Abstract

The influence of the electromagnetic field on the rate of gamma pulses counting from radioactive samples after the action of the driver in the form of pulses of the electromagnetic field was observed. Controlled radionuclide is 137Cs. The sample was a sample of ordinary soil. At a certain time interval, there was an increase in the count rate, and then its decline. The magnitude of changes reached 3%. The observation lasted about one year.

On external influences on the radioactive decay rate fluctuations

Victor A. Panchelyuga, M. S. Panchelyuga, Olga Yu. Seraya

The evolution of views on the possibility of external influence on the process of radioactive decay is briefly presented. Such an effect can lead to the appearance of periods in the time series of the radioactive decay rate fluctuations, which have been the subject of intensive study in the last decade. Two mechanisms for identifying periods are considered: the study of deviations from the theoretical curve of the radioactive decay law and the study of the properties of fluctuations. It is shown that the latter method leads to a universal spectrum of periods observed not only in the time series of the radioactive decay rate fluctuations, but also in the time series of fluctuations of processes of various nature. The main object of our study are periods in the radioactive decay rate fluctuations. The presence of such periods suggests the possibility of external influence on the process of radioactive decay. Therefore, we briefly consider the evolution of views on the possibility of such an effect. To do this, we distinguish several stages. The division into stages is only partially historical, but, mainly, each stage characterizes a certain ideas that is implemented in it.

A possibility of controlled variation of radioactive decay rate of atomic nuclei

В.Л. Михеев, V. A. Morozov, Natalia V. Morozova

An attempt of changing the radioactive decay rate of atomic nuclei due to interference of wave functions of the initial nucleus and nuclei identical to radioactive decay products has been made. The first experiments have been performed with 212 Po undergoing α decay with a half-life of 0.3 μs. For 212 Po implanted into natural metallic lead, the increase in the decay rate by ∼0.2%, as compared to the decay rate of 212 Po in nickel, has been registered.

Fluctuations in radioactive decays. I. Nonequilibrium effects and noise

Roberto Boscaino, G. Concas, M. Lissia +1 more

Radioactive decay is a nonequilibrium process. For most practical purposes it can be modeled as a steady-state process, but there are instances where counting statistics should not be assumed constant; this remark is particularly relevant for long counting intervals. We give explicit formulas for the probability distribution of counts, the expected values of the mean, the variance, and the Allan variance. These formulas, rather than the Poissonian ones, should be used as benchmark for experiments aimed at revealing exotic effects. Formulas are compared to numerical simulations and actual experiments.

Explaining the Influence of the Observer on Quantum Measurements and the Influence of Sick Patients on the Doctor

Maria Kuman

The article explains for the first time the influence of the observer on quantum measurements. 1/ In one set of experiments, it was found that the lifetime of decay of radioactive elements is longer in the presence of spinning liquids or solids. This could only be explained if media between them was present, which was influenced by the spinning. 2/ In another set of experiments, it was found that the lifetime of decay of radioactive elements is longer in the presence of people. Since the Russian scientist Shkatov developed equipment allowing him to measure the spinning of the human's aura, the longer lifetime of radioactive elements in the presence of people could be explained with the influence of their spinning aura (but again the influence could only be explained with the presence of media, which was influenced by the spinning). 3/ In another set of experiments, it was found that without the presence of observer photons and electrons behaved like waves and diffraction pattern was observed when they were passing through two slits. When observer with his spinning aura was present, the photons and electrons behave like particles -diffraction was not observed but only two slits of light. This means that under the influence of observers' spinning aura the photons and electrons behave like particles, which could only be explained if there was a media influenced by the spinning aura of the observer.

Coherent influence of RF field on the gamma-optical properties of a medium upon crossing-anticrossing of nuclear levels

V. Yu. Lyubimov, E. A. Popov, В. В. Самарцев +2 more

A new approach to the observation of electromagnetic-induced transparency in gamma optics is proposed. For this purpose, the propagation of a resonant gamma photon in a 57 Fe magnetic medium affected by an external radiofrequency (RF) field is considered. It is demonstrated that, in the case of crossing-anticrossing, a resonant RF field significantly transforms gamma-optical properties of the medium that become dependent on its parameters. This allows coherent control of the group velocity of gamma photons and controlled filtering of unpolarized gamma radiation in the sample to be realized.

[Probability of disturbance of Poisson statistics in radioactive decay type processes].

A A Kirillov, K I Zenchenko

The phenomenon of regular dynamics of fine structure of sampling distributions in processes of radioactive decay type is discussed. The time dependence of the probability of their similarity indicates that the process measured is nonstationary. The most natural explanation for the disturbance of stationarity is the influence of gauging equipment, which in principle cannot be avoided completely. However, the universality of the effect and the presence of the correlation of the fine structure in independent synchronous processes leads one to suggest the existence of some global source. A mechanism of the generation of fine structure as a result of the influence of nontrivial topology of space on the decay process is proposed.
