Abstract

We study the interaction of a three two-level atoms (3-2LA) with a one-mode op?tical coherent field in coherent state in the presence of non-linear Kerr medium. The three atoms are initially prepared in upper and entangled states while the field mode is in a coherent state. The constants of motion, 3-2LA and field density matrix are obtained. The analytic results are employed to perform some investigations of the temporal evolution of the von Neumann entropy as measure of the degree of entanglement between the 3-2LA and optical coherent field. The effect of the detuning and the initial atomic states on the evolution of geometric phase and en?tanglement is analyzed. Also, we demonstrate the link between the geometric phase and non-classical properties during the evolution time. Additionally the effect of detuning and initial conditions on the Mandel parameter is studied. The obtained results are emphasize the impact of the detuning and the initial atomic states of the feature of the entanglement, geometric phase and photon statistics of theoptical coherent field.

Entanglement of a general formalism Λ-type three-level atom interacting with a non-correlated two-mode cavity field in the presence of nonlinearities

A.‐S. F. Obada, A. A. Eied, G. M. Abd Al-Kader

We investigate the evolution of the atomic quantum entropy and the atom–field entanglement in a system of a Λ-configuration three-level atom interacting with a two-mode field with additional forms of nonlinearities of both the field and the intensity-dependent atom–field coupling. With the derivation of the unitary operator within the frame of the dressed state and the exact results for the state of the system we perform a careful investigation of the temporal evolution of the entropy. A factorization of the initial density operator is assumed, considering the field to be initially in a non-correlated two-mode squeezed coherent or binomial state. The effects of the mean photon number, detuning, Kerr-like medium and the intensity-dependent coupling functional on the entropy are analysed.

A nonlinear quantum scheme of a single mode optical field and a four-level atom under energy dissipation effect

Bahaaudin Mohammadnoor Raffah, K. Berrada, Eied Mahmoud Khalil +1 more

Abstract In this interferometry the geometrical phase, von-Neumann entropy, and non-classical features of a field interacting with a four-level moving atom in the presence of a Kerr medium were investigated. We highlight the influence of intensity-dependent coupling and energy dissipation to examine the temporal behavior of the geometrical phase, the statistical properties of the field as well as the von-Neumann entropy. The results show that the evolution of system dynamics, atomic von-Neumann entropy, and geometrical phase are strongly influenced by the Kerr medium, field mode structure, and atomic motion. Using empirically available parameters, we test this result, and many new items are discovered.

Entanglement in a system of a three-level atom interacting with a single-mode field in the presence of arbitrary forms of the nonlinearity and of the atomic initial state

A.‐S. F. Obada, Sadek Ahmed Hanoura, A. A. Eied

The interaction of a three-level atom in the V -configuration with a single-mode field under the mechanism of a multi-photon transition is studied. Influences of different possible choices of the atomic initial state, the mean photon number, the nonlinearity of the Kerr-like medium and the detuning parameters within various forms of the intensity-dependent atom–field couplings on the von Neumann entropy are analyzed. Simple analytical expressions of the unitary time evolution and density operators in the context of the framework of the dressed states are derived. General conclusions reached are illustrated by numerical results.
