Abstract

We present a scheme for transferring quantum information, which is based on the nonresonant interaction of two two_level atoms with a single_mode cavity field. We show that quantum information can be transferred from one atom to another atom, and from cavity mode to two atoms by manipulating the interactions between cavity field and two atoms, and the information contained in the transferred atom or cavity mode is completely erased.

A scheme is presented for transferring quantum information based on interaction between Jaynes-Cummings model with large detuning and two two-level atoms. It can be shown that quantum information can be transferred from one atom to the other atom, or from the cavity mode to the two atoms by manipulating the interactions between cavity field and two atoms, and the information contained in the transferring atom or cavity mode is completely erased.

We present a method to swap information between atomic states by manipulating the interaction time between a quantum cavity field and two two-level atoms. We show that quantum information carried by one atom can be transferred onto the state of the second atom.

Transferring atomic entangled states with a nonresonant atom-field interaction

Xia-Ping Jiang

A scheme is proposed for transferring two-atom entangled state and W state. It is based on the simultaneous nonresonant interaction of two atoms with a single-mode cavity field.During the transferring process, the atoms do not transfer quantum information with the cavity. The cavity is only virtually excited and thus the requirement on the quality factor of the cavity is greatly loosened.Atomic entangled state can be directly transferred to the atoms of receiver without performing any measurement. The successful probability is 100 percent.

A Scheme for Transferring Quantum Information via Cavity QED

Tao Wu, Juan He, NI Zhi-xiang

In this paper,we propose a scheme for transferring of a two-atom product state via cavity QED.This proposal is based on atomcavity field interaction with a large detuning and does not require the transfer of quantum information between the atoms and the cavity. Thus the scheme is insensitive to cavity field states and cavity decay. In addition, the scheme does not require Bell-state measurement and the transfer of the scheme can be achieved with 100% success probability in a simple manner. And the scheme can also be extended to transfer product state of n-atom.

An Alternative Scheme for Transferring Quantum States and Preparing a Quantum Network in Cavity QED

Zhen‐Biao Yang, Wan-Jun Su

An alternative scheme is proposed to transfer quantum states and prepare a quantum network in cavity QED. It is based on the interaction of a two-mode cavity field with a three-level ∨-type atom. In the scheme, the atom-cavity field interaction is resonant, thus the time required to complete the quantum state transfer process is greatly shortened, which is very important in view of decoherence. Moreover, the present scheme does not require one mode of the cavities to be initially prepared in one-photon state, thus it is more experimentally feasible than the previous ones.

Scheme to transfer an atomic entangled state in cavity QED

NI Zhi-xiang

We present a scheme for transferring an unknown atomic entangled state via atom-cavity field interaction. This proposal, which has success probability of unit,is mainly employing two atoms for receiving the teleported state, and a two-mode cavity as the quantum channel. The two modes of the cavity have different frequencies and polarizations. So the two modes are distinguished by their frequencies and their orthogonal polarizations, hence they occupy distinct regions in the cavity. The atom interacts resonantly with the mode of the cavity according to the Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonian, and when interaction between the atom and one of the two modes takes place, the other mode remains unaffected. This scheme does not require Bell-state measurement and any operations to reconstruct the initial state. This scheme can also be extended to transfer entangled state of N-atom.
