Abstract

Abstract The presentation of the Quantum Effects Award 2023 will be one of the highlights during Quantum Effects, Trade Fair and Conference for Quantum Technologies, which will be held in Stuttgart on 10 and 11 October 2023. The Award recognizes outstanding innovations that connect the classical and quantum worlds, are used in different industries, enable individual services and open up new perspectives. This also applies to components that significantly advance quantum technologies and solutions.

This editorial introduces the International Conference on Quantum Innovations for Computing and Knowledge Systems (QUICK 2026). The conference provides an international forum for presenting advances in quantum computing, quantum algorithms, artificial intelligence, quantum materials, and secure communication technologies. QUICK 2026 emphasizes the convergence of quantum technologies with intelligent computing systems and realworld applications across scientific and industrial domains. All submissions were evaluated through a rigorous multi-stage review process, including desk screening and double-blind peer review, ensuring high scientific quality and research integrity. The proceedings highlight emerging breakthroughs and interdisciplinary innovations shaping the next generation of quantum-enabled computing and knowledge systems.

“We aim to provide quantum‐centric supercomputing”

Abstract In the southwest of the Stuttgart region in the state of Baden‐Wuerttemberg, the Quantum Village Ehningen has grown a lot over the past two years – this will continue in the future, with the development of completely new potential for industry, science, and society. On April 18, 2023, the Quantum AI Experience & Innovation Center “Q.AX” opened its doors during a ceremony at the former IBM site in Ehningen, attended by minister‐president Winfried Kretschmann.

Quantum Physics and Nuclear Engineering

related areas, ordered algebraic, category-theoretic structures +1 more

The conference brings together researchers working on mathematical foundations of quantum physics, quantum computing, and related areas, with a focus on structural perspectives and the use of logical tools, ordered algebraic and category-theoretic structures, formal languages, semantically methods, and other computer science techniques applied to the study of physical behaviour in general. Work that applies structures and methods inspired by quantum theory to other fields (including computer science) is also welcome. With members from around the world focused on Quantum physics and Nuclear Engineering this is your best opportunity to reach the largest assemblage of participants from the universities, colleges, research centres, societies, institutions, labs, associations, communities and companies etc. We want to make a worldwide meet in which data between researchers from the different controls can be effectively traded. The explanation behind bringing the general population at the meetings together is to catalyse empowering trades and connections between experts in different fields, from physical science to engineering. It will make new interdisciplinary systems and permit members to trade know-how and data to accomplish speedier and better results.
