Abstract

Abstract This work delves into the nonlocal correlation dynamics of the maximum-Bell nonlocality (MBN), uncertainty-induced nonlocality (UIN), and concurrence of two two-level atoms having time-dependent atomic locations within Tavis-Cummings model. By considering a scenario where the pure two qubits resonantly interact with an even coherent cavity field through a two-photon transition, we explore the nonlocal correlation dynamics of both moving and stationary two-atom configurations under varying conditions and coupling parameters. Our findings reveal that the coherent cavity induces the successful generation of nonlocal correlations between atoms in both modes, with moving atoms exhibiting higher and symmetrical nonlocal correlations. Interestingly, dynamical maps showcase distinct behaviors for atoms at rest, exhibiting precocity at higher atom-cavity strengths. Moreover, equal coupling strength results in lower quantum correlations. The UIN measure emerges as the most robust quantum function, showing enhancements with sustained unequal coupling strengths, contrasting with the MBN and concurrence. These insights offer a nuanced understanding of nonlocal correlations in the Tavis-Cummings model, essential for advancing quantum information science and technology.

Atomic non-locality dynamics of two moving atoms in a hybrid nonlinear system: concurrence, uncertainty-induced non-locality and Bell inequality

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil

Abstract The paper explores the non-locality dynamics of two moving atoms in a hybrid nonlinear system, which describes a nondegenerate parametric amplifier cavity containing two moving atoms with Stark shift interactions. Based on the Bell function, uncertainty-induced non-locality and concurrence, the two moving atomic non-locality is calculated numerically, when the cavity is filled initially by pair coherent fields. The results showed that the hybrid nonlinear qubit-cavity interactions have a high ability to generating quantum correlations. The amount of the generated quantum correlation can be improved and accelerated significantly with the increase of the time-dependent qubit location parameter. The increase of the Stark shift ratio and the difference between the mean-number photons of the two cavity fields leads to a clear deterioration of the generated quantum correlation.

Nonlocal quantum correlations in a bipartite quantum system coupled to a bosonic non-Markovian reservoir

Samira Elghaayda, Zakaria Dahbi, A.‐B. A. Mohamed +1 more

In this paper, we explore the dynamics of nonlocal correlations in a two-qubit system, that is, first prepared in a Gisin state and then interacts with a bosonic non-Markovian environment. We employ uncertainty-induced nonlocality (UIN) and the Horodecki measure (Bell function) to characterize the degree of nonclassical correlations and quantum nonlocality in the system, taking into account the influence of the non-Markovian reservoir. The dynamics of the UIN and the Bell nonlocality are next examined using the various parameters that define the non-Markovian reservoir and the initial Gisin state. Our results show that the amount of nonlocal correlations and the degree of violation of Bell’s inequality can be modulated by varying the physical parameters characterizing the non-Markovian reservoir and the initial Gisin state. We also show that in some specific cases, the system exhibits nonclassical correlations while the evolved Gisin state does not violate Bell’s inequality. Our results also confirm that UIN is robust than Bell’s nonlocality in the presence of decoherence induced by the interaction with the non-Markovian reservoir.

Quantum correlations beyond entanglement between two moving atoms interacting with a coherent cavity

F. M. Aldosari, Ahmad Almutlg, A.‐B. A. Mohamed

Studying the ability of atom-photon interactions, especially in two two-level atomic systems, to generate quantum information resources has recently become an important research topic in quantum information science. Therefore, this paper explores the ability of two moving atoms coupling with a coherent field through a two-photon transition to generate atomic quantum correlations by using local quantum uncertainty (LQU), local quantum Fisher information (LQFI) as well as logarithmic negativity (LN). Schrödinger equation is used to obtain the time evolution of the atom-cavity-atom interactions with an initial coherent cavity state and an initial atomic uncorrelated pure state. The generation of atomic LQU, LQFI, and LN correlations are exactly examined under the unitary interaction parameter effects, including the atom-cavity coupling strengths, the cavity field half-wave number, and the initial coherent state intensity. The atom-cavity-atom interaction parameters lead to notable changes in the amplitudes, speed, and regularity of the LQU, LQFI, and LN dynamics, which can be enhanced by increasing the initial coherent intensity. The cavity field half-wave number leads to generating atomic quantum correlations with regular oscillatory behavior. The sudden death-birth phenomenon of the logarithmic negativity depends on the atom-cavity-atom interaction and the atomic location parameter.

Bell-Nonlocality Dynamics of Three Remote Atoms in Tavis—Cummings and Jaynes—Cummings Models

Xiu-Lan Zhen, Qing Yang, Ming Yang +1 more

We study the Bell-nonlocality dynamics of three remote atoms, two of which are trapped in one single-mode cavity and the third atom is trapped in another remote single-mode cavity. The interactions between the atoms and the cavity modes are studied via Tavis Cummings and Jaynes Cummings models. Here, the two single-mode cavities are introduced to simulate two different enviroments of the three atoms. The tripartite nonlocal correlations are studied in terms of the Svetlichny inequality and the WWZB inequality, respectively. The results show that the tripartite Bell-nonlocality sudden death will occur for the W state and GHZ state initial conditions. The detailed results demonstrate that the tripartite nonlocality of GHZ state is more robust than that of W state when suffering from the effect of environments.

Optical tomography and coherence of a cavity interacting with two time-dependent position qubits

A-B A Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

Abstract Optical tomography is a widely used method for estimating complex information. It provides a monotonic relation between the coherent field states density and their corresponding probability distributions. This approach is critical for validating any quantum information processing system’s implementation. This paper explores the optical tomography and coherence dynamics for a cavity interacting with two two-level atoms having time-dependent locations. We analyze the dynamics of the photon-field states, as two moving atoms enter a cavity filled with two superposed coherent states. The von-Neumann entropy dynamics illustrates how interaction couplings between the two atoms and cavity can give rise to entangled states under the effects of the atom-field couplings and the time-dependent atomic location parameter. Aside from coherence, the interactions between the cavity and atoms are essential for producing nonclassical proprieties in optical tomography. Furthermore, we investigate the dynamics of optical tomography densities with respect to the couplings between atoms and photons for time-dependent atomic location. Our results show that the couplings between atoms and cavity not only accelerate but also improve the processes involved in generating nonclassical optical tomography and coherence dynamics.

Dynamics of two coupled qubits interacting with two-photon transitions via a nondegenerate parametric amplifier: nonlocal correlations under intrinsic decoherence

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Ahmed Farouk, Mansour F. Yassen +1 more

In this study, an analytical solution for a novel intrinsic noise model represented by two coupled qubits inside a cavity, the S u ( 1 , 1 ) and S u ( 2 ) Lie group, is investigated. Each qubit interacts with a two-mode parametric amplifier through a nondegenerate two-photon process when the two-mode system is initially in a superposition of a generalized Barut–Girardello coherent state. The nonlinearity of the interaction and the initial two-mode fields lead to the generation of different quantum correlations (QCs), which are measured by log-negativity, uncertainty-induced nonlocality, and local quantum uncertainty (LQU). The generated QC of the interaction depends not only on the two-qubit coupling but also on the intrinsic noise and the initial coherent intensity. Our results show that the ability of the two-qubit coupling to protect and enhance the robustness and generation of the QCs depends on the superposition and the coherent intensity of the initial S u ( 1 , 1 ) state. Furthermore, the sudden birth and death of the log-negativity and the sudden variations of the LQU depend on the intrinsic noise and the two-qubit coupling.
