Abstract

In order to enable two parties to exchange their secret information equally, we propose a controlled quantum dialogue protocol based on quantum walks, which implements the equal exchange of secret information between the two parties with the help of the controller TP. The secret information is transmitted via quantum walks, by using this method, the previously required entangled particles do not need to be prepared in the initial phase, and the entangled particles can be produced spontaneously via quantum walks. Furthermore, to resist TP’s dishonest behavior, we use a hash function to verify the correctness of the secret information. The protocol analysis shows that it is safe and reliable facing some attacks, including intercept-measure-resend attack, entanglement attack, dishonest controller’s attack and participant attack. And has a slightly increasing efficiency comparing with the previous protocols. Note that the proposed protocol may be feasible because quantum walks prove to be implemented in different physical systems and experiments.

Quantum Secret Sharing Scheme with Credible Authentication based on Quantum Walk

Xue-Yang Li, Yan Chang, Shibin Zhang

Based on the teleportation by quantum walk, a quantum secret sharing scheme with credible authentication is proposed.Using the Hash function and quantum local operation, combined with the two-step quantum walks circuit on the line, the identity authentication and the teleportation of the secret information in distribution phase are realized.Participants collaborate honestly to recover secret information based on particle measurement results, preventing untrusted agents and external attacks from obtaining useful information.Due to the application of quantum walk, the sender does not need to prepare the necessary entangled state in advance, simply encodes the information to be sent in the coin state, and applies the conditional shift operator between the coin space and the position space to produce the entangled state necessary for quantum teleportation.Security analysis shows that the protocol can effectively resist intercept/resend attacks, entanglement attacks, participant attacks, and impersonation attacks. In addition, the quantum walk circuit used has been implemented in many different physical systems and experiments, so this quantum secret sharing scheme may be achievable in the future.

Verifiable quantum secret sharing protocol based on lattice walking

Zi-Chang Xie, Chen‐Ming Bai, Su-Juan Zhang +1 more

A verifiable quantum secret sharing protocol using quantum walks on a lattice is proposed in this paper. The protocol utilizes generalized Bell states as the initial quantum resource, integrating the quantum walk evolution operator U with the global shift operator \(G_{ab}\) to facilitate joint encrypted transmission among multiple participants. A bidirectional identity authentication mechanism based on hash functions is introduced to ensure the legitimacy of all communication parties, which effectively resists impersonation attacks. Random decoy particles are randomly prepared in either the \(Z_{d}\) or \(X_{d}\) basis and inserted into the transmission sequence, enabling real-time eavesdropping detection on the quantum channel. In the secret reconstruction phase, a public verification mechanism is designed to allow participants to verify the correctness of the recovered secret and identify internal dishonest behaviors. Security analysis demonstrates that the protocol achieves information-theoretic security, resisting typical external attacks such as intercept-resend, measure-resend, and entangle-measure attacks, as well as collusion attacks from dishonest internal participants. Compared with existing quantum-walk-based secret sharing schemes, the proposed protocol maintains high qubit efficiency while supporting both identity authentication and public verifiability, thus possessing stronger practicality and security.

Multi-particle-based multi-party controllable quantum secure dialogue

Xiao-Xue Zhang, Ri‐Gui Zhou, Wen-Shan Xu

Abstract Based on the six-particle entangled state, this paper proposes a multi-party controllable quantum secure dialogue protocol, where the dialogue parties only need to perform single operation to efficiently encode secret information and embed the control information into a fixed particle sequence in order, ensuring the orderly transmission of information. Additionally, the protocol introduces a unique honesty detection mechanism, which relies on the classical XOR relationship of three qubits in a GHZ-like state, effectively guaranteeing the credibility of the controllers. The protocol allows two dialogue parties to synchronously obtain secret information with the permission of all controllers, without relying on additional classical channel, greatly enhancing communication efficiency and security. Through rigorous security analysis, it is proven that the protocol can effectively resist various potential attacks from both internal and external sources.

Controlled quantum dialogue scheme based on different unspecific two-particle entangled state

Aihan Yin, Weibin Lin, Ping Fan

In this paper, a controlled quantum dialogue (CQD) scheme based on different unspecific two-particle entangled state is proposed, in which legitimate users can exchange their secret messages according to unitary operations they chose and measurement results published by Charlie, realizing transmitting unspecific secrets by using unspecific entangled state. We insert decoy particles twice and get rid of useless secret messages carried by F particles to ensure security of the whole communication system, realizing the three-times channel detection. Compared to previous CQD protocols, the proposed scheme is proved to stand attack from third-party controller, and it is very secure.

Semi-quantum dialogue scheme based on hyperentangled Bell states

Guo-Fang Shi

Abstract Quantum dialogue enables two communicators to send their own secret information to each other, but most of the current quantum dialogue protocols have high requirements for the hardware equipment and capabilities of the communicators. In order to reduce the cost of participant, a semi-quantum dialogue scheme based on hyperentangled Bell states is studied in this paper. In our protocol, we combines the idea of semi-quantum key distribution and semi-quantum secure direct communication to realize the exchange of secret information between Alice and Bob, Alice’s information is transmitted to Bob through semi-quantum secure direct communication, while Bob’s message is extracted by Alice through semi-quantum key distribution and one-time pad encryption. This is different from the previous semi-quantum dialogue protocols, and is a new way of thinking. The security analysis shows that our protocol can not only resist the conventional attack strategies, but also has not the drawback of ‘information leakage’ problem. Compared with the existing semi-quantum dialogue protocols, it has some advantages, such as high communication efficiency, saving classical participant’s consumption and security. Although this protocol requires the preparation and analysis of hyperentangled Bell state, which are slightly more complex, it will be shown that all these are achievable by current technology. Our protocol is fully implementable, so it has good application prospects.

Three-party quantum secure direct communication base on Partially Entangled States

Xiujuan Zhang, Shu-Cui Xie, Dong Wang

In this paper, we point out Partially Entangled States quantum dialogue, which enables both legitimate parties to exchange their 2 bit secret messages in a direct way. Two step security check guarantees the security of this protocol. Partially Entangled States used as information carrier are easy to prepare and store, there is no need to transmit quantum states with secret message in quantum channel and two users can simultaneously communicate with the third party. The protocol is secure against the intercept-resend attack and the entangle-measure attack.
