Abstract

Abstract The quantum decoherence is an ineluctable process when a quantum system interacts with its surrounding environment. Milburn’s dynamical master equation, as a modified shape of the Schrödinger equation, is typically used to study the effects decoherence even without intervention of environment. We studied the temporal evolution of non-local correlations in a dipolar-coupled spin system under the influence of intrinsic decoherence. Primarily, the generation in correlations of Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen steering, measurement-induced non-locality (MIN) and entanglement in an uncorrelated initial system state were studied. Also, the effect of the intrinsic decoherence on the quality of the dense coding capacity dynamics for the dipolar-coupled spin system was examined. Our results highlight that the initial system’s role in defining the quantum correlations’ robustness, and we also brought out the impacts of system’s parameters on the non-local correlations and the efficiency of dense coding process

Effects of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and intrinsic decoherence on quantum dense coding via a two-qubit Heisenberg spin system

Zou Qin, Hu Xiao-Mian, Liu Jin-Ming

By solving the Milburn equation, we investigate the properties of optimal channel capacity for the quantum dense coding via a two-qubit Heisenberg spin system with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction in the presence of intrinsic decoherence. The influences of different DM interactions, different initial states, anisotropic coupling parameters, and intrinsic decoherence on optimal coding capacity are analyzed in detail. It is found that the initial state of the system affects optimal coding capacity greatly, whose dependent parameters are not identical for different types of initial states. When the system is initially in the form of the nonmaximally entangled state cft| {01} ightangle + dft| {10} ightangle , a weak z-component DM interaction can enhance the value of optimal coding capacity as compared with the value without DM interaction, and the phase decoherence effect can suppress the oscillation of optimal coding capacity and make the capacity decrease to a stable value for the long-time evolution. It is also found that under the influence of intrinsic decoherence, the optimal transmission capacity of dense coding can keep an ideal maximal value of 2 by choosing the proper initial maximally entangled state. Moreover, no matter from which direction the DM interaction is introduced, the optimal coding capacity via the two-qubit Heisenberg spin system is always larger than the transmission capacity of any classical communication.

Signatures of intrinsic decoherence and weak measurement on quantum correlations

S. Bhuvaneswari, R Muthuganesan, R. Radha

Abstract In this article, we consider a pair of spin-1/2 particles with squeezing coupling serving as the physical carrier of quantum information. We then examine the dynamics of quantum correlation quantified by the entanglement and measurement-induced nonlocality (MIN) under the intrinsic decoherence. The impact of intrinsic decoherence on the dynamical behaviors of quantum correlations is investigated. We show that the MIN quantities are more robust, while intrinsic decoherence cause sudden death in entanglement. Besides, we highlight the role of spin squeezing coupling and external magnetic field on quantum correlation measures. Finally, we investigate the impact of weak measurement on MIN.

Decoherence of steerability and coherence dynamics induced by nonlinear qubit–cavity interactions

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Abdullah M. Alsahli

Abstract In this study, we have applied the intrinsic decoherence (ID) model of the Milburn equation to investigate the temporal evolution of various quantum resources (steerability, entanglement, and coherence) in the generated dipole-coupled two-qubit states. Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen steering, EOF, and Jensen–Shannon divergence are used to analyze these quantum resources. We consider two dipole-coupled qubit interacting with two spatially separated cavities with nonlinear photonic transitions, filled with a superposition of generalized Barut–Girardello coherent fields. The exploration of steerability, entanglement, and coherence has been carried out by considering the nonlinearity of qubit–cavity interactions, the nonclassicality of the superposition of Barut–Girardello coherent fields, the dipole–dipole coupling, and the ID of qubit–cavity interactions. Our results show that the nonlinearity of qubit–cavity interactions, the initial generalized Barut–Girardello coherent states, and the qubit–cavity detuning significantly enhance the generation of quantum steerability, entanglement, and coherence. The dynamics of entanglement and steerability are consistent with the hierarchy principle. The ID effect reduces the amplitudes and frequencies of the generated quantum resources to their stationary values. It is found that the phenomena of sudden steerability arising and sudden annihilation of entanglement are influenced by the initial non-classicality, dipole coupling, and intrinsic qubit–cavity decoherence. Moreover, the strong decoherence and dipole coupling significantly enhance the steady-state values of steerability, entanglement, and coherence.

Quantum correlations dynamics of dipolar-coupled spin systems subject of a common dephasing noisy channels

A. Elamraoui, L. Jebli, Mohammed Daoud A

We address the dynamics of quantum coherence, quantum correlations, quantum steering and Bell nonlocality in a model of two interacting qubits, initially prepared in a thermal state. The two qubit are coupled via a dipolar interaction and exposed to Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction and classical fluctuating fields influenced by Ornstein–Uhlenbeck (OU)-Static (ST) mixed noise in common environments. We analyse the dynamics effects on quantum resources, as Bell nonlocality, quantum steering, quantum entanglement, quantum discord and quantum coherence. We find that the dynamics of quantum correlations are not only strongly affected by the type of system-environment coupling but also by the kind of the considered noise. The entanglement diminution is over time, accompanied by damped oscillations, indicative of coherent dynamics. The DM interaction induces a decrease in quantum coherence and correlations with increasing values, leading to complete maximizing at critical thresholds. The effects of thermal effects destroy the quantum correlation. The variations in state noise disorder parameters reveal enhanced preservation and reduced oscillations as the noise disorder parameter decreases, emphasizing its crucial role in shaping quantum correlations.

Abstract Quantum entanglement is a special nonlocal association between quantum systems. It is a fundamental feature of the difference between quantum and classical. At the same time, it acts as a very important resource in quantum informatics. Therefore, entanglement plays a noble role in quantum information and quantum computing. Quantum dense coding, as an application of quantum entanglement in practice, is a quantum communication protocol characterized by security and secrecy, which plays a very important role in quantum informatics and cryptography. This paper is mainly in the Non-Markovian environment of Heisenberg Spin chain system, using the quantum dense coding scheme proposed by Bennett et al. to study The dynamics of quantum dense coding channel capacity evolution with time and the entanglement dynamics of the system are discussed in detail.Based on the theoretical knowledge of open quantum systems and the maximum entangled state \(\left| {{{\mathbf{\psi }}_{{\mathbf{AB}}}}} \right\rangle =\frac{1}{{\sqrt 2 }}\left( {\left| {11} \right\rangle +\left| {00} \right\rangle } \right)\) as the initial state, the density matrix of the system evolution over time is obtained by quantum state diffusion method, and the evolution of channel capacity and entanglement over time of Heisenberg spin chains is simulated accurately. The results show that: the capacity and entanglement of dense coded channel oscillate with time and reach different stable values. Environmental correlation coefficient\(\gamma\)and coupling strength\(\eta\)and a play an important role in dense coding and quantum entanglement of quantum systems.Proper selection of parameters can keep the system good entanglement characteristics and increase the channel capacity\(\chi\)of the system, thus ensuring the effective transmission and processing of quantum information in practice. Effects of intrinsic decoherence on discord-like correlation measures of two-qubit spin squeezing model

Venkat Abhignan, R Muthuganesan

Abstract Quantum decoherence happens when the system interacts with the environment. Quantum correlation behaviours in the two-qubit spin squeezing model are studied under the influence of intrinsic decoherence. Quantitative results were determined, which depend on parameters of the physical system by checking different quantifiers of quantum correlation such as entanglement, local quantum uncertainty, trace distance discord and uncertainty-induced quantum nonlocality. We show that the entanglement suffers from intrinsic decoherence and exhibits sudden death, whereas the other measures are more robust against intrinsic decoherence. Further, we highlight the role of spin squeezing coupling constant and magnetic field.
