Abstract

Quantum correlation, measured by measurement-induced disturbance (MID), between two two-level atoms is investigated in detail in Tavis—Cummings model with dipole—dipole interaction (DDI). We find that MID can be determined only by the dipole—dipole interaction between the two atoms when the cavity and atoms are at resonance. Moreover, DDI will have different effects on MID for two different kinds of initial states.

The influences of dipole–dipole interaction and detuning on the sudden death of entanglement between two atoms in the Tavis–Cummings model

Chen Li, Shao Xiao-Qiang, Zhang Shou

The influences of dipole-dipole interaction and detuning on the entanglement between two atoms with different initial tripartite entangled W -like states in the Tavis–Cummings model have been investigated by means of Wootters' concurrence, respectively. The results show that the entanglement between the two atoms can be enhanced via appropriately tuning the strength of dipole-dipole interaction of two atoms or the detunings between atom and cavity, and the so-called sudden death effect can be weakened simultaneously.

Measurement-induced disturbance in HeisenbergXYspin model with Dzialoshinskii—Moriya interaction under intrinsic decoherence

Cheng-Gao Shen, Guofeng Zhang, Kai-Ming Fan +1 more

Quantum correlations measured by measurement-induced disturbance (MID) in a two-qubit Heisenberg XY spin model with Dzialoshinskii—Moriya (DM) interaction under intrinsic decoherence are investigated. MID is studied under various circumstances and the influences of the external dependencies on the final quantum state which has stable MID are discussed. Two kinds of initial quantum states are considered as well as different conclusions. MID appears to decay periodically during the processing of intrinsic decoherence; both DM interaction and intrinsic decoherence have a negative impact on the correlations. The MID of the stable state depends on several factors, except the parameter of the intrinsic decoherence. Moreover, we find a special initial state that is able to maintain the maximum quantum correlations during the processing of intrinsic decoherence.

Influence of intrinsic decoherence on quantum metrology of two atomic systems in the presence of dipole–dipole interaction

Abstract We study the dynamics behavior of a two atomic qubits (two two-level atoms) exposed to a dipole–dipole interaction (DDI) under rotating wave approximation (RWA). Each atom resonantly interacts with the vacuum cavity field via one-photon hopping. We assume that the two atoms and field are initially prepared in their excited state and vacuum state, respectively. An exact solution of Milburn equation is given, and then we study a non-classical statistical properties in the full range of decoherence parameters. In the absence and presence of intrinsic decoherence, the influence of dipole–dipole interaction (DDI) on the degree of entanglement between atom-field and atom-atom are evaluated through different entanglement measures, namely, von Neumann reduced entropy and concurrence, respectively. The influence of DDI on geometrical quantum discord (GQD) are discussed. Furthermore, we estimate the sensitive of the atomic system under variation of DDI parameter via the quantum Fisher information.

Nonlocal correlation dynamics of two qubits interacting with a cavity coherent field: time-dependent atomic location effects

Mostafa Hashem, Fahad Aljuaydi, Atta Ur Rahman +1 more

Abstract This work delves into the nonlocal correlation dynamics of the maximum-Bell nonlocality (MBN), uncertainty-induced nonlocality (UIN), and concurrence of two two-level atoms having time-dependent atomic locations within Tavis-Cummings model. By considering a scenario where the pure two qubits resonantly interact with an even coherent cavity field through a two-photon transition, we explore the nonlocal correlation dynamics of both moving and stationary two-atom configurations under varying conditions and coupling parameters. Our findings reveal that the coherent cavity induces the successful generation of nonlocal correlations between atoms in both modes, with moving atoms exhibiting higher and symmetrical nonlocal correlations. Interestingly, dynamical maps showcase distinct behaviors for atoms at rest, exhibiting precocity at higher atom-cavity strengths. Moreover, equal coupling strength results in lower quantum correlations. The UIN measure emerges as the most robust quantum function, showing enhancements with sustained unequal coupling strengths, contrasting with the MBN and concurrence. These insights offer a nuanced understanding of nonlocal correlations in the Tavis-Cummings model, essential for advancing quantum information science and technology.
