Abstract

Quantum technology has advanced and has found its application in various fields. Research efforts are been made in realization of quantum networks which would enable transmission of quantum information in terms of qubits. Qubit transmission has unique challenges due to quantum properties. This study proposes to use CNOT gates for qubit transmission, and also based on the discussion and experiments conducted in the study a comparison between quantum teleportation, quantum entanglement swapping and CNOT gates is made for qubit transmission in a quantum network.

Quantum Information Transmission Using CNOT Gate

Ankit Sharma, Manisha J. Nene

We are at the dawn of quantum era; research efforts are been made on quantum information transmission techniques. Properties of quantum mechanics poses unique challenges in terms of wave collapse function, No cloning theorem and reversible operations. Quantum teleportation and quantum entanglement swapping based architecture are utilized to transmit qubit. In this paper we propose an approach to transmit qubits using controlled NOT gate (CNOT) gates and implement it on quantum machine.

Evolution of Quantum Teleportation Circuits with Improved Genetic Algorithm

Swanti Satsangi, C. Patvardhan

Quantum Teleportation is the process of transmitting Quantum information from one place to another by performing Quantum mechanical operations like entanglement, Bell measurement and classical communication.Unlike the commonly used term teleportation, Quantum teleportation involves only transfer of information rather than particles or objects.Quantum teleportation allows transmission of quantum information despite the impossibility of measuring or broadcasting the information to be transmitted. This paper evolves some new simpler Quantum teleportation circuits which use only Quantum entanglement and a set of Hadamard and CNOT gates.Further, each of the circuits performs teleportation even if Alice does not perform measurement on her qubits.Keeping the feasibility of physical realization in mind, circuits using only adjacent CNOT gates along with Hadamard gates have also been constructed. All these circuits have been evolved using Genetic Algorithms which has been designed with appropriate representation and search operations towards faster convergence.

Harnessing Quantum Entanglement: Comprehensive Strategies for Enhanced Communication and Beyond in Quantum Networks

Amit Kumar Bhuyan, Dutta, Hrishikesh

Quantum communication represents a revolutionary advancement over classical information theory, which leverages unique quantum mechanics properties like entanglement to achieve unprecedented capabilities in secure and efficient information transmission. Unlike bits in classical communication, quantum communication utilizes qubits in superposition states, allowing for novel information storage and processing. Entanglement, a key quantum phenomenon, enables advanced protocols with enhanced security and processing power. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of quantum communication, emphasizing the role of entanglement in theoretical foundations, practical protocols, experimental progress, and security implications. It contrasts quantum communications potential applications with classical networks, identifying areas where entanglement offers significant advantages. The paper explores the fundamentals of quantum mechanics in communication, the physical realization of quantum information, and the formation of secure quantum networks through entanglement-based strategies like Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and teleportation. It addresses the challenges of long-distance quantum communication, the role of quantum repeaters in scaling networks, and the conceptualization of interconnected quantum networks. Additionally, it discusses strides towards the Quantum Internet, Quantum Error-Correcting codes, and quantum cryptographys role in ensuring secure communication. By highlighting the role of entanglement, this paper aims to inspire further research and innovation in secure and efficient information exchange within quantum networks.

Afterward, the details of our research are presented, including the theoretical framework and the proposed methodology for realizing the quantum teleportation protocol. We provide a careful overview of the technical details, demonstrating the complexity of quantum state preparation, entanglement distribution, and Bell state measurements. Our empirical section demonstrates the practical application of these protocols, providing empirical evidence of successful teleportation of quantum states. The theoretical predictions are confirmed by the experimental results, which validate the feasibility and reliability of our approach. Conclusions drawn from the experiments emphasize the robustness of quantum teleportation as a viable technology for future quantum networks.

Abstract Quantum teleportation plays a crucial role in information science for its property of completely secure transmission. It was first demonstrated as a means of transferring the quantum state. Later, it has been extended greatly in the field of quantum computing, quantum network, and quantum communication and other fields. The first part of this paper will talk briefly about the basic theory of quantum teleportation and the applications that have been achieved in recent years in both commercial and scientific purposes. Next, the results of current experiments and the challenges that should be overcome in the future will be presented. The final section will be a discussion about the development of quantum teleportation and its future implementations.
