Local Quantum Measurement Demands Type-Sensitive Information Principles for Global Correlations.

Edwin Peter Lobo, Sahil Gopalkrishna Naik, Samrat Sen +3 more

Physical theories with local structure similar to quantum theory can allow beyond-quantum global states that are in agreement with unentangled Gleason's theorem. In a standard Bell experiment any such bipartite state produces correlations that are always quantum simulable. In this limited classical-input-classical-output Bell scenario, we show that there exist bipartite beyond-quantum states that produce correlations all of which are in-fact classically simulable. However, if the type of Bell scenario is generalized to consider quantum states as inputs, we then show that any such bipartite beyond-quantum state yields beyond-quantum input-output correlations. We also analyze the implication of this quantum input scenario while studying generic multipartite correlations obtained from local quantum theory but potentially allowing different global structure. Our study suggests the requirement of type sensitive information principles for isolating the quantum correlations from the beyond-quantum ones.

New exact quasi-classical asymptotic beyond WKB approximation and beyond Maslov formal expansion

Jaykov Foukzon, Менькова Елена Романовна, Alexander A. Potapov +1 more

New exact quasi-classical asymptotic of solutions to the n -dimensional Schrödinger equation beyond WKB-theory and beyond Maslov's canonical operator theory is presented. Quantum jump nature is considered successfully. We pointed out that an explanation of quantum jumps can be found to result from Colombeau solutions of the Schrödinger equation alone without additional postulates. Such jumps, does not depend on any single measurement of particle position q ( t ) at instant t and completely obtained only from Schrodinger equation, without reference to any phenomenological master-equation of Lindblad form.

Born's rule for momentum measurement from prequantum field theory

Andrei Yu. Khrennikov

Recently a new attempt to go beyond quantum mechanics (QM) was done in the form of so called prequantum classical statistical field theory (PCSFT). In this approach QM is considered as incomplete theory – in total accordance with Einstein [1]. PCSFT is (one of possible) completions of QM. Hidden variables are given by classical fields. (It is again in accordance with Einstein.) These prequantum fields fluctuate on time and space scales which are essentially finer than scales of QM, cf. 't Hooft's attempt to go beyond QM [2, 3]. However opposite to Einstein, PCSFT does not assign results of quantum observations directly to hidden variables. Bohr's idea that the whole experimental arrangement should be taken into account is basic for PCSFT-based measurement theory. This theory for measurements of momentum of quantum particles is presented in this paper.
