Quantum satellite communication is a research hotspot in the field of quantum communication, which has the characteristics of wide coverage, high communication efficiency and strong security. The construction strategy of the quantum communication network is an essential part of quantum communication. However, the construction strategy of quantum air communication network has not been studied yet so far. In this paper, according to the characteristics of flying goose array and principle of bionics, a simulated wild goose group Λ quantum air communication network topology is proposed, which can be divided into single-head node Λ type and multi-head node Λ type. Based on Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state particles, a certifiable QSDC inter-network communication system and a GHZ-EPR quantum teleportation communication system are established. The bit error rate, energy consumption, throughput, and other parameters are studied. After theoretical analysis and experimental measurement, for the single-head node Λ network structure in the environment where the average power spectral density of noise is 2 dB/m, when the communication distance between the head node and the child node is less than 400 m, the bit error rate is less than 0.094; if the communication distance increases from 400 m to 1000 m, the bit error rate increases rapidly, reaching 0.585; when the number of child nodes on one side increases from 2 to 7, the throughput decreases from 110.6 kb/s to 46.45 kb/s. For example, when the total number of nodes is 21, the single-head node Λ network structure saves 32.6% energy but reduces the throughput to 23.9 kb/s. By comparison, the multi-head node Λ network structure with 21 nodes saves 29.3% energy and achieves throughput of 163.4 kb/s. The above studies show that the quantum air network with the structure of imitation goose group array has good network scalability, excellent information security and flexible network structure.
Quantum satellite communication is a research hotspot and frontier in the field of communication. It has the advantages of ideal information security and wide coverage, which is of great significance in constructing a global quantum satellite wide area network. However, problems such as network reliability, security and routing relay still need to be improved when transmitting information over long distances. In this paper, the spider web is used as a unique natural communication topology to transform the natural spider web into an artificial spider web topology. The quantum information transmission adopts N-order quantum teleportation routing scheme, and the transmission delay is basically unchanged. On this basis, the spider web topology quantum wide area network transmission model is constructed. The bit error rate, throughput rate and security key generation rate of the network model are simulated and analyzed. Taking 9-node ring network and 9-node cobweb for example, the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis are both conducted in this paper. The results show that the cobweb topology has higher reliability. When the average power spectral density of the noise is given and there is no relay, the bit error rate increases with the transmission distance increasing, so the introduction of relay should be considered. When the transmission distance and noise power spectral density are constant, the bit error rate decreases with the number of relay nodes increasing, so the appropriate routing process should be selected in the spider web topology. With the increase of the probability of transmitting entangled photon pairs, the throughput rate gradually increases. With the increase of transmission delay in the network, the throughput rate Q gradually decreases. However, the transmission delay is basically unchanged in this routing scheme, and the transmission delay of cobweb structure is very small. Therefore, the throughput rate of the topology quantum WAN of cobweb network based on N-order quantum teleportation proposed in this paper will not significantly decrease. When the transmission distance of quantum information increases, the network key generation rate decreases gradually. With the increase of the number of network relay nodes, the key generation rate increases gradually. Thus, it can be seen that using cobweb topology and N-order quantum teleportation routing scheme to construct a quantum satellite WAN has good advantages.
In recent years, quantum-based communication is emerging as a new technique for ensuring secured communications because it can guarantee absolute security between two different remote entities. Quantum communication performs the transmission and exchange of quantum information among distant nodes within a network. Quantum key distribution (QKD) is a methodology for generating and distributing random encryption keys using the principles of quantum physics. In this paper, we investigate the techniques on how to efficiently use QKD in 3D satellite networks and propose an effective method to overcome its communications-distance limitations. In order to implement secured and reliable communications over wireless satellite links, we develop a free-space quantum channel model in satellite communication networks. To enlarge the communications distances over 3D satellite networks, we propose to employ the intermediate nodes to relay the unconditional keys and guarantee the Quantum Bit Error Rate (QBER) for security requirement over 3D satellite networks. We also propose the communication model for QKD security-Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee and an adaptive cooperative routing selection scheme to optimize the throughput performance of QKD-based satellite communications networks. The obtained simulation results verify our proposed schemes.
This work proposes a key security product and a dynamic threshold detection method to detect replay attacks during the delivery of quantum keys under non-quantum cryptography. This work discusses the security challenges of quantum key distribution (QKD) in wireless public communication networks, focusing on the need for robust measures against both quantum and non-quantum threats. QKD, based on the principles of quantum mechanics, provides a theoretically unconditionally secure method for key exchange due to the non-clonability of quantum states. Despite its potential for future communication security, QKD in wireless networks faces vulnerabilities, particularly to denial of service (DoS) attacks and eavesdropping. We focus on the openness of wireless communication, which makes QKD susceptible to interference and destruction during transmission, with DoS attacks capable of disrupting the QKD system's normal operation by consuming bandwidth with spurious signals or requests. Eavesdropping is a more nuanced threat, where an attacker may intercept wireless signals for gaining key information. To address these issues, we propose a security testing architecture and method for QKD networks. By simulating various network conditions and attacks, we analyze the changes of the detection indicator to assess network security according to an evaluation model. A dynamic threshold method based on the quantum key security protocol (QKSP) is introduced to identify network attacks, with optimal fault detection rates achieved at an eavesdropping ratio of 30% and n = 1. This work concludes by presenting a detection metric for fault detection rates to determine the system's security environment, providing a basis for judging the security of the quantum key transmission process.
Compared with classical communication, quantum communication has many advantages, which can realize absolutely safe and efficient information transmission. The research of quantum secure communication started earlier, and the technology gradually matured. At present, it is rapidly developing into networked applications, and has entered the practical and large-scale networking stage. In order to improve the resource utilization rate of the network, an optimal allocation model of quantum communication resources based on grey clustering algorithm is proposed. The author uses the grey dynamic clustering algorithm based on interval grey number to divide users into a group of clusters, and selects a node in each cluster as the cluster head, as the gateway and the relay node within the cluster, and the cluster head as the gateway within the cluster to manage the mobility of local users. It can cluster users, reduce the number of quantum communication links used when forwarding signaling messages, reduce the cost of using resources and improve network throughput. The simulation results show that the grey dynamic clustering algorithm based on interval grey number performs better when the average number of network connections is high. Under the maximum throughput criterion, compared with other schemes, the maximum system transmission rate and. Under the criterion of proportional fairness, the scheme can ensure fairness among users while maintaining relatively high system throughput.
The novel 6G-communication systems offer unparalleled opportunities in terms of reliability, speed and intelligence of the communication path. However, the characteristics of 6G network include dynamic nature and various type of nodes which make scenario more complex and open to various types of security threats such as advanced attacker and quantum attacker. As a result, this paper introduces an Adaptive Covert Communication Framework that combines quantum cryptography, and artificial intelligent-based physical layer security, and covert communication methods for secure and undetectable signal transmission. It uses the BB84 protocol for quantum key distribution and realizes the secure key rate up to 784 kbps over 10 km of quantum channel with 2 percent photon loss per kilometer. The AI models are used in real-time threat monitoring coupled with real-time reconfiguring in case of an adversarial situation, hence ensuring the detection probability of 5% during adversarial movements. Additional measures are added into the communication paradigm to ensure that the probability of interception is significantly reduced while offering a very high data rate of 1.2Gbps through frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) and signal obfuscation. The system also ensures energy efficiency with energy consumption of only 0.1 J/bit and thus has the possibility of being applied in different 6G applications. The analysis of different types of attacks demonstrates that the framework remains stable under different types of attacks such as jamming attack and quantum eavesdropping attack. The results show that the proposed framework can fit the current and future 6G security requirements to deliver efficient end-to-end protection in next-generation networks.
