The most protected and stable communication systems today are quantum channels of information transmission and processing. Thanks to the unique properties of photons as information elements, it becomes possible to monitor and analyze the state of information flows in communication or information transmission channels. Physical attributes such as spin, polarization, radiation frequency, phase synchronization, and the quantum entanglement effect can be tracked and interpreted online to improve the quality and reliability of information in computer systems. In order to effectively use information in support or decision support systems, it is necessary to carefully formalize the processes and indicators of quantum systems for the creation of information processing and transmission, for which information and mathematical models should be created that describe the state of the quantum communication channel (QCC).The information model should allow the convolution of the information space. The mathematical model must prove the processes of tracking the states of quantum information and provide a description of the phase state of indicators of the quantum environment. A lock in a closed space with established cause-and-effect relationships is equal to a system of clear logic. The authors summarize the experience of developing and implementing the method of simulated dynamic modeling of events in an abstract communication channel, which allows formalizing and classifying cause-and-effect relationships of quantum carriers in the analyzed channels. It is proposed to use a unified neural network for the organization of SPPR in quantum-mechanical information transmission systems. Such a network could provide an automatic intelligent system state analysis mode. Such an analysis makes it possible to classify the aggregates of current system parameters to the level of diagnostics of the state of information flows and conclusions based on such diagnostics with the support of decision-making about the quality and reliability of the transmitted information. Such a system, working in OLAP (Online analytical processing) mode, could automatically manage the process of generation and transmission of information, reacting without human intervention to emerging critical errors or attempts at unauthorized system hacking. The observer effect leads to the fact that an attempt to measure the state of a photon inevitably causes an almost instantaneous change in this state. Attempting to parallelize a photon has the same consequences. This cannot be unnoticeable during further authorized acceptance of information. The analyzed quantum communication channel (QCM) consists of a set of technological elements distributed in space. The aim of the research is the mathematical analysis of quantum superdense coding based on quantum entanglement to increase the efficiency and reliability of information transmission in quantum communication systems. The essence of quantum superdense coding is the ability to transmit two classical bits of information using one qubit, which is part of an entangled pair. The fundamental principles of the superdense quantum coding method are considered. The relevance of the research in the context of the development of secure quantum communications and optimization of information transmission in quantum networks is substantiated. A review of modern scientific publications devoted to the theoretical principles of superdense coding is conducted, which indicate the development potential and practical prospects of this direction of quantum informatics. The analysis of mathematical modeling of quantum superdense encoding and decoding is performed using two alternative approaches – projective measurement in the Bell basis and the inverse Bell transform. It is shown that both approaches allow for the complete recovery of classical information transmitted using entangled quantum states. The advantage of the inverse Bell transform is the simplicity of implementation on quantum devices, the flexibility and accuracy of information processing, and the possibility of scaling, which makes it a reasonable choice in many practical applications. The influence of noise and decoherence on the efficiency of superdense coding has been studied, which is a critical factor in the practical implementation of this method in real quantum systems. A mathematical model of data transmission through a quantum channel under the action of additive white noise has been constructed. An analytical dependence of the probability of correct information recovery on the noise level has been established, which allows us to estimate the limits of reliability of superdense coding in noisy environments. Based on the research, the prospects for the practical application of superdense coding in quantum communication networks, in particular the quantum Internet, as well as in quantum computing and information security systems, have been outlined. The results obtained contribute to the further development of quantum technologies and can be used to create new protocols for highly efficient quantum data transmission.
Quantum information science has altered the concept of the method of processing and transporting information through the laws of quantum mechanics. Quantum entanglement is one of its basic properties, which is instrumental to non-classical correlations between spatially separate particles. New quantum communication networks and quantum computing systems distributed are based on these interrelations. In this paper, quantum information flow dynamics of multi-particle entangled networks with particular emphasis to the processes governing information transmission, redistribution and maintenance of coupled quantum nodes are discussed. The paper discloses the way in which the entangled structures comprising multiple entities can help in facilitating the sharing of information beyond the capabilities of the classical communication systems. Complex entangled structures are analyzed in terms of the channels through which the flow of quantum information is analyzed in respect to the theoretical models of multi-qubit systems and networked quantum channels. The way the communication between the particles influences the coherence, strength of correlation, as well as the stability of the whole network in general, is given particular attention. The effect of environmental noise and decoherence which can cause a break of entanglement and the loss of efficiency in quantum information exchange is also considered in the analysis. Moreover, the article discusses the application of network topology in order to establish the behaviour of entangled systems. The impact of the structural changes on information transfer reliability and speed is determined by the evaluation of the various forms of quantum nodes and connections. These findings suggest that entangled networks structured appropriately will be able to enhance stability of quantum communication and assist in distributing quantum resources more efficiently. Overall, the present research can be deemed as part of the bigger initiative of scaling up quantum communication infrastructures. The research builds knowledge in the sense that it provides an insight into the behavior of information in multi-particle entangled networks with important considerations being made as to the advancement of robust quantum networks which can be used in future to support the realization of future applications in the area of secure communication, distributed computing and the future developments in information processing technologies.
Modem and perspective tasks of robotics with control from artificial intelligence systems require the use of small-sized measuring devices. In this case, the intensively developed quantum sensors and quantum computers have good prospects. Their main advantage is the ability to successfully process the data of random processes with decomposition of complex functions into simple multipliers, as well as their small size and the ability to transmit data over long distances without wires. Data transmitted over quantum communication lines cannot be copied or intercepted, which is very useful for remote control of complex technical systems. Based on the results of the probabilistic noisy data analysis quantum computer can quickly develop an assessment of the complex system technical condition. At the same time, there is no need to go through all the possible solutions to the evaluation problem with a huge amount of input data, some of which can sometimes be undefined. The main problem in the research of quantum processes is that researchers study the processes occurring in materials, but they do not indicate the ways in which quantum sensors and quantum computers are used in practical applications. This article explains how to form a measurement channel that will be compatible with a quantum computer, how to organize the input of information about the measured physical quantity into a quantum computer using a quantum sensor. The main objective was to bring the results of basic research in the field of quantum computing closer to their application in applied tasks. It is shown how the quantum processes can be shifted to the field of physical quantities technical measurements used in the automatic diagnosis of the technical state of complex systems. In the process of obtaining the results of the study, the deduction method of conclusions within the framework of a systematic approach to the development of technical systems elements was used. The result is a description of the processes in the quantum measuring channel, which is used to enter diagnostic data in a quantum computer. The study main conclusions breed the idea that quantum sensors implemented in the form of a modified diamond crystal are well described by the theory of measuring transducers with frequency output and can be used in diagnostic computers.

Classical information support for optimal control of dynamic processes is a set of methods, models, and computational tools that enable the collection, coordination, evaluation, forecasting, and interpretation of data on the state of an object in order to formulate an acceptable and optimal control action under conditions of uncertainty, constraints, and multicriteria. However, in today’s environment of sensor saturation and digitalization of technological processes, fundamental difficulties arise associated with the exponential growth of the computational complexity of algorithms for synthesizing optimal solutions as the dimensionality of the state space increases, environmental uncertainty increases, and a priori information on the current state of multidimensional processes/control objects is incomplete/noisy. The aim of this work is to propose a concept for information support for optimal decision-making in the control of dynamic processes in high-dimensional problems, based on the rejection of the deterministic calculation of a single optimal solution. Instead, a hybrid information space is formed where neural network operators perform continuous dimensionality reduction and fast feedback approximation, and quantum processors are used as specialized accelerators for two NP-hard subproblems. An example of implementing a dynamic neural network for approximate solutions at the second stage of the hybrid information system’s operational sequence is presented. A procedure for quadratic discrete quantum optimization without constraints based on adiabatic quantum annealing is described, applicable at the final stage of the search for an optimal solution.
Born about a century ago, Quantum Mechanics has revolutionized the description and the interpretation of Physics at sub-microscopic level. In the last decades, due to the influence of mathematical and engineering research fields, Quantum Mechanics has given birth to related research areas like Quantum Computation, Quantum Information and Quantum Communication. With the discovery of the laser, and later the development of fiber optics and satellite networks, Quantum Communication and Quantum Optics seems to have a natural field of application in Communication Systems. Despite this, the interest in this technology and studies for communication purpose has been overshadowed by the great results in communication networks achieved in the last decades with classical paradigms. However, due to the increasing demand of communication data rate, system designers are now looking at Quantum Mechanics for new and more performanting solutions in communication purposes. Early theoretical studies on Quantum Discrimination Theory and Quantum Information predict better performance for Communication Systems that take advantage of the quantum laws. In addition, Quantum Mechanics provides the deepest description of the physical phenomena, and there are scenarios where a quantum model fits best, as in in deep space communications, where the received signal is really weak, or in a satellite networks, where we are interested in strongly reducing the power of transmitted signals, possibly without sacrificing performance significantly. However, if on one side Quantum Communication Theory promises great gains in the performance of communication systems, on the other hand it fails to describe how to implement physical devices that reach these ultimate limits. So far, only a few architectures achieving these performances are known, and only for simple modulation formats. We are interested in the scenario of optical communications, where the message transmitted is encoded in a sequence of coherent states. Transmitter devices for coherent modulation are well known and consist in laser pulse generators. Instead, receiver implementations working at the quantum limit performance limit are yet to be found. In this Thesis I deal with different topics in the quantum transmission scenario. First, I review existing classical (suboptimal) and quantum (suboptimal and optimal) receiver schemes for the binary coherent modulation. I present a new formulation of the optimal scheme known as Dolinar Receiver with the multiple copies problem, focusing on the information gained during the measurement. Second, I analyze the binary communication in a noisy environment, studying the error probability and the capacity of the binary channel induced. Given the description of the quantum channel, I optimize both the transmitted quantum states and the measurement operators employed in the communication. Third, I consider the Pulse Position Modulation, that is particularly suitable for space and satellite communication due to its simplicity of implementation and high capacity. I review some known suboptimal receivers, and I propose a receiver scheme which approaches the limit performance predicted with quantum theory outperforming the existing schemes. To sum up the results of this Thesis, in order to approach the limit performance predicted by Quantum Mechanics, an optimization is always necessary to exceed the classical effects and trigger the quantum phenomena. In particular, the information gained during the measurement plays an important role, for example in the definition of adaptive receivers. In this Thesis both these aspects have been deeply investigated.
