Quantum-Resistant Cryptography for Securing Future Cyber Threats

Shantanu Sudhir Gujar

Traditional cryptographic methods become more and more vulnerable to quantum computing that develops, which may cause their failure in protecting data security. This paper explores quantum resistance cryptography which is a means of cyber protection against future threats. To see how much such tools such as Microsoft SEAL and liboqs will help in terms of implementing post quantum cryptographic algorithms, we are taking a closer look at them. However, the most notable of the Microsoft SEAL project is its use of lattice-based encryption methods to provide strong protection against quantum attacks. Along with it, it supports homomorphic encryption, i.e., performing operation on encrypted data. liboqs is a C library with a nice list of quantum safe cryptographic algorithms. These tools help in keeping the data safe and secure or they help us to improve our strength against the quantum computing. This research proves that the introduction of the post quantum cryptography is of great importance when it comes to protecting critical infrastructure and sensitive data from a possible quantum threat, and therefore advocates for post quantum cryptography to be used widely in many fields of economy.

Quantum Safe AI Pipelines Securing Next Generation Data Flows Against Post Quantum Threats

Bhumika Shah

With the development of the sphere of quantum computing, an unprecedented threat to the old cryptography technology is beginning to emerge and, consequently, the safety of the AI pipelines fed with substantial amounts of data is now jeopardized. The author of the review marks the intersection of post-quantum cryptography and AI architectures and proposes the proposal of quantum-safe AI pipelines as an active measure in response to the new quantum threats. The software that has been reviewed throughout the paper is: Internet of Things (IoT), vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, autonomous navigation, healthcare, 6 G networks and global supply chain. It puts emphasis on the possible implementation of lattice-based, code-based and hash-based cryptography self-protection application directly to the AI systems to make the attempts to provide confidentiality of the information and integrity of the models in the long-term. In addition to that, the paper will be concerned with the application of the quantum machine learning or the hybrid reinforcement learning model as the next step in the enhancement of the nature of threats detection and adaptive defense. It is the quantum resistant systems that make the current systems and future AI safe due to the evolving nature of the post quantum cybersecurity threats.

Quantum-Secure IoT Networks for the 6G Era: Post-Quantum Cryptography, Blockchain Integration, and Trust Architectures - A Comprehensive Review

Karthik Kumar Vaigandla

The rapid convergence of sixth-generation (6G) networks and the Internet of Things (IoT) offers enormous potential for ultra-reliable, low-latency, and massive device connectivity. However, this integration also raises security and privacy concerns, particularly in light of new threats from quantum computing that could undermine traditional cryptography. The architecture of quantum-safe IoT networks that can withstand post-quantum security threats is thoroughly discussed in this review. It addresses the challenges related to how to use blockchain technology to provide decentralized trust as well as secure transactions, how to use post-quantum cryptographic algorithms to protect data confidentiality, and the best way to use a trust management architecture to improve identity verification, authorization, and authentication in the diverse IoT environment. The paper then examines scalability considerations, resource constraints, and interoperability problems that impact safe IoT deployments in the 6G era. This work serves as a roadmap for researchers and practitioners who aim to create robust and future IoT infrastructure and then maintain their security in a post-quantum world by integrating recent research patterns, solution development, and considerations related to real-world implementation.
