Abstract

In this paper, a single input multiple output (SIMO) multicasting network scheme is proposed over generalized gamma fading channels with dual-branch diversity receivers in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. The main goal of this paper is to analyze the effects of shaping parameters$\omega$and$\beta$with a number of$\theta$receivers and$\phi$eavesdroppers on the secrecy performance of the proposed scheme. The closed-form analytical expressions of the probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity (PNZSMC) and the secure outage probability for multicasting (SOPM) have been derived and verified via the monte carlo simulation. Our results revealed that the secrecy performance degrades with increasing in the shaping parameters related to eavesdropper and upgrades with increasing in the main channel shaping parameter. Secrecy performance is also greatly affected by the number of receivers and eavesdroppers. Increasing in the number of receivers and eavesdroppers, the secrecy performance degrades.

In this paper, a single input single output (SISO) scheme is proposed to analyze the security in Generalized Gamma (GG) fading channels with dual-branch selection diversity receiver in the presence of numerous eavesdroppers. The primary objective of this paper is to analyze the effects of shaping parameters ω and β with $\mathcal{S}$ number of eavesdroppers on the secrecy performance of the proposed scheme. The closed-form analytical expressions of the probability of non-zero secrecy capacity (PNZSC) and the secure outage probability (SOP) have been derived and verified with the simulation one. Our results revealed that the secrecy performance degrades with increasing in the shaping parameters related to eavesdroppers as well as increasing in the number of eavesdroppers whereas upgrades with increasing in the shaping parameter of the main channel.

Impact of Correlation on the Security in Multicasting through κ - µ Shadowed Fading Channels

Md. Najib Ibrahim, M. Z. I. Sarkar, A. S. M. Badrudduza +2 more

This paper focuse on the secrecy performance analysis over correlated κ - μ shadowed fading multicast channels considering a single input multiple output (SIMO) scenario. The proposed network consists of a single antenna source, and multiple receivers and eavesdroppers which are equipped with multiple antennas. The security analysis has been performed by developing a mathematical model and deriving the novel closed-form expressions(CFEs)of the performance matrices such as probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity (PNSMC) and secure outage probability for multicasting (SOPM). The secrecy capacity and outage characteristics of the multicast network has been investigated for the simultaneous presence of correlation and shadowing and it is observed that impact of each system parameter can be evaluated perfectly using the derived expressions. Finally, the analytical results has been verified by Monte-Carlo Simulations.

Secure Wireless Multicasting with Mixture Gamma Distribution for Generalized-K Fading Channels

Milton Kumar Kundu, M. Z. I. Sarkar, A. S. M. Badrudduza +1 more

This paper concentrates on the analysis of security performance for transmitting confidential data from a source to multiple receivers over Generalized-K fading multicasting channel in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. All the terminals are equipped with single antenna and all the channels are Generalized-K fading based on mixture gamma distribution. In order to investigate the effects of fading parameters imposed on the Generalized-K fading with mixture gamma distribution, we derive the closed-form analytical expressions for the probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity, ergodic secrecy multicast capacity and the secure outage probability for multicasting &. The derived analytical expressions are presented in terms of the fading parameters of Generalized-K fading with mixture gamma distribution so that they are helpful to understand the insight, how the security in multicasting can be enhanced adjusting the parameters of Generalized-K fading channels. Monte-Carlo Simulations have also been performed to validate the analytical results.

Secure Wireless Multicasting over α-η-µ Fading Channel

Shanmuga Priya, Milton Kumar Kundu, Zerin Nusrat +2 more

As the variation of the fading signal can be modeled at a very small scale using α-η-μ fading channel, this paper concentrates on the security performance analysis over the α-η-μ fading multicast channel considering the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. The performance metrics of probability of nonzero secrecy multicast capacity (PNSMC) and secure outage probability for multicasting (SOPM)) for this channel has been analyzed in this work. The effect of the number of receivers, eavesdroppers and total amount of atmospheric fading on the secrecy performance have also been presented by the authors. The results show tremendous improvement in secrecy performance for higher values of fading parameter and smaller number of receivers, and eavesdropper. Finally, verification of the derived closed form expressions (CFEs) for PNSMC and SOPM has been done through Monte-Carlo simulations.

Multicast Security at the Physical Layer over Hyper Gamma Fading Channel

Zerin Nusrat, Milton Kumar Kundu, Shanmuga Priya +2 more

The secrecy performance analysis over the channels is done at the physical layer to assure the confidentiality of data. In this paper, the information-theoretic security over Hyper-Gamma fading channel is investigated by constructing a single-source multiple-receiver structure in which several number of eavesdroppers are trying to overhear the transmitted information. On the basis of this assumption, the secrecy performance is addressed by deriving the closed form expressions(CFEs) of probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity (PNSMC), ergodic secrecy multicast capacity (ESMC), secure outage probability for multicasting (SOPM). Monte-Carlo Simulations are used to demonstrate the validity of the derived expressions.

Secure Outage Performance Analysis in Multicasting Wireless Networks over Composite Nakagami-Gamma Fading Channels

Mohamed Salah Ibrahim, M. Z. I. Sarkar

The importance of secrecy performance in multicast wireless networks has become paramount as 6 G networks are driving a surge in demand for secure and efficient communication across various applications. To address this challenge, this paper introduces a novel multicast network based on composite Nakagami-Gamma distribution channels, which effectively captures both small- and large-scale fading. Assume that multiple eavesdroppers are attempting to intercept confidential information from the source. To assess secrecy performnce, the analytical expressions for secrecy outage probability for multicasting, probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity, and effective secrecy throughput for multicasting are derived in terms of Meijer’s $\mathbf{G}$ function. Numerical results demonstrate that despite the detrimental effect of multiple receivers on secrecy performance, the proposed model can be secured by reducing the severity of fading in the main channel link. Finally, Monte Carlo simulations are employed to verify the accuracy of the analytical results.
