Abstract

This document presents the formal technical definition of xQ⁵OS™, a new conceptual and operational category for regenerative, autonomous and post-quantum operating systems. The model establishes a six-state transformation sequence (Ψ, Σ, Δ, Ϙ, Ω, Q⁵) that governs interpretation, coherence, controlled mutation, rapid reconfiguration, transmission stability and final operational consolidation. The proposal introduces a multi-state computational architecture capable of maintaining system continuity under adverse or unstable environments, combining principles of quantum-inspired computation, cognitive system structuring and fault-tolerant design.xQ⁵OS™ is not a derivative of classical operating system models. It defines a new functional class intended for critical systems, long-range autonomy, regenerative behavior and post-quantum transmission resilience. This work is part of the Maind Neural Lab™ initiative, establishing the Neural Entry Seal™ as the analytical and structural reference for the category.

Quantum Cognitive Transition Equation: A Governed Path from Classical AI to Operational Quantum Intelligence

Pedro Luis Perez Burelli

This work introduces a new paradigm in artificial intelligence: the transition from classical systems to operational quantum cognitive architectures without requiring quantum hardware, achieved through a structural reformulation of state space, learning dynamics, and ethical governance. The contribution is not a single isolated equation, but a coupled system integrating cognition, learning, and admissibility constraints, formally expressed through the following core equations: ⚙️ 1. Transition Equation: Classical AI → Quantum AI 𝑥 ˙ = Θ guard ( 𝑥 , 𝜌 ) 𝐹 ( 𝑥 , 𝜃 , 𝜌 ) x ˙ =Θ guard (x,ρ)F(x,θ,ρ) 𝜃 ˙ = − 𝛾 ∇ 𝜃 ( 𝐼 ( 𝑋 ; 𝑌 ) − 𝜆 𝐶 ( 𝜃 ) ) θ ˙ =−γ∇ θ (I(X;Y)−λC(θ)) 𝑥 x: system state 𝜃 θ: learning parameters 𝜌 ρ: coherence state (density-like structure) 𝐼 ( 𝑋 ; 𝑌 ) I(X;Y): mutual information 𝐶 ( 𝜃 ) C(θ): structural cost Θ guard Θ guard : ethical and physical admissibility operator 👉 This defines the first governed transition equation from classical to quantum intelligence. 🛡️ 2. Regime-Dependent Hilbert Space 𝐻 = 𝐻 ( 𝑥 , 𝑡 ) H=H(x,t) 👉 The space in which intelligence operates is no longer fixed. Intelligence actively reshapes its own state space. 🧩 4. An Archetypal Taxonomy of Quantum Logic Gates: A Semantic Framework for Explainable Quantum Computing

Per David Sannes

The quantum computing industry faces a persistent explanatory gap: the mathematical formalism of quantum logic gates is precise and powerful, yet remains largely inaccessible to the broader scientific and engineering communities. This work introduces a structured semantic framework that applies seven archetypal dimensions—Matrix, Potentiator, Catalyst, Experience, Significator, Transformation, and Way—as a descriptive interpretive layer to a comprehensive taxonomy of 50 quantum logic entities. This master taxonomy is comprised of 36 individual quantum logic gates organized across 6 operational classes and 6 subgroups, anchored by 2 foundational entities. The Seven Prime Archetypes function not as redefinitions of quantum mechanical concepts, but as a rigorous, philosophically coherent translation of quantum operations into human-interpretable language. Each archetype illuminates a distinct dimension of a gate's operational identity: its foundational substrate (Matrix), latent potential (Potentiator), mechanism of action (Catalyst), observable signature (Experience), formal mathematical representation (Significator), transformational character (Transformation), and governing operational principle (Way). This taxonomy establishes a functional "Periodic Table" of quantum logic, bridging the gap between abstract unitary mathematics and semantic meaning. Furthermore, this framework serves as the foundational logic for Explainable Digital Intelligence (XDI), demonstrating how structural interpretability can be embedded into quantum neural architectures at genesis rather than extracted post-hoc. By formalizing the semantic geometry of quantum gates, this work provides researchers, educators, and algorithm designers with a novel conceptual toolkit for contextualizing the operational complexity of quantum computation.

The Proposal of a Fully Quantum Neural Network and Fidelity-Driven Training Using Directional Gradients for Multi-Class Classification

Dawid Ewald

In this work, we present a training method for a Fully Quantum Neural Network (FQNN) based entirely on quantum circuits. The model processes data exclusively through quantum operations, without incorporating classical neural network layers. In the proposed architecture, the roles of classical neurons and weights are assumed, respectively, by qubits and parameterized quantum gates: input features are encoded into quantum states of qubits, while the network weights correspond to the rotation angles of quantum gates that govern the system’s state evolution. The optimization of gate parameters is performed using directional gradient estimation, where gradients are numerically approximated via finite differences, eliminating the need for analytic derivation. The training objective is defined as the quantum-state fidelity, which measures the similarity between the network’s output state and a reference state representing the correct class. Experiments were conducted using the Qiskit AerSimulator, which allows for the accurate simulation of quantum circuits on a classical computer. The proposed approach was applied to the classification of the Iris dataset. The experimental results demonstrate that the FQNN is capable of effectively learning to distinguish between classes based on input features, achieving stable test accuracy across runs. These findings confirm the feasibility of constructing fully quantum classifiers without relying on hybrid quantum—classical architectures. The FQNN architecture consists of multiple quantum layers, each incorporating parameterized rotation operations and entanglement between qubits. The number of layers is determined by the ratio of quantum parameters (weights) to the number of input features. Each layer functions analogously to a hidden layer in a classical neural network, transforming the quantum-state space into a richer feature representation through controlled quantum operations. As a result, the network is capable of dynamically modeling dependencies among input features without the use of classical activation functions.

The Structural Limits of Quantum Computing and a Topological Path Forward

Chino, Hideyuki

**Building on our earlier structural analysis of gate-based quantum computing,** recent advances in quantum technologies have further sharpened a long-standing tension between continuous quantum dynamics and discrete logical computation. Despite decades of progress in qubit coherence, fault-tolerant coding, and hybrid NISQ architectures, current quantum devices remain fundamentally constrained by a structural mismatch between fluctuating quantum states and the stability requirements of digital logic. This work extends and unifies that analysis by providing a geometry-based account of these limitations and situating quantum computing within a broader comparative framework of next-generation computation paradigms. The contributions of this work are threefold:• Historical and technical analysis: We review the evolution from Feynman’s proposal to Shor’s algorithm and modern fault-tolerance theory, highlighting how the community gradually shifted toward NISQ-based noisetolerant strategies.• Structural diagnosis of quantum limits: Building on the Protiformframework, we show that quantum systems inherently realize continuous fluctuation manifolds, whereas logical computation requires discrete convergencesurfaces. Measurement is therefore a forced collapse between incompatible geometries, making full fault-tolerant digital logic rendering practicalfault-tolerant scaling prohibitive—not merely technologically difficult.• Comparative evaluation of post-von Neumann architectures: Using a set of structural criteria (digital stability, noise resilience, scalability, native gate realizability, generality, and materials feasibility), we evaluatemajor candidates—quantum, photonic, neuromorphic, analog solvers, andtopological computing. The analysis shows that topological computing isthe only architecture satisfying all structural requirements, owingto its intrinsic protection of logical degrees of freedom by global invariants.Taken together, these results suggest that the fundamental limitation of quantum computing is not technological but structural. Protiform provides a unifiedexplanation for this boundary, while also identifying topological computing as thestructurally consistent path beyond the von Neumann paradigm.

Quantum-Safe Critical Infrastructure: Post-Quantum Migration and Verification Frameworks

Murali Krishna Pasupuleti

Abstract: This study investigates quantum-safe modernization strategies for critical infrastructure by proposing a rigorous post-quantum (PQ) migration and verification framework that treats cryptographic transition as a safety-critical, multi-system engineering program rather than a routine software upgrade. The core argument is that infrastructure operators face two coupled risks: (i) cryptanalytic obsolescence of classical public-key systems under cryptographically relevant quantum computing and (ii) operational fragility introduced by large-scale cryptographic refactoring across heterogeneous assets such as industrial control systems, substation automation, telecommunications backhaul, and safety instrumentation. To address both, the framework integrates inventory-driven migration planning, hybrid-mode interoperability controls, and verification evidence that is continuously auditable across the asset lifecycle. The manuscript operationalizes verification as a chain of assurance spanning algorithm selection, protocol composition, implementation conformance, and deployment governance. Standardized PQ primitives (e.g., ML‑KEM for key establishment and ML‑DSA/SLH‑DSA for signa-tures) are used as reference baselines, with explicit attention to size and performance implications that alter network and device constraints. Real-data collection is defined as standards-backed parameter extraction, vendor/firmware artifact inspection, and protocol telemetry capture in representative environments. Results are reported as decision-facing tables and figures that quantify payload expansion, transition milestones, and published performance overheads, alongside interpretation of their operational significance for safety and resilience. Keywords: post-quantum cryptography; ML-KEM; ML-DSA; SLH-DSA; CNSA 2.0; critical infrastructure; migration governance; protocol verification; conformance testing; cryptographic agility
