Abstract

The article is devoted to presentation of fundamentals of the metarelational paradigm based on metaphysical principles and aimed at joining the principles of three dualistic physical paradigms in the context of the relational approach. The problems of utmost importance, solvable in the framework of the metarelational approach are shown. Among these are: evidence of spinor description of particles in quantum electrodynamics; an algebraic formulation of the atomic theory; revealing the sources of the origin of classical space-time concepts; a new approach to justification of types and the properties of elementary particles involved in strong interactions; the relational approach to atomic nuclei structure description; the description of going from a prototype to the present concepts of classical space-time; a dualistic relational interpretation of classical physics; an approach to the nature of gravitational interactions alternative to General Relativity.

PRINCIPLES OF METAPHYSICS IN THE THEORY OF PHYSICAL STRUCTURES AND IN THE META-RELATIONAL PARADIGM

Yu. S. Vladimirоv

In the work indicated are, firstly, three main reasons for revision of prevailing ideas about physical reality: inadequacy of the classical space-time in microworld physics, unsuccessful attempts to combine the principles of quantum theory and general relativity and, above all, the presence of the third physical paradigm - relational one. Secondly, shown are the constituents of the latter requiring the use of key metaphysical principles, and thirdly, they have been formulated. Fourthly, the mathematical formalism reflecting the unity of three metaphysical principles has now been proposed. Its foundations were laid in the theories of physical structures by Yu.I. Kulakov et al. Finally, fifthly, shown are basic results of applying the theory of binary systems of complex relations to solve the problems of microworld physics.

Metaphysics of a relational event: towards a dialectic of overcoming the crisis of quantum ontology

Evgeny Vladimirovich Bolshakov

The aim of the research is to develop a dialectical relational-event ontology (DREO), that is, a second-order metaphysical framework designed to resolve the fundamental problems of the philosophy of quantum physics: wave-particle dualism and the irreducible pluralism of interpretations. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the following: for the first time, not just another interpretation of quantum mechanics is proposed, but a meta-framework that dialectically sublates the pluralism of interpretations itself and demonstrates their systemic unity; the category of a "relational event" is introduced as a fundamental unit of being, which marks a transition from substantial metaphysics (debates on the individuality of objects) to a metaphysics of becoming; wave-particle dualism is interpreted not as ontological (two entities) and not as epistemological (N. Bohr's complementarity principle), but as a dialectical contradiction sublated in the concept of "relational potentiality" – a structure of possibilities actualized depending on the perspective; the complementarity of wave and particle for the first time receives ontological status – it is a mode of existence of quantum reality itself as a "pulsation" between modes of actualization; a new model of scientific rationality is substantiated – dialectical pluralism – where truth is not a property of an individual proposition but a property of the entire system of perspectives taken in their dialectical unity, which fundamentally distinguishes DREO from contextual quantum realism (CQR), which remains within the static opposition of "rule – application" and epistemological perspectivism. The key results of the study are the following ideas: a relational event (rather than an object or a relation in itself) is recognized as the fundamental unit of being – a discrete act of transition from the potential to the actual in a specific context of interaction; "particle" and "wave" are interpreted as two extreme, mutually exclusive and simultaneously complementary types of actualization of a single structure of potencies in different perspectives; the multiplicity of incompatible but empirically equivalent interpretations of quantum mechanics is shown not as a flaw in the theory, but as a logical consequence of the relational structure of reality, which requires a multitude of complementary perspectives for its adequate expression. Thus, the century-old opposition between objectivism and relativism in the philosophy of science is removed.

PHYSICAL AND SUB-PHYSICAL PARADIGMS

V. F. Panov

Promising tasks in three dualistic metaphysical paradigms are noted. The prospects of the relational-statistical interpretation (interpretation) of quantum mechanics are indicated. In relational physics, the importance of studying the possibility of controlling gravity due to an electromagnetic field is noted. In the field-theoretic approach, it is necessary to investigate the possibility of developing a gauge theory of time. A way of constructing the geometry of praspinors based on unary systems of complex relations is proposed. The hypothesis of pre-physical reality and the prospect of creating binary geometrosubphysics are discussed.

Necessary Connection between Laws of Physics and Metaphysics

Omer Atilla Ergi

This article examines the need for a comprehensive theory that explains the creation of the universe and the enigmatic behaviours observed in quantum particles. Recent advancements in quantum physics have revealed phenomena in the microscopic and macroscopic realms that challenge conventional explanations based solely on natural laws. This article introduces an argument centred on the concept of “presence of metaphysics in physics” as a means to provide a plausible account for the improbable existence of the universe and the mechanics of the space-time continuum. By incorporating ontological principles in classical physics and quantum mechanics, this proposed model sheds light on the origins of natural laws while also considering the mysterious balance and intricacies observed in micro and macrocosms. Moreover, this article argues that a mere succession of random events guided by mathematical probabilities cannot adequately establish and govern the natural laws that appear to have arisen with the aim of fostering life within the universe.

Quantum Physics

Ernest H. Hutten

Quantum theory has created a fundamental change in our ideas as relativity theory had done before. But while relativity theory is essentially classical in its conceptions—it is in fact the culmination of classical physics—quantum mechanics is founded on some new principles. The quantum laws are very different in character from the laws we find in classical theory. In particular, quantum mechanics is a strictly statistical type of theory : from this arises the different conception of causality that marks the new outlook of modern physics. Classical theory describes the so-called macroscopic phenomena, that is, things and events which are more or less of the same size and kind as we find them in ordinary life; and so a description can be given in terms of concepts close to the ones we use in ordinary language. The language of quantum mechanics is based upon a duality principle ; and most of our ordinary language is equally dualistic.

Die einheitliche Beschreibung der fundamentalen Objekte und Wechselwirkungen der Natur in der Quantentheorie der Ur-Alternativen

Martin Kober

In this research work the quantum theory of Ur-alternatives of Carl Friedrich von Weizsäcker is considered. In This theory all objects and interactions in nature are constituted by abstract purely quantum logical relations in time. Such structures can be devided into binary alternatives, which are called Ur-Alternatives with respect to this principle meaning, and this leads to a tensor space of many Ur-alternatives. The indistinguishability of the Ur-alternatives yields two Hilbert spaces, the tensor space of symmetric and antisymmetric states under permutations of the Ur-alternatives. It is shown how the structures in the symmetric space can be represented in a three dimensional real position space connected to time according to special relativity. Accordingly this theory obtains ultimately a deep understanding of the EPR-paradox, since logic is independent of topological structures and causal relations in space. The antisymmetric space, which because of the Pauli principle contains much less degress of freedem, yields the additional quantum numbers of the elementary particles. Based on the demand for the highest possible symmetry in the tensor space, the Yang-Mills gauge theories of the standard model as well as a translational gauge formulation of general relativity in a purely quantum logical description are derived. The equations determine entanglements of states containing many Ur-alternatives and this concept is the analogue to classical pointwise interactions between separated objects. This means that the main structures of the SU(N)-interactions of the standard model of elementary particle physics as well as gravitation according to general relativiy are unified in a purely quantum theoretical conceptional framework. Finally it is derived an extended version of the E8-group, the biggest exceptional Lie-group.
