Photoinduced amplification of a subharmonic of light and photoelectric instability in glass

M. K. Balakirev, Liubov I. Vostrikova, Vitalii A Smirnov

Observations of new physical phenomena, a photoinduced amplification of subharmonic of light in glass and instability of preliminarily induced optical anisotropy by illumination of medium to coherent radiation, are produced. Connection between phenomena is adduced. Physical models of phenomena taking into account of coherent photovoltaic effect are offered.

Light scattering in regions of photoinduced phase transition

Iurii Gudyma, D. D. Nikirsa

Correlation function of the concentration fluctuations near threshold of bistability origin is obtained in linear approximation. Anomalous large scattering of light in this region is predicted.

Three-frequency thermal light scattering in electrolyte solutions

Nikolai F. Bunkin, V. N. Streltsov

Frequency-shifted scattering of a monochromatic electromagnetic wave is considered in the electrolyte solution upon intermediate absorption (emission) of a quantum of a longitudinal fluctuation thermal field. The spectrum of scattered emission is obtained depending on the plasma parameters of the medium.
