Abstract

Abstract In this work, we discuss the monogamy property of quantum correlations (entanglement and steering) distributed in a cavity-free optomechanical system. In a tripartite pure Gaussian state, we verify the hierarchy of the studied quantum correlations. We investigate in detail the CKW-type monogamy inequalities, based on Gaussian Rényi-2 entropy entanglement, as well as, Gaussian steering. We quantify genuine tripartite entanglement by using the minimum residual Gaussian entanglement. In addition, we consider the minimum residual Gaussian steering as a quantifier of genuine tripartite steering. Our results indicate that, in the one-mode versus two-mode Gaussian state, the correlations hierarchy was respected; in the considered pure state, the monogamy of entanglement and steering distribution was proven and the studied genuine tripartite correlations have similar time evolution under the same conditions.

Monogamy of quantum steering in exciton--cavity optomechanical system

Hamza Harraf, Mohamed Amazioug, Rachid Ahl Laamara

In this work, we study a theoretical scheme to investigate the monogamy of quantum steering in a hybrid exciton--cavity optomechanical (EOM) system. Within the Gaussian-state formalism, we quantify the steerability among the exciton, photon, and mechanical modes in both the steady-state and dynamical regimes. We establish and verify CKW-type monogamy inequalities for Gaussian steering and demonstrate that the distribution of bipartite steering among the three modes can be controlled through the system parameters. We further examine the influence of thermal noise and temporal evolution on the steering properties and the corresponding monogamy relations. Our results show that increasing the temperature generally suppresses the strength of Gaussian steering and modifies the degree of steering sharing imposed by the CKW-type monogamy relations. In contrast, in the dynamical regime, the steerability can increase with evolution time over suitable temporal windows, indicating that the transient dynamics can be exploited to enhance quantum correlations. These results highlight the potential of hybrid exciton--optomechanical platforms for controllable quantum correlations and provide a promising route toward the generation and manipulation of multipartite quantum resources.

Monogamy inequality and entanglement sharing in optomechanics

Jamila Hmouch, Mohamed Amazioug, Mostafa Nassik

In this paper, we quantitatively study the dynamics of the tripartite entanglement of the three-mode Gaussian state in a cavity-free optomechanical system. After deriving the explicit form of the evolved state matrix covariance, we elucidate in detail the evidence of entanglement monogamy in different mode partitions, based on Coofman–Kundu–Wotters inequalities, using the Gaussian Contangle quantifying bipartite entanglement. Next, we focus on the genuine tripartite entanglement quantified by means of the Residual Gaussian Contangle.

Multipartite EPR-steering and entanglement in a cavity magnomechanical system through coherent feedback

Hamza Harraf, Noura Chabar, Mohamed Amazioug +2 more

Multipartite Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) steering plays a crucial role in realizing secure quantum communication. In this paper, we theoretically investigate bipartite and tripartite quantum correlations, including entanglement and Gaussian quantum steering, in a cavity magnomechanical system incorporating a coherent feedback loop. We quantify and compare entanglement and Gaussian steering for four coupled bipartite Gaussian modes. Our results show that tuning the beam splitter's reflectivity parameter significantly enhances entanglement in both bipartite and tripartite states. Furthermore, we verify Coffman-Kundu-Wootters (CKW)-type monogamy inequalities for Gaussian steering among three tripartite modes for specific reflectivity values, and reveal the presence of one-way steering. These findings validate our system and demonstrate its potential for robust detection of multipartite entanglement and steering.

Study of collective steering behavior in a double cavity optomechanical system

Jamila Hmouch, Noureddine Benrass, Abdelkader Hidki +1 more

In this paper, we theoretically investigate, in a double cavity system, collective steering, between two mechanical modes and an optical mode, as well as between two optical modes and a mechanical mode. We explore the behavior of collective steering in terms of squeezing light, phonon tunneling force and photon hopping strength. We thus found the optimal choice for the considered parameters to improve collective steering irreducible to individual steering. In parallel, the monogamy of steering was demonstrated via the CKW-type monogamy inequalities. In addition, the study of collective steering behaviors indicates the conditions under which each considered tripartite state generates one-way and two-way steering.

Dynamics of Rényi-2 correlations in optomechanics

Abderrahim Lakhfif, Abdelkader Hidki, Jamal El Qars +1 more

Abstract We report on temporal evolution of three different kinds of correlations present between two mechanical resonators of two distant Fabry-Pérot cavities. The two cavities are jointly fed by a two-mode squeezed light and driven by two independent coherent lasers. We consider the initial state of the two mechanical modes as a two-mode uncorrelated thermal state. After evaluating the dynamical covariance matrix elements, we give explicit expressions of the measures of correlations defined via the Rényi-2 entropy, namely, the Rényi-2 quantum mutual information, the Gaussian Rényi-2 entanglement and the Gaussian quantum steering. We find that by an appropriate choice of the system parameters, it is possible to generate entanglement and steering via a quantum correlations transfer from squeezed light to the mechanical bi-mode state. The influence of the squeezing parameter, the optomechanical cooperativity and the environmental thermal noise on the correlations are studied thoroughly. Additionally, we show in various circumstances that the considered temporal correlations respect the hierarchical relation established in L Lami, C Hirche, G Adesso, and A Winter, (2016 Phys. Rev. Lett. 117 , 220 502).

Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering criterion and monogamy relation via correlation matrices in tripartite systems

Lijuan Li, Xiao‐Gang Fan, Xue‐Ke Song +2 more

Quantum steering is considered one of the most well-known nonlocal phenomena in quantum mechanics. Unlike entanglement and Bell nonlocality, the asymmetry of quantum steering makes it vital for one-sided device-independent quantum information processing. Although there has been much progress on steering detection for bipartite systems, the criterion for Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering in tripartite systems remains challenging and inadequate. In this paper we first derive a promising steering criterion for any three-qubit states via correlation matrix. Furthermore, we propose the monogamy relation between the tripartite steering of system and the bipartite steering of subsystems based on the derived criterion. Finally, as illustrations, we demonstrate the performance of the steering criterion and the monogamy relation by means of several representative examples. We believe that the results and methods presented in this work could be beneficial to capture genuine multipartite steering in the near future.
