In this research, an embedded system based quantum encryption and decryption using polarization scheme is proposed in the transmitter and receiver side .The information data andencryption code is fed into quantum encryption setup, where the encryption takes place and ispassed to the LED’s polarizer form where it is converted as photons and passed to the receiver. At the receiver end, LDR’s (light dependent resistor) are used, which act as a detector forconversion of light energy to optical energy. LDR output is decrypted using quantum decryptingand the original message is recovered. In the proposed system, the polarization state of photoncarries, quantum encryption key (private key if user). The property of photons is used in errordetection in the proposed system. The significant outcome of this research is that eaves dropping in quantumcommunication channel are always detected and the proposed system does not implementcomplex mathematical algorithms for its security. This research work is implemented in anembedded hardware for different transmission lengths for which encryption and decryption isperformed at a faster rate, when compared to implementation involving software simulationalone. The future enhancement of the above research would involve avoiding the usage ofquantum repeaters to achieve significant data transmission and reception.

Security is the most common aspect of today's world, when all things are going to digitize then make them secure over the communication channel has become the prime aim of the digital service providers.Although many encryption and decryption techniques are available in the field of the cryptography, but they all are based on mathematical calculation which are difficult to solve but not impossible. The all existing techniques can be break by using quantum computer and some extra efforts. But Quantum Cryptography that is free from the mathematical calculations and large prime number factorization is solution of this type of problems.Quantum Cryptography based on the laws of physics and quantum mechanics which gives the most secure way of encryption and decryption. In this paper Key Generation and Exchanging of Key is implemented by using Visual Basic software to secure the digital data over the communication channel.Quantum cryptography will use Photons to transmit the information over the channel which are polarized at different orientation which are 00,450,900 and 1350 from sender at some basis and these polarized information is received by second party at other end and receiver will match the received photon with his photon on his basis and matched photons will form the Key, and if anyone try to hack that information both parties will come to know about the hacking.
In today’s world, security in data communication has become a top-most priority in every organization. In general, cryptography is defined as the methodology to ensure data is secure by employing suitable encryption and decryption techniques. On the transmitter side, the original message is encrypted using a key. Then the encrypted data is decrypted with the duplicate key at the receiver side as per the accepted protocol between the two parties. In conventional cryptographic techniques, eavesdropping is prevented from accessing the contents of encrypted message by employing certain mathematical function and techniques, but this security methodology does not guarantee any key security. In many scenarios, a secure communication link is established by using a key, but a third party with a bad intent may steal the session keys, giving rise to data security, getting compromised. So in this regard, quantum cryptography is a better alternative when it comes to data security integrity. In this research, a detail about quantum cryptography is elaborated on, and also discussed are various concepts like single photon protocol, loss of data in quantum computing, how quantum is affecting computer communication systems. In conventional cryptographic methodology of data transmission and reception, there is always a probability of eavesdropping leading to the compromising of data integrity and security. The solution to this problem can be obtained by integrating the quantum cryptographic technique with data at the sender as well as the receiver, to detect and minimize various errors by employing suitable bit error scheme. This involves the usage of programming language specific to quantum computing like qcl and quipper to achieve efficient encryption and decryption with faster processing capability.
In the fast-paced world of digital communication, the need for secure and efficient data transmission is growing. For the growing need to integrate Quantum Key Distribution and Light Fidelity technologies to revolutionize information transfer, we propose an innovative framework that combines end-to-end quantum encryption with high-speed optical data transfer via Li-Fi, using polarized photons as bitwise data carriers. There are two components of the proposition, the hardware and the software. The hardware components facilitate the encoding, transmission, and reception of data. Software aspects involve using Arduino IDE for programming secure communication protocols, and encoding algorithms, and ensuring synchronization and the usage of Quantum Toolbox in Python for simulating the BB84 quantum algorithms and error rate analysis. Testing involves unit testing of individual components, integration testing of the complete system, and performance evaluation of Li-Fi communication speed and QKD security. The simulation converts each bit of data into a virtual photon, passing it through polarizers, and receiving it with potential bit alterations. Router R1 and Router R2 handle photon initialization, error checking, secure key establishment, and final message transmission and decryption. The integration of a Li-Fi prototype evaluates data transfer efficiency. Router R1 begins by encoding data into virtual photons and generating a secure encryption key. Router R2 receives these photons, decodes them, and verifies and decrypts the data using the secure key. The iterative process of sending, receiving, confirming, and error-checking between Router R1 and Router R2 is essential for preserving data integrity. Our results demonstrate the effective application of quantum encryption and optical data transmission, providing a scalable, secure, and efficient solution for contemporary digital communication networks.
Quantum computing combines computer science with quantum mechanics, and it is a fast-growing research field. The theory of quantum computing has become significant in the secure transmission of keys which can be achieved by implementing quantum mechanics such as polarization. It uses quantum states to permit the classical information and uses quantum entanglement to ensure reliable transmission creating a secure channel. The elementary unit of quantum information is a quantum bit (qubit). These qubits can be transmitted as a two-state system such as spin-half, a two-level atom. The qubits can also be manipulated using polarization techniques. One drawback of quantum computing is side channel attacks which make the information transmitted vulnerable, the attacker can eavesdrop, decline the integrity of the information or the attacker can target the physical implementation of quantum algorithms. Therefore, to prevent side-channel attacks, this paper focuses on developing a novel approach to detect the side-channel attack and rectify the same within a fraction of a second to improve resiliency. The paper initially converts the user-defined key into binary and applies an encryption algorithm to create an image, serving as cover data for the hidden message. After appropriate polarizer selection, the encrypted key is transmitted through a quantum channel. Verification ensures no tampering or eavesdropping, and the image with the hidden message is shared via a classical channel with the intended recipient. Comparative analysis with traditional key security methods, alongside monitoring for third-party eavesdropping using a quantum key simulator, demonstrates the proposed system's over 99% enhancement in secret key security.
In this work, a quantum computing based secret key distribution system is proposed. Quantum gates based encryption and decryption circuits are designed and can be used along with conventional encryption schemes such as the Data Encryption Standards (DES), XoR Cipher and Substitution Cipher etc., in the presentation layer. The quantum communication model is implemented and analyzed for both ideal and noisy channel. Using this model if the channel is eaves dropped, the sender and receiver will detect the eavesdropping attempt, the key will be discarded and another key is retransmitted.
Utilizing a partially entangled GHZ state, we propose a novel controlled quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) with quantum encryption. Under the supervision and help of the third side, the sender and the receiver can securely share the private quantum entanglement keys used to encrypt and decrypt the secret message. According to the results of checking the eavesdropping on decoy photons, communicators can decide whether the quantum keys are reused in the next round. Not only will eavesdropping inevitably disturb the states of the decoy photons and be detected, but arbitrary transmission errors can also be corrected.
