Quantum Steering of Two Tavis-Cummings Atoms with Dipole-Dipole Interaction Under Intrinsic Decoherence

Abstract

Abstract Asymmetric and hybrid steering, evaluated by entropic uncertainty inequalities between two identical atoms, is studied in the Tavis-Cummings model with dipole-dipole interaction (DDI) under intrinsic decoherence. The results show that phase decoherence stabilizes the direction during time decay. DDI coupling in the system enhances bi-directionality and stability by avoiding collapses and violations, from which the asymmetric and hybrid steering suffer, respectively. When intrinsic decoherence is introduced, the asymmetric direction becomes stationary when DDI coupling is weak. However, the hybrid direction tends to have the same characteristics when DDI coupling is strong.

INFLUENCE OF INTRINSIC DECOHERENCE ON THE ENTANGLEMENT BETWEEN TWO ATOMS IN TAVIS–CUMMINGS MODEL

Chuan-Jia Shan, W. W. Cheng, Tang-Kun Liu +3 more

Considering the dipole–dipole coupling intensity between two atoms and the field in the Fock state, the entanglement dynamics between two atoms that are initially entangled in the Tavis–Cummings model with intrinsic decoherence have been investigated. The two-atom entanglement appears with periodicity without considering intrinsic decoherence. However, the intrinsic decoherence causes the decay of entanglement between two atoms, with the decrease of the intrinsic decoherence coefficient, the entanglement will quickly become a constant value, which is affected by the two-atom initial state, the dipole–dipole coupling intensity and the field in the Fock state. Meanwhile, the two-atom quantum state will stay forever in the maximal entangled state when the initial state is proper, even in the presence of intrinsic decoherence. Furthermore, the two atoms can generate maximal entangled state even if they are initially separated by adjusting the dipole–dipole interaction, the strong coupling can improve the value of entanglement.

Entanglement evolution and Bell inequality violation of two atoms in Tavis-Cummings model with intrinsic decoherence

Guo De-Jun, Shan Chuan-Jia, Yun‐Jie Xia +1 more

Considering the interaction between two two-level atoms and a single-model field, we find an exact solution of the Milburn equation for the system. We investigate the time evolution of the entanglement between the two atoms and the maximal violation of Bell-CHSH inequality. The influence of dipole-dipole interaction and detuning between the caving and the atom on the entanglement and Bell violation is discussed. The effect of dipole-dipole interaction between two atoms on the entanglement and Bell inequality violation is obvious; with the detuning increasing, the entanglement between two atoms and Bell inequality violation becomes larger and we find that the stationary value of the entanglement between two atoms only depends on the difference between the dipole-dipole coupling intensity and the detuning. The Bell inequality violation and the entanglement does not satisfy the monotonic relation, a large Bell inequality violation may correspond to a small amount of entanglement.

Influence of intrinsic decoherence on quantum metrology of two atomic systems in the presence of dipole–dipole interaction

Abstract We study the dynamics behavior of a two atomic qubits (two two-level atoms) exposed to a dipole–dipole interaction (DDI) under rotating wave approximation (RWA). Each atom resonantly interacts with the vacuum cavity field via one-photon hopping. We assume that the two atoms and field are initially prepared in their excited state and vacuum state, respectively. An exact solution of Milburn equation is given, and then we study a non-classical statistical properties in the full range of decoherence parameters. In the absence and presence of intrinsic decoherence, the influence of dipole–dipole interaction (DDI) on the degree of entanglement between atom-field and atom-atom are evaluated through different entanglement measures, namely, von Neumann reduced entropy and concurrence, respectively. The influence of DDI on geometrical quantum discord (GQD) are discussed. Furthermore, we estimate the sensitive of the atomic system under variation of DDI parameter via the quantum Fisher information.

Dynamical protection of quantum steering and fidelity dynamics in the double Jaynes-Cummings model

Koushik Mandal, Shohini Ghose, Chitra Rangan

We investigate the dynamics of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) steering in a double Jaynes-Cummings model, where two initially entangled spatially separated two-level atoms in two cavities interact with independent cavity modes. We study how the intrinsic noise in an initial Werner-type state affects the steering dynamics in this type of quantum optical system. We also analyze the evolution of steering under experimentally relevant conditions, including atom-cavity detuning and dipole-dipole interactions. We find that both detuning and dipole-dipole coupling help reduce steering sudden death in the system. We further identify a direct correlation between steering and state fidelity, revealing a threshold below which steering disappears. This suggests that fidelity may serve as a practical indicator of steerability in cavity QED systems. Our results provide insight into the controllability and robustness of non-classical correlations in realistic light-matter platforms.

Measurement-induced disturbance between two atoms in Tavis-Cummings model with dipole--dipole interaction

张国峰, 王骁, 吕广宏

Quantum correlation, measured by measurement-induced disturbance(MID), between two two-level atoms is investigated in detail in Tavis–Cummings model with dipole–dipole interaction(DDI). We find that MID can be determined only by the dipole–dipole interaction between the two atoms when the cavity and atoms are at resonance. Moreover, DDI will have different effects on MID for two different kinds of initial states.
