In this paper, we experimentally demonstrate collisions between two copropagating parallel coherent beams inside the photorefractive semiconductor iron doped indium phosphide (InP:Fe) at λ=1064 nm.

Experimental measurements about photorefractive (PR) collisions between self-trapped beams in iron doped Indium phosphide (Fe:InP) are reported. Fusion and repulsion between two copropagating parallel beams with λ=1064nm will be analysed taking into account the effects of temperature, light intensity and external electric field on the trapping processes.
