We study a quantum system of coupled oscillators subject to a periodic excitation of its parameters. Using Floquet-Lyapunov theory we derive the linear integrals of motion of the system and relate their covariance matrix to that for the canonical observables. The operator integrals allows us to construct the intelligent (minimum uncertainty) states of the system and the corresponding photon-added states. We found explicit expressions for the wavefunction, Wigner function and covariance matrix of these states.
The statistical properties of systems of coupled quantum-mechanical harmonic oscillators are analyzed. The Hamiltonian for the system is assumed to be an inhomogeneous quadratic form in the creation and annihilation operators, and is allowed to have an explicit time dependence. The relationship to classical theory is emphasized by expressing pure states in terms of the coherent-state vectors, and density operators by means of the
P representation and an analogous representation involving the Wigner function. The state which evolves from an initially coherent state of the system is found, and equations governing the time evolution of the Wigner function and the weight function for the
P representation are derived, in differential and integral form, for arbitrary initial states of the system. The results remain valid for couplings which do not preserve the vacuum state, and for cases in which the time dependence of the coupling parameters gives rise to large-scale amplification of the initial field intensities. The analysis is performed by first treating general linear inhomogeneous canonical transformations on the oscillator variables, and then specializing to the case in which these transformations represent the solutions for the Heisenberg operators in terms of their initial values. The results are illustrated within the context of a model of parametric amplification.
Photon distribution function, means and dispersions are found explicitly for the nonclassical state of light which is created from the photon--added coherent state
∣α,m⟩ due to a time--dependence of the frequency of the electromagnetic field oscillator. Generating function for factorial momenta is obtained. The Wigner function and Q--function are constructed explicitly for the excited photon--added coherent state of light. Influence of added photons on known oscillations of photon distribution function for squeezed light is demonstrated. oscillator are considered.
We investigate the quantum entanglement dynamics of two coupled harmonic oscillators with a time-dependent interaction. Using the Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant method, we derive the exact analytical wave functions without any perturbative or adiabatic approximations and combine this with a phase-space analysis using the Wigner function to provide a complete description of the system's quantum state evolution. We obtain general expression form for the purity and the linear entropy

ε: the increase of detuning takes the system from slow irregular oscillations to fast and regular periodic behavior, and the stronger coupling systematically enhances both the amplitude and the average value of the linear entropy. Most importantly, for the resonance case
ω1=ω2=1 and strong couplings
ε≈0.99, the system shows robust undamped synchronized periodic oscillations of the linear entropy for all quantum states considered, indicating preserved quantum coherence without saturation. Our findings demonstrate that linear entropy is a sensitive and practical entanglement witness, and we establish explicit analytical relations between the coupling parameters of the system and its entanglement properties, which are directly relevant to quantum information processing and the control of quantum correlations in continuous-variable systems.
Integrals of motion and statistical properties of quantized electromagnetic field (e.-m. field) in time-dependent linear dielectric and conductive media are considered, using Choi-Yeon quantization, based on Caldirola-Kanai type Hamiltonian. Eigenstates of quadratic and linear invariants are constructed, the solutions being expressed in terms of a complex parametric function that obeys classical oscillator equation with time-varying frequency. The time evolutions of initial Glauber coherent states and Fock states are considered. The medium conductivity and the time-dependent electric permeability are shown to generate squeezing and non-vanishing covariances. In the time-evolved coherent and squeezed states all the second statistical moments of the electric and magnetic field components are calculated and shown to mminimize the Robertson-Schrödinger uncertainty relation.
Abstract We consider the relations between nonstationary quantum oscillators and their stationary counterpart in view of their applicability to study particles in electromagnetic traps. We develop a consistent model of quantum oscillators with time-dependent frequencies that are subjected to the action of a time-dependent driving force, and have a time-dependent zero point energy. Our approach uses the method of point transformations to construct the physical solutions of the parametric oscillator as mere deformations of the well known solutions of the stationary oscillator. In this form, the determination of the quantum integrals of motion is automatically achieved as a natural consequence of the transformation, without necessity of any ansätz. It yields the mechanism to construct an orthonormal basis for the nonstationary oscillators, so arbitrary superpositions of orthogonal states are available to obtain the corresponding coherent states. We also show that the dynamical algebra of the parametric oscillator is immediately obtained as a deformation of the algebra generated by the conventional boson ladder operators. A number of explicit examples is provided to show the applicability of our approach.
