Quantum computing (QC) is the emerging technology for solving complex problems through the laws of quantum mechanism and optimized algorithms. To examine the possibilities of active cooperation across both disciplines of computer science, this article explains the core components of quantum computing and conveys some of the important features linked by quantum computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI). To make major progress with artificial intelligence, quantum computing is probably necessary. Quantum computing’s training and processing power can be used to improve AI and machine learning (ML) algorithms at a reduced cost. AI can provide quantum computers with crucial error-correcting algorithms. Several AI algorithms have been successfully applied to quantum computers; they are constrained by the computational power of conventional computers despite developing useful applications. Artificial intelligence may benefit from quantum computing’s computational boost in order to handle more challenging issues. This case study explains the importance of quantum computing, the future of QC in AI, and the different applications of quantum computing, such as AI and ML, cybersecurity and cryptography, and weather forecasting.
The result of AI and quantum computing coming together is the novel idea known as Quantum Intelligence (QI). This work explores the possible advantages of combining artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing to address difficult problems that have proven to be beyond the capabilities of conventional computer methods. This study offers a thorough grasp of the unique properties of qubits, superposition, and entanglement while examining the fundamental concepts of quantum computing. The current state of artificial intelligence is also examined, with a focus on the difficulties traditional computers have in managing the increasing complexity of computing tasks. The paper's main focus is on Quantum Intelligence, providing an explanation of how quantum algorithms might enhance machine learning procedures and improve artificial intelligence algorithms. This abstract discusses the advantages and challenges of integrating quantum computing into AI procedures, emphasizing the necessity for hybrid models and scalable algorithms. We explore the interdependent nature of quantum and classical machine learning models and show how quantum-enhanced algorithms may be able to outperform their classical counterparts in specific application domains. The conclusion of the abstract emphasizes how the development and use of open-source frameworks and tools will fuel the transformative potential of AI and quantum computing together.
The convergence of quantum computing and artificial intelligence has introduced a new paradigm in computational science known as Quantum Artificial Intelligence (QAI). By leveraging quantum mechanical principles such as superposition, entanglement, and quantum parallelism, QAI aims to overcome the limitations of classical machine learning, particularly in handling high-dimensional data, complex optimization, and scalability issues. This paper presents a comprehensive review of foundational concepts in both classical machine learning and quantum computing, followed by an in-depth discussion of emerging quantum algorithms tailored for AI applications, such as quantum neural networks, quantum support vector machines, and variational quantum classifiers. We explore the practical implications of these approaches across key sectors, including healthcare, finance, cybersecurity, and logistics. Furthermore, we identify critical challenges related to hardware limitations, algorithmic stability, data encoding, and ethical considerations. Finally, we outline research directions necessary to advance the field, highlighting the transformative potential of QAI in shaping the next generation of intelligent technologies
This paper will review the basic building blocks of quantum computing and discuss the main applications in artificial intelligence that can be addressed more efficiently using the quantum computers of today. Artificial intelligence and quantum computing have many features in common. Quantum computing can provide artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms with speed of training and computational power in less price. Artificial intelligence on the other hand can provide quantum computers with the necessary error correction algorithms. Some of the algorithms in AI that have been successfully implemented on a quantum computer, that we will present in this paper, are both unsupervised learning algorithms (clustering and Principal component analysis) and also supervised learning classification, such as support vector machines.
Quantum Artificial Intelligence (QAI) combines quantum computing with artificial intelligence (AI) to surpass the traditional barriers of classical computing systems, such as their inability to solve large-scale optimization problems or simulate complex quantum systems, which require exponentially increasing computational resources. Quantum computing, on the other hand, makes use of quantum mechanical phenomena of superposition, entanglement, and interference to process millions of data points in parallel, avoiding the exponential computation needed in many complex problems. QAI combines principles of quantum computing with AI techniques, thereby accelerating model learning. Some of the most notable applications include drug discovery in terms of exact predictions of molecular interactions, due to the enhancement of quantum simulations. There are cryptographic applications where QAI challenges classical encryption but also contains more advanced, non-breakable quantum cryptographic methods. In the same way as general advances in the field of data analysis and optimization, these domains would change: financial modeling, cybersecurity, and climate science. The biggest challenges remaining in scaling quantum hardware are noise and decoherence. Solutions will require major advances in quantum error correction, along with hybrid quantum-classical systems integrating the strengths of each. At this point, added to the list of critical concerns in the development of QAI are ethical considerations such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and transparency. But all this notwithstanding, QAI has the transformative potential to solve problems that classical AI was unable to solve and drive innovation in domains ranging from healthcare and environmental science to cryptography and beyond. Unlocking its full capabilities and overcoming the resultant technical and ethical challenges is by way of further research and collaboration.
