Abstract

This paper studies the dynamic effects of the driven external classical field on a system consists of a single two-level atom that interacted locally with a vibrating graphene membrane and a cavity field. The temporal wave function containing the tripartite interaction statuses via a canonical transformation and new resonance conditions is obtained. The possibility of studying the optimal behaviour of the quantum coherence and non-classicality for the graphene-field, atom-field, and atom-graphene states are investigated. It is found that the upper and lower bounds of the two phenomena depend on the detuning parameter, coupling strength of atom-graphene interaction, and initial atomic state. Based on the support of numerical computations, we demonstrate how to control the quantum system by the vibrating graphene membrane and the driven classical field.

Visualization of the interaction dynamics between a two-level atom and a graphene sheet covered by a laser field

Adel Bandar Alruqi, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, S. Abdel‐Khalek +1 more

This study investigates the detection of two discrete quantum phenomena arising from the interaction between a single two-level atom, SU(1,1)quantum systems, and a graphene membrane in the presence of a laser field. We employ quantum skew information and second-order Rényi entropy as measures to discern non-classicality and entropy, respectively. Two distinct scenarios are considered addressing the system: first, when atomic frequency significantly surpasses laser coupling; second, when the atomic frequency is considerably lower than classical laser coupling. In the former case, both phenomena hinge upon initial preparation conditions for the SU(1,1)coherent cavity, whereas, in the second scenario, the non-classicality and entropy are influenced by the coherent graphene. Notably, we find that the detuning parameter enhances the information of the composite system when the intensities of the coherent cavity and graphene membrane are substantial.

Entanglement of a cavity with a three-level atom and a graphene membrane in the presence of a laser field

This paper examines the entanglement and coherence of a hybrid quantum system in the presence of an external laser field. The hybrid system is composed of a single-mode cavity field containing a vibrating graphene membrane and a superconducting qutrit in a cascade configuration. Specifically, we investigate how the coupling of qutrit-graphene, detuning parameters, and external field coupling affects different measures, such as negativity tangle, algebraic tangle, geometric tangle, and the l1 norm of coherence. Our results demonstrate that the upper bounds of tangle measures and coherence decrease with increasing the detuning parameters. The external field amplifies the detrimental impact caused by detuning. Furthermore, heightened qutrit-graphene coupling elevates the maximum bounds of tangle and coherence quantifiers, while also increasing the frequency of oscillations.

Influence of an External Classical Field on a ♢ Four-Level Atom Inside a Quantized Field

Eied Mahmoud Khalil, Hanaa Abu-Zinadah, Mahmoud Youssef Abd‐Rabbou

In this paper, we study the effect of detuning parameters and driven external classical field parameters on a quantum system consisting of a ♢-configuration four-level atom inside a quantized cavity field. Under some canonical conditional of dressed states, the exact solution of the Schrödinger equation is obtained. The occupation of atomic levels and statistical population inversion is studied. Our results show that the classical field parameter dissolved the collapse periods and increased the maximum bounds of the upper state, while decreasing the lower bounds of the lower state. The detuning parameters reduce the minimum bounds of atomic levels and their inversion. On the other hand, the linear entropy and l1 norm of coherence are employed to measure the temporal evolution of the mixedness and coherence. It is found that the driven classical field improves the temporal evolution of the mixedness and lower bounds of coherence. However, the detuning parameters have a destructive effect on the mixedness and lower bounds of coherence. The intensity of the external classical field is regarded as a control parameter with different values of detuning parameters.

Depiction of an external classical field effects on a four-level W-configuration atom embedded in a coherent cavity field

S. I. Ali

Abstract This paper examines the dynamics of a W-configuration four-level atom in a quantized cavity field and the system driven by an external classical field. By applying some canonical transformations, we derive analytical solutions to the Schrödinger equation for the corresponding Hamiltonian. We have analyzed the impact of the external field and detuning parameters on the system’s relative entropy of coherence, Wigner function, and Pancharatnam phase. Our findings suggest that the external field parameter greatly affects the coherence of the system, whereas the detuning parameters may increase its maximum bounds. Furthermore, we have utilized the Wigner function as a tool to measure the quantumness and classicality of the system in its phase space. Our results indicate that the external field has a greater impact on the classicality of the system than the detuning parameters. Additionally, we have observed rapid oscillations in the dynamics of the Pancharatnam phase for large detuning values. It is worth noting that the external field reduces the number of phase jumps in the system.

Atom–atom entanglement dynamics enhancement via classically driven atoms coupled to a non-resonance single mode cavity field filled with nonlinear Kerr media

M. S. Ateto

Entanglement dynamics of two identical non-interacting atoms (qubits) coupled individually with simultaneous classical and quantum fields are studied. The cavity field is filled with a nonlinear Kerr medium and initially prepared in a coherent state. The atoms are initially set up as a Bell-like pure state (BS). We present an approach for diagonalization of time-dependent nonlinear Hamiltonian of the system exactly. Connection between the change in the degree of entanglement and tomography of field state in phase space are also illustrated and interpreted. We demonstrate the possibility of atom–atom (qubit–qubit) entanglement optimization by suitably choosing initial interaction settings. Overall, we show that both classical driving amplitude and detuning as well as Kerr media and initial atomic states acts as the control parameters for the qubit–qubit entanglement. By adjusting of these parameters, accurately, entanglement can be enhanced noticeably and high degree of steady periodical entanglement can be generated. Moreover, starting with initial atomic BSs in presence of classical driving suppresses coherences randomness and considerably accompanied with (for specific values of detuning) slight decrease in their amplitudes. Furthermore, the addition of cross Kerr term suppresses degree of entanglement noticeably, where entanglement creation and enhancement could just be possible if cross Kerr effect is moved out from interaction. Our present approach promises the great advantage of being suitable for large quantum systems of various kinds of nonlinearities.

Quantum control and quantum chaos in cavity QED

Michael Yu. Uleysky, Sergei V Prants

Nonlinear dynamics in the fundamental interaction between a two-level atom with recoil and a quantized radiation field in a high-quality cavity is studied. We consider the strongly coupled atom-field system as a quantum-classical hybrid with dynamically coupled quantum and classical degrees of freedom. It is shown that at given initial conditions the regime of atomic motion is governed mainly by the detuning of the atom-field resonance /spl delta/. We show that, even in the absence of any other interaction with environment, the interaction of a purely quantum atom-field system with the external atomic degree of freedom provides the emergence of classical dynamical chaos from quantum electrodynamics (QED). It manifest itself in the classical degree of freedom as a random walking of an atom inside the cavity and in the quantum degrees of freedom as a sensitive dependence of atomic inversion on small variations in initial conditions. It is shown that dependence of variance of entanglement on /spl delta/, correlates strongly with the dependence of maximum Lyapunov exponent on /spl delta/. This result provides a quantum-classical correspondence in a closed physical system.
