Abstract

The power communication system provides powerful technical support for realizing the intelligent operation and information management of the power grid and improving the operation efficiency and power supply quality of the power grid. Quantum key distribution (QKD) is considered one of the most promising technologies for commercialization. QKD uses a single photon to encrypt data to produce a more secure and reliable password. This paper intends to study the hierarchical, centralized control architecture of power dispatching based on quantum essential supply (QKD). The performance indexes of MDI-QKD under symmetric and asymmetric conditions were studied by local optimization. The optimal key formation rate of the algorithm is analyzed. From the perspective of quantum critical utilization, a quantum key utilization scheme for grid backbone dispatching service is proposed. The dynamic adjustment test of multi-node time slot and service key update rate is carried out. Experiments show that the MDI scheme can effectively improve the effectiveness of a multi-node QKD system. Thus, the security of data transmission of the core business of power dispatching data networks can be ensured to the greatest extent. AMDI can effectively reduce the transmission timeout of low-priority data streams because the delay of high-priority data streams reaches the proportion. It can be an excellent solution to the power system and the password requirements.

A Study on the Application Program of Electric Power Information System Based on Quantum Communication

Wu Dong, Xu Liu, Linyu Peng +5 more

This research proposes a scheme of power information system based on quantum communication, aiming at improving the reliability and security of power service transmission. The new algorithm LD-WFQ (improved weighted fair queue) prioritizes the data packets that are about to timeout by estimating the expected time consumption of the data packets to be encrypted, so as to reduce the quantum encryption timeout rate of low priority services. The experimental results show that the LD-WFQ algorithm does not affect the performance of high priority services while reducing the ratio of overtime data packets, and shows good optimization effects under different key request rates. Compared with the traditional WFQ algorithm, the LD-WFQ algorithm has obvious advantages in meeting the requirements of power business encryption and improving the utilization rate of quantum keys, and has practical application significance.

In order to improve the security of power dispatching data transmission over the network, the combined modulation quantum key distribution system which encodes each single-photon signal with both phase modulation and polarization modulation is studied. Based on the abstract unit model of power dispatching data transmission network, the network deployment scheme of using quantum key to realize the encrypted transmission of dispatching data is elaborated. In order to better meet the needs of practical application scenarios, a quantum key allocation scheme that comprehensively considers service importance, service bandwidth, and the amount of remaining keys in the quantum key pool, a quantum key request response scheme that comprehensively considers service delay constraints, the number of service key requests and service importance, and a quantum key pool key resource supplement scheme that comprehensively considers the success rate of service encryption and the freshness of quantum keys in the quantum key pool are further designed. The scheme presented in this paper can provide a reference for the design and practical application of quantum secure communication network for power dispatching data.
