

Tamoor .A Zaidi

Building upon the unified 4D geometry of the Causal Smoothing Framework, this paper resolves three foundational paradoxes of quantum mechanics: wave-particle duality in the double-slit experiment, the measurement problem (wave function collapse), and the origin of particle-antiparticle asymmetry. By defining particles as time-like topological knots (ds² < 0) and quantum fields as the deterministic causal smoothing of vacuum momentum fluxes along the null boundary (ds² = 0), this framework discards probabilistic observer-driven collapse. The double-slit experiment is analyzed under two distinct boundary conditions (continuous emission and single-particle emission), demonstrating that quantum statistics are simply the macroscopic interference of vacuum geometry guiding discrete knots through a chaotic ER=EPR substrate. Furthermore, the framework provides a strict geometric proof for why fermions require distinct antiparticles while gauge bosons act as their own antiparticles, rooted entirely in the chiral phase of the localized metric shear.

Demystifying Superposition and Wave-Particle Duality: The Double-Slit Experiment in the Absolute Medium Framework

SREEMAN BARUA

The double-slit experiment stands as the cornerstone of quantum mysticism, often interpreted as evidence for particles existing in multiple places simultaneously or consciousness collapsing reality. Within the Absolute Medium (AM) Model, this experiment ceases to be a probabilistic paradox and becomes a deterministic, fluid-dynamic interaction between a moving excitation and the universal energetic net. We demonstrate that what standard physics calls “wave-particle duality” is actually “core-wake duality”: a localized topological defect (the core) moving through an ultra-dense elastic substrate generates a physical wave field (the wake) that interferes, guiding the core along paths of least resistance. All variations of the experiment— which-way measurements, delayed choice, quantum eraser—receive mechanical explanations grounded in the medium’s properties. This framework eliminates the need for superposition, wavefunction collapse, or observer-created reality, replacing them with the coherent dynamics of a continuous medium.

The Double-Slit Experiment as Temporal Branching of the Mass-Torsional Field in G-MaTT

Soon Hee@Bungsuh Yeo

Abstract We resolve the foundational mystery of the double-slit experiment within the Generalized Mass as Twisted Time (G-MaTT) framework. In G-MaTT, a particle is a stable topological knot in the emergent mass-torsional field ((\hat{M}_\mu)). Because time is explicitly defined as the phase evolution of this field, a spatial split of the field configuration at the slits forces an immediate temporal branching into two synchronized temporal streams. Quantum superposition is therefore revealed to be the physical branching of time along multiple paths. Interference arises naturally when these phase-synchronized time-branches structurally recombine at a detection plane. Wavefunction collapse occurs exclusively if a measurement interaction introduces a phase mismatch, triggering the Twist–Untwist (TUT) mechanism and causing geometric desynchronization of the temporal branches. This provides a causal, deterministic, and geometric account of wave-particle duality validated across quantum eraser, Bell, and GHZ architectures without invoking parallel universes or non-local collapse.

DOUBLE SLIT EXPERIMENT AND WAVE-PARTICLE DUALITY

V. Abbasov

Abstract The double-slit experiment is a classic experiment that presents the clearest manifestation of wave-particle duality, one of the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics. The double-slit experiment still remains the phenomenon that demonstrates wave-particle duality at the most fundamental level. This phenomenon quantitatively and conceptually demonstrates that microscopic objects can behave like both waves and particles at the same time. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the physical nature of dualism, the mechanism of formation of the interference pattern, and the impact of the act of observation on the dynamics of quantum systems. The need for a new perspective on this topic is due to the fact that the current uncertainty in the interpretation of quantum reality has not yet been completely eliminated, and the boundaries between classical and quantum behavior in microscopic objects are still being explored. The results presented here restructure the deep mechanisms of the interference picture, more clearly frame the relationship between observation and wavefunction collapse, and provide a quantum. Since the article attempts to provide a complete answer to the mechanism of the formation of wave-particle duality, extensive space is given to sections such as historical development, theoretical models, modern research, etc. New approaches to this phenomenon have been developed using modern research and string theory. As a result, a new mathematical expression has been proposed that explains the reasons for the initial emergence of wave-particle duality, and is also important for string theory. The article explains the measurement problem with a more effective physical structure and ontological model.

The Double Slit Falsification: Resolving Wave-Particle Duality via the Informational Constraint Framework

Mark A. Edwards

For exactly one century, the standard interpretation of quantum mechanics has conflated predictive statistical mathematics with physical ontology. By mistaking a mathematical map of probabilities for the physical territory of reality, twentieth-century physics enshrined Wave-Particle Duality and Wave-Function Collapse as fundamental tenets of nature, abandoning physical determinism for phenomenological mysticism. This repository contains the formal manuscript and executable visual proofs demonstrating that the paradox of Young's Double Slit experiment is entirely resolvable via macroscopic fluid thermodynamics. Utilizing the Informational Constraint Framework (ICF) and Macroscopic Relaxation Theory, we demonstrate that the electron is not a shape-shifting probability cloud, but a highly compressed, localized macroscopic geometry (the Core) propagating a continuous thermodynamic strain-gradient (the Wake) through a spatial substrate of strictly finite data-processing capacity. The Axiom of Propagation: The Wake shapes the terrain; the Core rides the terrain. By decoupling the Core from the Wake, this paper systematically derives single-slit kinematics, double-slit interference, the fundamental zero-mass nature of the photon, and the true physical reality of the "Observer Effect" strictly through the deterministic actions of continuous fluid topology. The cathedral of quantum probability is conceptually obsolete; it is herein mathematically replaced by the macroscopic thermodynamics of the spatial vacuum. 9D-USTE Geometric Origin of Quantum Phenomena: Double-Slit Interference from 6D Internal Field Fluctuations

Houlang Li

In this work, we extend the 9-dimensional Ultra-Spacetime-Time-Evolution (9D-USTE) framework to explain the origin of quantum double-slit interference from pure geometric field dynamics. Based on the 3+6 dimensional spacetime structure (3D macroscopic spacetime plus a compact 6D internal manifold), a scalar field σ (radion field) governing the volume of the 6D compact internal manifold is shown to exhibit wave-like propagation across the entire spatial region, while the corresponding particle is localized in 3D macroscopic space. We demonstrate that the observed interference pattern is directly identified with the squared gradient of the σ field, whose fluctuations pass through both slits and superimpose. The particle trajectory is guided by the geometric field distribution, yielding a fully deterministic geometric interpretation of quantum duality without wavefunction collapse, nonlocality, or probabilistic postulates. Quantitative estimates of the σ field mass m_σ are provided, and the correspondence between the σ-field wavelength and the de Broglie wavelength is established by fitting existing electron and C₆₀ double-slit experimental data. We further discuss how the compact 6D internal manifold provides a geometric mechanism to address Bell inequality-related nonlocality concerns, distinguishing the 9D-USTE framework from existing Bohmian mechanics and Kaluza-Klein theories. This work advances 9D-USTE as a consistent geometric alternative for unifying classical gravity and quantum phenomena.
