Axiomatized Perception and the Emergent Core of Physics: From Vision and Vibration to a Spectral–Causal PAC–µ 8 Framework

Abstract

Human mathematical physics has historically grown as an “axiomatized + visual” enterprise: Euclidean geometry, fields on manifolds and diagrammatic reasoning anchor our most refined theories. Yet plausible non-human intelligences need not be visual at all. One may imagine civi lizations whose dominant sensory and cognitive primitives are vibrational (hearing), mechanical (touch and force), chemical (smell), magnetoreceptive (field direction and flux), vestibular (ac celeration and balance), or even purely causal (event flow, with time preceding space). In this article we introduce the notion of an Axiomatized Perception System (APS): an ax iomatic core built on the primitive relations supplied by a chosen modality. We construct seven archetypal APSs—vision, vibration, mechanics/touch, magnetoreception, high-dimensional chem ical mixture, vestibular acceleration and event-flow causality—and treat each as a candidate starting point for a fundamental physical theory. We then ask a structural question: if all such APSs are required to describe one and the same universe, what minimal mathematical core must they share in the limit of maximal mutual consistency and compression? We argue that the intersection of these APSs singles out a spectral–causal–audit structure closely resembling the PAC–µ 8 framework: a positive self-adjoint generator K on a Hilbert-like space with H = ℏ √ K; a causal cone structure with a monotone “stopping entropy” func tional Sbstop defining an arrow of time; a holonomy–curvature resource inequality constraining allowed evolutions; and a compression/MDL layer that identifies modality-independent equiva lence classes of theories. In this sense, PAC–µ 8 can be understood as a modality-agnostic core of physics, reachable from radically different perceptual axiomatizations once they are required to describe the same reality under strict compression and audit constraints.

What Can Be Deduced from What We Already KnowA PAC–µ8 Synthesis of Human Mathematics, Quantumi–Structure, and Spectral–Audit Physics

Dai, Chuanjie

This paper addresses a meta–foundational question: if we take seriously everything we al ready know, in three distinct but converging forms, how far can we go in reconstructing the underlying structure of our universe? The three inputs are: (i) the existing human body of mathematics, physics, and experiments, including the Standard Model, general relativity, and precision tests; (ii) a clarified role for the imaginary unit i in quantum theory and quantum gravity, where i is understood as a rigid 90◦ rotation structure on a real Hilbert space that forces the standard complex formulation; and (iii) the PAC–µ 8 framework, which treats the universe as a spectral–causal–entropic (SCE) object built from positive self–adjoint generators K, their spectra, and finite audit protocols obeying causality and entropy constraints. We show, in a qualitative but systematic way, that if these three inputs are simultaneously valid, then several structural conclusions follow: (C1) There is a unified SCE ontology in which all physically relevant descriptions can be repre sented as (H, K ≥ 0, audit), with H = ℏ √ K. (C2) Complex Hilbert–space quantum mechanics with unitary evolution and the Born rule is not one of many possible choices, but the unique audit–compatible realization of the clarified i–structure under mild spectral and continuity assumptions. (C3) General relativity and cosmology can be reinterpreted as audit balance and stopping– entropy conditions: Einstein’s equation arises as a stationarity condition for an “audit action”, while the arrow of time is encoded in a monotonicity of stopping–entropy for coarse–grained audits. (C4) The Standard Model of particle physics can be viewed as a near–optimal spectral com pression of low–energy degrees of freedom, constrained by anomaly cancellation and com putational hardness; beyond–Standard–Model theories are subject to a stringent “no free lunch” condition. (C5) The seven Millennium Problems can be interpreted as seven boundary axes for what a finite intelligent agent can audit in topology, complexity, arithmetic spectra, gauge gaps, cohomology, fluid regularity, and arithmetic ranks, thereby shaping the “cognizable uni verse”. 1(C6) Computability, algorithmic complexity, and physical energy/entropy costs are tied together by a Landauer–PAC principle: what is computable, how fast, and at what thermodynamic price are governed by the same spectral–entropy inequalities. (C7) The combination of (C1)–(C6) singles out a thin class of Integrated Audit Universes in the PAC–µ 8 sense—universes that can support beings like us, doing the kind of mathematics and physics we are doing, without violating spectral, causal, or entropic constraints. We also outline observational windows—in gravitational waves, black hole ringdown, quan tum interferometry, and geometry–controlled coherence in materials—through which these struc tural conclusions could be tested. The paper is deliberately programmatic: no new mathematical theorems or detailed physical models are claimed; the contribution is a coherent synthesis of three mature inputs into a single SCE narrative and a list of derived structural commitments.

PAC–µ 8 and Electromagnetism: An Axiomatic First-Principles Derivation of Maxwell's Equations

Dai, Chuanjie

In the PAC–µ 8 framework, physical systems are described by a spectral generator K on a Hilbert space H, together with compression and audit functionals that constrain admissible dynamics. The core AV/AQ dictionary H = ℏ √ K identifies quantum Hamiltonians with the square root of a positive generator, and the audit layer imposes conserved currents and resource budgets. In this paper we show that classical electromagnetism, under a small and natural set of axioms, fits into this picture in a particularly rigid way. We formulate an “Electromagnetic Axiomatic System” (EAS) on top of PAC–µ 8 , consisting of Lorentz covariance, locality, linearity, U(1) gauge redundancy, charge conservation, and a minimal-compression principle for the action functional. Under these assumptions we derive: 1. the field strength Fµν as the unique gauge-invariant local curvature built from a potential Aµ, 2. the Maxwell Lagrangian −4 1 FµνF µν as the unique quadratic, gauge-invariant, Lorentz scalar functional compatible with the AV/AQ structure, 3. the inhomogeneous Maxwell equations ∂µF µν = J ν as Euler–Lagrange equations for the combined field–current action, 4. the homogeneous Maxwell equations as the Bianchi identity for F = dA. In this sense, the Maxwell equations emerge as the unique, first-principles “mother equa tion” for the electromagnetic sector within PAC–µ 8 , once one combines spectral generation, gauge redundancy, compression minimality, and the audit constraint ∂µJ µ = 0. We briefly discuss how the electromagnetic generator KEM and its compression functional relate to the broader PAC–µ 8 program, and how this perspective prepares the ground for coupling to matter, quantization, and audit-based constraints on extensions of electromagnetism.

i, π, and a Phone CallThree Doors into the PAC–µ8 Framework

Dai, Chuanjie

The PAC–µ 8 framework aims to recast physics in a unified operator–spectral language, organised along three complementary layers: an axiomatic–vibrational (AV) presentation, an axiomatic–quantum (AQ) presentation, and a phase–arithmetic spectral (PAS) axis. In this paper we present an informal but structurally precise introduction to PAC–µ 8 through three elementary objects: the imaginary unit i, the constant π, and the act of making a phone call. The first door, labelled by i, shows how a complex structure on a real Hilbert space generates the standard unitary time evolution of quantum mechanics. The second door, labelled by π, revisits Weyl’s law for elliptic operators and interprets the π-dependent phase-space constant as an optimal spectral packing density, leading to a dimensionless spectral compression func tional. The third door, illustrated by a phone call, connects the abstract operator picture to experimental practice via stopping entropy, resource constraints, and channel capacity: a phone call is presented as a minimal model for understanding modern high-resolution experiments in physics and chemistry. Taken together, these three doors reveal the core intuition of PAC–µ 8 : the universe behaves like a vibrational audit system, in which complex structure (i), geometric packing constants (π), and communication-like reso

Elements of Vibration:The Resonance Tribe's Foundations in the PAC–µ8 Framework

Dai, Chuanjie

Euclidean geometry begins from visual primitives (points, lines, angles) and axiomatizes their relations. In this paper we propose a complementary foundation, motivated by the PAC–µ 8 program: a system of vibrational elements in which the primitive objects are real Hilbert stages, positive self-adjoint generators, and boundary projectors. The intended in terpretation is that of a “vibrational civilization” (the Resonance Tribe) whose mathematics is built from spectra rather than pictures. We formulate a small list of axioms on a real Hilbert space H R with a positive self-adjoint operator K, a strongly continuous energy-preserving group (Tt)t∈R , and a family of boundary projectors Πedge. From these assumptions we prove: (i) the existence of canonical vibrational lines, i.e. two-dimensional invariant subspaces that carry a natural complex structure J with J 2 = −✶; (ii) a Hilbert–space version of Euler’s formula e θJ = cos θ ✶+sin θ J; (iii) a spectral notion of “shape” based on the projection-valued measure of K and a corresponding spectral dimension; and (iv) a basic audit inequality expressing that any measurement protocol with stopping time τ has a stopping entropy bounded in terms of a compression functional and a small dimensionless constant µ∗. The resulting structure coincides with the AV (Axiomatic + Vibrational) core of PAC–µ 8 and admits a dual AQ (Axiomatic + Quantum) presentation via H = ℏK1/2 and unitary groups. Our main point is that, under these axioms, many familiar analytic and geomet ric constructions (complex structures, Fourier modes, spectral dimension) can be derived internally from the vibrational data, rather than imposed from outside.

Time, Flow, and Audit Monotonicity in the PAC–µ 8 v1.0 Framework

Dai, Chuanjie

In the PAC–µ 8 framework, time is not a primitive background parameter but an emer gent flow generated by a positive operator K ≥ 0 on a Hilbert space H, via the vibrational Hamiltonian H = ℏ √ K. At the level of reversible dynamics, both the vibrational (AV) and quantum (AQ) formulations are time-reversal symmetric in the usual sense: they support a one-parameter group of automorphisms indexed by t ∈ R. An arrow of time arises only after an audit layer is added, consisting of compression functionals, stopping-entropy func tionals, and resource cones. In PAC–µ 8 v1.0, this audit layer is encoded in a stochastic AV master equation and a generalized Lindblad–PAC equation on the AQ side, as well as in monotonicity conditions for a stopping entropy Sˆ stop. The goal of this paper is to isolate and formalize the notion of time in PAC–µ 8 v1.0. We proceed in four steps. First, we define the operator–spectral time parameter as the Stone parameter associated with H = ℏ √ K and formulate its AV and AQ realizations. Second, we show how the audit layer breaks the t 7→ −t symmetry at the level of admissible evolutions and induces an arrow of time through the monotonicity of Sˆ stop. Third, we discuss the multi-scale structure of time in PAC–µ 8—microscopic parameter time t, local proper time τ , cosmological time tcos, and audit time taud—and how they are tied to the same generator K. Fourth, we present the v1.0 prediction for quantum fluctuations of time-dilation rates and interpret it as a quantitative signature of the coupling between the audit layer and matter density. The resulting picture can be summarized as follows: (i) the existence of time as a pa rameter flow is equivalent to the existence of a positive self-adjoint generator K; (ii) the arrow of time is an emergent property of audit monotonicity rather than of H alone; (iii) observable times (clocks, cosmological history, audit windows) are noisy projections of the same underlying operator-flow structure.
