Abstract

The physical mechanism of heredity or inheritance of genes is a quantum mechanical and/or quantum computational process. A theory of bio-quantum genetics is established in this paper. Principle of Bio-quantum Genetics is suggested. I propose and define the soft-genes of genetics controlling the processes of heredity or inheritance of genes. This research deals with the quantum mechanisms of Mendel plant heredity and family inheritance as examples of bio-quantum genetics, deepening our understanding of heredity or inheritance. I believe that more contributions will be made to promote researches of bio-quantum genetics or quantum biology at large.

Bio-Quantum Evolution of the Human Brain

Jianzhong Zhao

The human brain evolves generation by generation. In the present paper I discover, by means of theoretical research into the process of gene transmitting and inheriting of a typical family (a family without loss of its any genes), that the bio-quantum computational speed (the Grover Iterations per second) of mankind increases in the human hereditary process. That means that the ability of the human brain (the central processing unit of biological information and controller of biological process of humans) to control bio-quantum computation strengthens or develops in the human hereditary process. This is the bio-quantum evolution of the human brain. Thus, this work explores the bio-quantum mechanical nature of human brain evolution.

Quantum Mechanical Mechanism of DNA Forming and Replicating

Jianzhong Zhao

DNA, deoxyribonucleic acid, carrying encoded genetic information at molecular level, is the most significant discovery in the history of genetics. Previous researches on DNA included topics of bases, base-pairing, hydrogen bonds, structure, base sequence, dynamics, replication and mutation. DNA must duplicate itself, and so DNA structure and DNA replication are the fundamental problems. Watson and Crick described the structure and the mechanism for replication of DNA. Other authors focused their studies on DNA replication. DNA molecules are micro-entities ruled by laws of quantum mechanics, but the mechanisms, found previously of DNA forming and replicating, were not explored by applying quantum mechanics. Here we show that controlled by quantum mechanics, the quantum state of DNA is a bio-quantum-entangled state, the mechanism of DNA forming and replicating is a process of bio-quantum entangling, de-entangling and re-entangling. This bio-quantum mechanical result is different from the conventional biochemical descriptions of DNA structure and replication. DNA genetics is bio-quantum genetics in nature. With this deep understanding, reform and progress should be expected for further development of genetics.

Quantum Evolution and Genetic Mutations

Hossien Hossieni

One of the important problems in quantum biology has been explained in this work. It is the main reason for genetic mutation, which is known as the origin of evolution in organisms. An approach to clarify the main reason for mutation is quantum mechanics. A brief history of genetics, new-Darwinism, and Mendelian inheritance from ancient times to the twentieth century has been presented. The meaning and location of chromosomes and genes in cells, DNA structure, the replication mechanism, the genetic code, tautomeric forms, and the application of quantum mechanics have been described. Finally, we present the importance of quantum tunnelling in playing a main role in the mutation.

Quantum Physics and the Origins of Genetic Change: A Tutorial Approach

Hossien Hossieni

This work provides a historical overview of how heredity has been understood and a key problem in quantum biology is shed light on: the role of quantum mechanics in point mutation, a cornerstone of evolution. A foundation in core genetic concepts is provided, including the meaning and location of chromosomes and genes in cells, DNA structure, the replication mechanism, the genetic code, and tautomeric forms, mutation types, natural selection, neo-Darwinism. Finally, how Heisenberg uncertainty and quantum tunneling facilitate mutation is explored.

DNA and quantum theory

Mehdi Mirzaee, Milad Falahat chian

Molecules are the basis of life. They can be considered as a quantum system. So it is necessary to enter quantum mechanics in biological discussions. In this paper we consider the DNA molecule as a quantum system. We discuss the relation between heredity, biology and DNA and quantum systems. We also find a relation between the quantum information and some bio-processes such as cell division, heredity, and cloning. Finally we conclude that in cell division, DNA-replication and cloning all information in DNA are different.

Some Properties DNA from the Point of View the Quantum Information

Mehdi Mirzaee, Milad Falahat chian

Molecules are the basis of life. They can consider as a quantum system. So it is necessary to enter quantum mechanics in biological discussion. Specifically, we should expect the quantum to be the basis for heredity, genetic, biology and DNA. In this paper we consider the DNA molecules as a quantum system. We discuss about the relation between the heredity, biology and DNA and quantum systems. We also claim that there is a relation between the quantum information and some biologicaly-process such as cell division, cloning so that we think that the root of all problems in cloning may be in the quantum effects.
