Abstract

Studying the ability of atom-photon interactions, especially in two two-level atomic systems, to generate quantum information resources has recently become an important research topic in quantum information science. Therefore, this paper explores the ability of two moving atoms coupling with a coherent field through a two-photon transition to generate atomic quantum correlations by using local quantum uncertainty (LQU), local quantum Fisher information (LQFI) as well as logarithmic negativity (LN). Schrödinger equation is used to obtain the time evolution of the atom-cavity-atom interactions with an initial coherent cavity state and an initial atomic uncorrelated pure state. The generation of atomic LQU, LQFI, and LN correlations are exactly examined under the unitary interaction parameter effects, including the atom-cavity coupling strengths, the cavity field half-wave number, and the initial coherent state intensity. The atom-cavity-atom interaction parameters lead to notable changes in the amplitudes, speed, and regularity of the LQU, LQFI, and LN dynamics, which can be enhanced by increasing the initial coherent intensity. The cavity field half-wave number leads to generating atomic quantum correlations with regular oscillatory behavior. The sudden death-birth phenomenon of the logarithmic negativity depends on the atom-cavity-atom interaction and the atomic location parameter.

Two-qubit Fisher information and Jensen–Shannon nonlocality dynamics induced by a coherent cavity under dipole, intensity-dependent, and decoherence couplings

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

This study investigates two-qubit local quantum Fisher information correlation (LQFI), entanglement of formation (EoF), and two-qubit Jensen–Shannon coherence as a result of cavity–qubit coupling via intensity dependent and qubit–qubit interactions. Initially, the cavity is filled with coherent and even coherent fields, and the two-qubit state is pure. The cavity–qubit intensity dependent interaction, in the presence of intrinsic decoherence, can produce two-qubit local quantum Fisher information, entanglement of formation, and Jensen–Shannon coherence. This ability depends on dipole–qubit interactions, intrinsic decoherence, and initial cavity sates. The phenomena of sudden changes emerge in the dynamics behavior of the local quantum Fisher information, whereas the phenomenon of sudden birth–death occurs during the entanglement of formation dynamics. These phenomena can be enhanced by modifying the initial coherent field parameters, the mean photon number, and the non-classicality. The dipole qubit–qubit interaction improves the generated two-qubit correlation and coherence, while intrinsic decoherence decreases and stabilizes the generated two-qubit correlation and coherence. For a small initial coherent field intensity and dipole qubit–qubit interaction, the LQFI and EoF non-local correlations grow while the two-qubit Jensen–Shannon coherence diminishes. The qubit–qubit interaction coupling and the initial coherent field intensity can improve the produced stationary LQFI and EoF correlations and Jensen–Shannon coherence in the presence of the intrinsic decoherence.

Local two-atom correlations induced by a two-mode cavity under nonlinear media: Quantum uncertainty and quantum Fisher information

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, NASSER METWALLY +1 more

The nonlinearity effect on the various formed quantum correlations between two atoms interacting locally with a bimodal cavity is explored in this work. The local quantum Fisher information, local quantum uncertainty, and negativity are used to investigate the quantum correlation’s sensitivity to the cavity modes characteristics. It is demonstrated that when the ratio of the Stark shift of the two modes increases, the atomic quantum correlations rise. During the time intervals of sudden death negativity entanglement, the three two-atom correlation quantifiers reveal that the two-atom system can contain local Fisher information and local uncertainty correlations. The Stark shift may be utilized to amplify the produced atomic correlation, while the Kerr-like medium can be used to suppress it. The regularity, the amount of generated atomic correlations, and their immunity to the Stark shift as well as the Kerr-like medium non-linearities are improved when the mean photon number is increased. As a result, the cavity modes’ nonlinear parameters might be utilized as a controller to optimize atomic quantum correlations.

Two-Qubit Local Fisher Information Correlation beyond Entanglement in a Nonlinear Generalized Cavity with an Intrinsic Decoherence

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, Mansour F. Yassen +1 more

In this paper, we study a Hamiltonian system constituted by two coupled two-level atoms (qubits) interacting with a nonlinear generalized cavity field. The nonclassical two-qubit correlation dynamics are investigated using Bures distance entanglement and local quantum Fisher information under the influences of intrinsic decoherence and qubit-qubit interaction. The effects of the superposition of two identical generalized coherent states and the initial coherent field intensity on the generated two-qubit correlations are investigated. Entanglement of sudden death and sudden birth of the Bures distance entanglement as well as the sudden changes in local Fisher information are observed. We show that the robustness, against decoherence, of the generated two-qubit correlations can be controlled by qubit-qubit coupling and the initial coherent cavity states.

Dynamics of two coupled qubits interacting with two-photon transitions via a nondegenerate parametric amplifier: nonlocal correlations under intrinsic decoherence

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Ahmed Farouk, Mansour F. Yassen +1 more

In this study, an analytical solution for a novel intrinsic noise model represented by two coupled qubits inside a cavity, the S u ( 1 , 1 ) and S u ( 2 ) Lie group, is investigated. Each qubit interacts with a two-mode parametric amplifier through a nondegenerate two-photon process when the two-mode system is initially in a superposition of a generalized Barut–Girardello coherent state. The nonlinearity of the interaction and the initial two-mode fields lead to the generation of different quantum correlations (QCs), which are measured by log-negativity, uncertainty-induced nonlocality, and local quantum uncertainty (LQU). The generated QC of the interaction depends not only on the two-qubit coupling but also on the intrinsic noise and the initial coherent intensity. Our results show that the ability of the two-qubit coupling to protect and enhance the robustness and generation of the QCs depends on the superposition and the coherent intensity of the initial S u ( 1 , 1 ) state. Furthermore, the sudden birth and death of the log-negativity and the sudden variations of the LQU depend on the intrinsic noise and the two-qubit coupling.

Nonlocal correlation dynamics of two qubits interacting with a cavity coherent field: time-dependent atomic location effects

Mostafa Hashem, Fahad Aljuaydi, Atta Ur Rahman +1 more

Abstract This work delves into the nonlocal correlation dynamics of the maximum-Bell nonlocality (MBN), uncertainty-induced nonlocality (UIN), and concurrence of two two-level atoms having time-dependent atomic locations within Tavis-Cummings model. By considering a scenario where the pure two qubits resonantly interact with an even coherent cavity field through a two-photon transition, we explore the nonlocal correlation dynamics of both moving and stationary two-atom configurations under varying conditions and coupling parameters. Our findings reveal that the coherent cavity induces the successful generation of nonlocal correlations between atoms in both modes, with moving atoms exhibiting higher and symmetrical nonlocal correlations. Interestingly, dynamical maps showcase distinct behaviors for atoms at rest, exhibiting precocity at higher atom-cavity strengths. Moreover, equal coupling strength results in lower quantum correlations. The UIN measure emerges as the most robust quantum function, showing enhancements with sustained unequal coupling strengths, contrasting with the MBN and concurrence. These insights offer a nuanced understanding of nonlocal correlations in the Tavis-Cummings model, essential for advancing quantum information science and technology.

Non-classical correlations beyond Bell’s inequality violation in qubit-pairs with an intrinsic noise

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

In this paper, we analytically explore two qubits interacting with a coherent harmonic oscillator field under intrinsic noise. The interaction of the uncorrelated two qubits with a harmonic oscillator initially in the superposition of coherent states leads to the generation of nonclassical correlations (NCCs). The NCCs are quantified by local quantum uncertainty (LQU), uncertainty-induced non-locality (UIN), concurrence and Bell’s inequality. It is found that the generated NCCs are enhanced via the intensity coherence and the parameters of the initial harmonic oscillator state. For the even coherent state, the generated NCCs are more robust against the influence of intrinsic noise rate than that the ones of the coherent state. The appearance of the special type of skew-information correlation (in which, LQU and UIN are equal) depends on the superposition of the coherent states. The phenomena of sudden death and birth of entanglement depend not only on the intrinsic noise rate but also on the initial harmonic oscillator field. The generated NCCs could be controlled by adjusting these parameters.
