Abstract

To fulfill the demands of their companies, professionals must keep up with the most recent tools, technologies, and trends in their industry. The world of technology is continuously changing. Quantum computing is a specific invention which is attracting a lot of interest due to its potential to influence how data will be handled and processed in the future. The whole data science pipeline depends on computing, from data collection and maintenance through processing and analysis to final communication or response predicted on the collected insights. Moreover, computing difficulties are frequently linked to statistical analysis. Comparing quantum algorithms to conventional ones, the former gain more computational effectiveness (with quicker speed) at the price of statistical effectiveness (with greater variation). Data science methodologies can aid in understanding and optimizing this trade-off as well as identifying generic tools for accelerating quantum algorithms’ computing speed. These resources, which might take the form of tangible objects, digital data, or mathematical components, are used to examine how effective they are at accelerating computing.

Role of Quantum Computing in a Data Analytics Environment

Bala Krushna Tripathy, Apoorv Singh

There is a strong consensus that quantum computers are likely to solve previously intractable problems, especially in data science and AI. Nowadays, processing power of machine learning algorithms is limited by that of conventional computers. Quantum computing (QC) is one of the digital trends with the quickest rate of growth, and it seems to provide an answer to large data problems. It is a combination of the fields of computer science, information theory, and quantum physics. Quantum computers use the ability of subatomic particles to exist in more than one state at once to solve complex problems. In spite of its recent origin, quantum computing is already being used in the field of data analytics. QC can process huge datasets at much quicker rates and can provide data to AI models. By comparing schemas to swiftly assess and comprehend the link between two counterparts, QC can also aid in the integration of data. The ability to perform more sophisticated analysis and build machine learning models is a benefit of employing quantum computers.

Quantum Machine Learning and Big Data for Real-Time Applications

Shruti S. Pophale, Amit Gadekar

Massive amounts of data in many forms, including text, images, video, and more, are referred to as big data. The storage and processing capabilities of a conventional computer can’t keep up with the demands of big data. As a result, it’s tough to spot patterns in large amounts of data. Large quantities of data take a typical computer a long time to process. Using quantum computing, data and information may be calculated quickly. Using big data with quantum machine learning to detect data patterns for a range of applications is the subject of this review research. When compared to traditional computers, quantum-guided and unsupervised machine learning have distinct benefits. The challenges, future scope, and techniques of quantum computing with machine learning algorithms are also addressed. Some real-world applications have been suggested, even if quantum machine learning is still an emerging field. This means that machine learning is being considered for industrial applications, and several studies have cited machine learning as one of the key enablers to move traditional production systems up to today’s high-tech “Industry 4.0” standards. Professionals in this sector will be able to gain a better understanding of the subject matter through the presentation and organization of this complete review.

Leveraging Quantum Algorithms for Big data Analytics on Cloud Platform

Sreeja K, Jaya Mabel Rani A

We live in the data age. By big data, we mean gigantic and sophisticated data that are difficult to store and analyze using conventional computers. In this modern world, everything boils down to playing around with data. Data is produced from everything we know and from every activity we perform. It is generated from every gadget we use. Big data is vital as it makes it possible for organizations to accumulate, save, and handle colossal quantities of data at the appropriate rate and pulse in order to extract insights. Cloud platforms play a crucial role in big data analysis by providing scalable repositories, powerful computing resources, and affordable solutions for handling this enormous data. Business Intelligence, identifying trends, inferring, and predicting heavily rely on big data analytics. Nowadays, many big data analytic tools are available. However, there are still issues that cannot be solved by even the most refined conventional methods in a stipulated time. The idea of quantum computing was created to offer contemporary ordinary computers access to huge processing power. As quantum computing technology progresses rapidly, it provides a groundbreaking opportunity to enhance cloud computing platforms by carrying out these enormous workloads that classical systems cannot handle. Quantum Cloud Computing is a developing model of computing that enables quantum applications and helps users to operate on quantum computers without being restricted to a physical environment. Some findings related to the concepts of cloud computing, quantum computing, etc., are presented.

Quantum Computing Applications in Statistics

Ameer B. A. Alaasam

Quantum computing promises to disrupt statistical analysis and data modeling through specialized algorithms and methodologies designed to take advantage of quantum resources. This paper explores imminent applications in areas ranging from sampling and simulation to dimensionality reduction and density estimation. Quantum approaches such as amplitude estimation, quantum principal component analysis, and quantum generative training provide demonstrable speedups and modeling improvements compared to classical techniques. However, despite great future potential, practical implementation today faces restrictions around limited qubit counts, error correction, and developing optimized hybrid quantum-classical workflows. Key near-term applications likely to deliver on quantum advantage include accelerated sampling for uncertainty quantification, quantum-enabled principal component analysis for dimensionality reduction, and quantum machine learning models for fitting complex, multimodal distributions. Longer-term, much more transformational analysis of immense, intricate datasets can be unlocked as quantum hardware progresses towards fault tolerance. Organizations should proactively update statistical pipelines to best leverage coming quantum-centered advancements in data analysis and predictive modeling.
