Irreversible records, ultraviolet control, event-like outcomes, and consistent matter sectors are genuine demands on physical theories. They do not, by themselves, force all viable theories into one mathematical universality class. The missing information is the mechanism: which states and operations are admitted, what is projected, what counts as recovery, which dynamics stabilizes records, how ultraviolet errors are controlled, how events are generated, and which global gauge and bundle data define the matter sector. This paper replaces an earlier inevitability claim by a conditional classification framework. A theory is represented by a seven-axis witness record covering operational measurement, descent and recovery, stability, ultraviolet control, event structure, gauge and matter data, and empirical validation. We prove five bounded results: noninjective descent has no left inverse; compact cores of open record regions have positive margins; transverse crossings are locally finite; representations of a specified compact U(1) have integer weights; and multi-axis equivalence classes refine monotonically as comparison requirements are added. Explicit counterexamples show why operational irreversibility need not mean algebraic noninvertibility, low-energy predictivity does not select smooth spectral damping, countable outcomes do not create a causal set, and local anomaly cancellation or charge quantization does not determine the observed Standard Model. Collapse models, monitored circuits, effective field theory, asymptotic safety, loop quantum gravity, causal sets, noncommutative geometry, and Modal Triplet Theory are therefore compared only through completed witness rows. The result is a falsifiable taxonomy and release-ready comparison protocol, not a proof that the apparent plurality of physical theories is illusory.

This conceptual and methodological quantum-foundations paper defines a finite constrained-record model on a causal poset. At a selected comparison event, specified record labels are compatible exactly when they admit an extension over that event's causal past. The paper proves an entailed-literal closure, restriction to earlier comparison events, structural invariance under constrained-system isomorphism, linear-extension independence, and an exact binary cycle-parity and assignment-count criterion. It also gives a terminating audit method for distinguishing compatibility, entailment, uniqueness, persistence, actualization, and the claimed invariance class. The result is deliberately bounded. Comparison-indexed compatibility may be defeated at a later comparison event. The finite construction does not supply outcome selection, probabilities, collapse dynamics, operational record semantics, Lorentz covariance, or a localized AQFT measurement instrument. A detailed non-transfer ledger identifies the additional structures required before finite order-theoretic consistency could support a claim in local quantum field measurement theory. This is a finite conceptual and methodological note, not a new physical theory or empirical prediction.
When the conditions under which a record is formed remain fixed, a physical theory may represent that record completely by a unary law of the state observed. This paper asks what structure is forced when the same independently certified physical identity gives different complete records under different formation conditions. The initial datum distinguishes two typed empirical roles, while the state identity of the formation side is derived from its complete behavior. Failure of factorization through the first projection proves that the formation-side role cannot be deleted. The complete row and column behaviors of the primitive law then determine two kernel pairs and their coequalizers. Unique descent retains every observable distinction while removing every redundant label, and the resulting realization is terminal among all exact role-preserving realizations. The product pairs the reduced roles; a pullback extracts the combinations on which records can actually be formed. Only after these steps does exponential transposition identify each surviving formation class with one complete response map. The resulting bijection supplies the state criterion and establishes the observation-state object. Compatibility with the antecedent theory preserves the independently given physical state space and yields the physical–observation law in which a fact is generated jointly by the state observed and the state of observation. The same construction gives exact criteria for conditional, label-free, and joint identifiability and selects the same-source pullback on which transport may subsequently be defined. A nonzero coherent response on that pullback yields the phase-transport fundamental equation, the first fundamental equation written directly on observation space. Quantum theory subsequently enriches this canonical interface. Coherent response and full circular phase select the complex field; reversible binary mixing yields CP1 ∼= S2 ; independent composition creates the four-dimensional event domain; response-event identity glues probabilities across complete contexts; and Gleason representation with marginal consistency gives the Born trace pairing. The two-qubit correlation tensor then yields the singlet cosine law, the CHSH inequality, the Tsirelson bound, and the Horodecki spectral criterion. Bell violation is thereby identified with the absence of a positive global answer section across incompatible observation states. The quantum formalism is thereby closed into one architecture: complex state geometry describes coherent physical possibility, complete observation states specify the ways in which facts may form, the Born interface joins them, and quantum instruments carry a realized fact into subsequent dynamics. Fixed observation sections recover classical unary laws, while smooth equivariant enrichment lifts relativistic frame geometry and internal gauge geometry to the same joint domain. The central result is ontological. Physobser Theory admits observation into objective physical reality not as a mind, an external readout, or a perturbation, but as an irreducible state-bearing axis; a fact is generated at its lawful interface with physical state. Category theory is the proof instrument. The discovered physical content is the dual-axis constitution of facts, which supplies a common foundation for quantum, classical, relativistic, and gauge physics.
Causal set theory describes spacetime as a discrete partially ordered set of events, while measurement theory treats events as irreversible outcomes of quantum dynamics. We show that both notions arise as the same effective four-dimensional shadow of coherence-selection events in Modal Triplet Theory (MTT). Selection events are defined as irreversible transitions between admissible coherent basins under noninvertible projection. We prove that these events generate a locally finite partial order, yielding an effective causal set whose event density, ordering, and approximate Lorentz invariance are fixed by coherent-sector bottleneck data rather than by ad hoc sprinkling assumptions. Deviations from Poisson statistics and exact Lorentz invariance are predicted near coherence-breakdown regions. We establish cross-sector closure: the same bottleneck data control event density, measurement and collapse thresholds, ultraviolet completion, and canonical geometric discreteness. All results are slab-local and admissibility-conditioned, identifying spacetime discreteness, causal order, and irreversibility as unified reduced-dynamical consequences of coherence breakdown.
Modal Triplet Theory (MTT) has established the emergence of quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, spacetime geometry, irreversibility, and cosmology from a common projection-based architecture. While these results are rigorous, their logical necessity has remained distributed across multiple constructions. This paper provides conceptual closure to the MTT corpus. We extract the minimal structural axioms already implicit in the theory, identify a single invariant admissibility margin—coherence capacity—and state a projection–admissibility obstruction theorem from which irreversibility, probability, universality, Hilbert-space structure, and geometric response follow as unavoidable consequences. No new dynamics, degrees of freedom, or assumptions are introduced. The analysis shows that once noninjective projection and finite admissibility are admitted, the qualitative form of observed physics cannot be otherwise. The paper clarifies what MTT does and does not claim, delineates universality classes and breakdown modes, and makes explicit the inevitability that was enforced by the theory’s own internal consistency.
This paper argues that the quantum measurement problem is not a single explanatory gap but a collection of distinct tasks. We separate detector representability, probability structure, single-event actuality, and outcome-conditioned refinement, and distinguish all four from causal registration, the physical criterion by which an already-instantiated event becomes a completed measurement record. These are explanatory roles within one measurement phenomenon rather than successive temporal stages. The analysis begins from the contrast between a global quantum description containing several detector-correlated components and the single entry that appears in a realized measurement history. Rather than compressing this contrast into an unexplained transition often labeled “collapse,” we ask which specific explanatory constraints must be satisfied before the relation between the two descriptions can be diagnosed precisely. A finite-resolution alternating position–momentum history is used throughout to separate questions of record formation, probability, actuality, causal registration, and outcome-conditioned refinement. A continuum analysis shows that making the registered history arbitrarily dense does not by itself recover a classical trajectory. Several parts of the architecture are exact once their inputs are specified. A detector representation induces an exact quotient; a specified acquisition channel and record family induce system-side effects; and a specified quantum instrument determines a family of subnormalized conditional branches before any one outcome is instantiated. Given a realized outcome label, the same instrument determines the corresponding normalized outcome-conditioned state. A finite-dimensional acquisition model explicitly realizes the representability chain, while a record-algebra indistinguishability result shows that removing coherence between detector-record sectors can leave all expectation values in the lifted record algebra unchanged even when that coherence remains detectable in a richer context. These results sharpen, but do not dissolve, the measurement problem. Record structure does not derive Born weights; a probability law does not itself constitute the event realized in one run; a mathematically available conditional branch family does not select one branch condition as actual; and causal onset, stabilization, registration, and conditional refinement all presuppose or follow that event rather than produce it. The resulting constraint audit tests—without assuming—the hypothesis that global quantum multiplicity and detector-record definiteness may belong to different representational levels. The main conclusion is not a new collapse dynamics but a localization of the remaining explanatory burden. Once representability, probability, causal registration, and conditional refinement are assigned their proper roles, the unresolved actuality transition can no longer be hidden inside the single label “collapse.” In the typed measurement architecture considered here, no pre-event operation has the mathematical role of producing an individual event token without additional event-producing structure. This is version 1.0 of the manuscript.
General relativity (GR) is naturally organized around spacetime events and their causal order, whereas quantum field theory (QFT) is formulated in terms of states, operators, and unitary evolution, without an intrinsic criterion for when a quantum process becomes a definite spacetime fact. We propose an event-centered framework in which events are locally irreversible records generated by quantum-environment interactions and serve as an interface between quantum dynamics and relativistic spacetime structure. Event anchoring is characterized operationally by three jointly sufficient conditions: local classicalization, redundant environmental recording, and irreversibility against recovery. Their joint satisfaction defines local generative freezing. We realize these criteria in an explicit repeated-collision open-system model. The model is illustrative rather than a derivation from relativistic QFT, but it remains globally unitary and yields the freezing time in closed form. For all admissible tolerances, local classicalization is certified no later than channel-level irrecoverability, and generically earlier. Full anchoring occurs only when both irrecoverability and the required record redundancy have been reached, producing irrecoverability-limited and redundancy-limited regimes. At the level of anchored records, physical history is therefore represented as a partially ordered causal skeleton of frozen events on which effective field-theoretic descriptions operate. The framework addresses event anchoring--when a candidate outcome becomes a stable spacetime fact--while remaining compatible with standard QFT and relativistic causality. It does not derive the Born rule or solve single-outcome selection, which belong to the separate problem of event generation.
