Entropic uncertainty and quantum correlations in perylene-qubit dimers under decoherence channels

Ahmad N. Khedr, Samira Elghaayda, Mostafa Mansour

Abstract We explore how thermal fluctuations and noisy decoherence affect non-classical correlations and entropic uncertainty relations in a perylene-bisimide (PBI) dimer system represented by two coupled molecular two-level systems. The composite Hamiltonian includes dipole-dipole interaction between the monomers, and the system’s initial state is considered the thermal Gibbs state, which exhibits entanglement at a finite temperature. Environmental noise is introduced through amplitude damping, phase damping, and phase-flip channels, allowing us to trace the evolution of logarithmic negativity, trace distance discord, and the quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relation (QMA-EUR). The investigation demonstrates that entanglement decays rapidly with increasing temperature and decoherence strength, whereas trace discord remains resilient over a more comprehensive parameter range. This robustness suggests that PBI dimers can retain useful quantum resources under realistic environmental conditions, highlighting their potential as building blocks for molecular quantum information devices.

Entropic Uncertainty for Two Coupled Dipole Spins Using Quantum Memory under the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya Interaction

-axis, the current study explores the quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relation (QMA-EUR), entropy mixedness and the concurrence two-spin entanglement. Quantum entanglement is reduced at increased temperature values, but inflation uncertainty and mixedness are enhanced. The considered quantum effects are stabilized to their stationary values at high temperatures. The two-spin entanglement is entirely repressed if the D-M interaction is disregarded, and the entropic uncertainty and entropy mixedness reach their maximum values for equal coupling rates. Rather than the concurrence, the entropy mixedness can be a proper indicator of the nature of the entropic uncertainty. The effect of model parameters (D-M coupling and dipole-dipole spin) on the quantum dynamic effects in thermal environment temperature is explored. The results reveal that the model parameters cause significant variations in the predicted QMA-EUR.

Quantum memory and coherence dynamics of two dipole-coupled qubits interacting with two cavity fields under decoherence effect

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Abdel‐Haleem Abdel‐Aty, Hichem Eleuch

This paper investigates the intrinsic decoherence effect on quantum memory and coherence dynamics of two dipole-coupled qubits in a non-degenerate bimodel cavity. Entropic uncertainty, entropy, and concurrence are utilized to examine the dynamics of quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relations, mixedness, and entanglement. The results indicate that the nonlinear interactions between the two qubits and the cavity generate quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty, mixedness, and entanglement, which are reliant not only on the qubit–qubit interaction but also on the intrinsic decoherence and coherence intensity of the initial two-mode cavity states. For specific values of the dipole–dipole interaction, non-classical correlations can be enhanced By reducing the initial intensity coherence, the stability of the quantum memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relations, as well as the two-qubit mixedness of the intrinsic decoherence, are accelerated.
