Abstract

After further review and discussions among the authors, we want to do further experiment to improve the existing premature results. Specifically, authors want to add more complex analysis to support the results. Given the importance of maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, we believe that withdrawal is the most appropriate course of action. All authors are fully aware of this decision and have agreed to the withdrawal. We have had several rounds of correspondence regarding this matter, and all authors have been included in these communications to ensure transparency and prevent any potential disputes in the future.

Quantum-Ai Integration: A Systematic Review of Algorithms, Hardware Efficiency and Secure Applications

Muhammad Ubaidurrohman

Objective: This research aims to evaluate and synthesise the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies integrated with quantum computing, especially regarding processing efficiency, hardware energy efficiency, and digital communication security. Research Design & Methods: This research utilizes the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method of 13 scientific articles published in the ETRI Journal's 2024 special issue titled “Next-Gen AI and Quantum Technology.” The literature was selected based on inclusion criteria that included relevance to quantum AI, presence of experimental data, and contribution to computational efficiency. Findings: The study results show that approaches such as Quantum Reinforcement Learning and Quantum Kernel Classifiers can improve training efficiency and classification accuracy. Spiking Neural Networks technology reduced power consumption in AI-SoC and edge device designs. At the same time, the Quantum Key Distribution system demonstrated an error rate as low as 0.62% with WDM filter integration. The AONet video anomaly detection model achieves up to 97% AUC with the combination of a residual autoencoder and an attention module architecture. Implications & Recommendations: These findings indicate that quantum AI has great potential to overcome the limitations of classical computing in real-time applications and large-scale systems. However, challenges related to quantum noise, hardware stability, and integration with classical systems still need to be addressed. This research recommends strengthening hybrid infrastructure, developing interoperability standards, and utilizing multi-core architectures to support processing efficiency and data security. Contribution & Value Added: This study significantly contributes by systematically mapping existing methodologies and experiments in quantum AI, establishing a conceptual framework for future research avenues, and incorporating quantum AI technologies into industry, edge computing, and upcoming security systems

Quantum Computing in Medical Imaging

Dr Yogesh Kumar Rathore, Suman Swarnkar

Quantum computing is quickly revolutionizing medicine, promising unprecedented levels of processing, analysis, and decision-making abilities. This review discusses recent developments in applying quantum computing to medical imaging, diagnostics, and treatment planning. Quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical models have been used by researchers to show improved accuracy, speed, and scalability in medical image classification, segmentation, and disease prediction. Quantum-improved algorithms are being implemented for early detection of multifactorial diseases like cancer and neurologic disorders with potential for advancing clinical prognoses and biomarker discovery. Moreover, quantum cryptography methods are under development to enhance security for private medical information with concerns regarding expanding privacy and security risks. Improvements in quantum neural networks and adaptive hybrid quantum convolutional neural networks (CNNs) also hold promise in enhancing diagnostic efficiency and resource savings. This review synthesizes existing applications, identifies new trends, and delineates challenges and future directions of quantum computing in medicine. It underscores the importance of explainable and interpretable quantum AI systems to maintain clinical trust and utility. The results indicate that quantum technologies, although in their infancy, have transformative potential for precision medicine, personalized therapy, and sophisticated medical decision-making.
