Barut–Girardello Coherent States for Nonlinear Oscillator with Position-Dependent Mass

Abstract

Using ladder operators for the non-linear oscillator with position-dependent effective mass, realization of the dynamic group SU(1,1) is presented. Keeping in view the algebraic structure of the non-linear oscillator, coherent states are constructed using Barut–Girardello formalism and their basic properties are discussed. Furthermore, the statistical properties of these states are investigated by means of Mandel parameter and second order correlation function. Moreover,it is shown that in the harmonic limit, all the results obtained for the non-linear oscillator with spatially varying mass reduce to corresponding results of the linear oscillator with constant mass.

Photon –added Barut –Girardello coherent states for non-linear harmonic oscillator

Sodabe Rezaei, Ardeshir Rabeie

In this paper, we introduce the generalized coherent states and Photon-added coherent states in the sence of Barut-Girardello for the nonlinear harmonic oscillator with position dependent effective mass. The study of the resolution of the unity as the fundamental property of coherent states, is done in Meijer Gfunction. Also, the non-classical features of these two states are calculated and analyized by using the probability distribution function and Mandel parameter.

Supersymmetric approach to coherent states for nonlinear oscillator with spatially dependent effective mass

Martin Tchoffo, F. B. Migueu, M. Vubangsi +1 more

A nonlinear oscillator with variable mass is studied in the approach of Supersymmetric quantum mechanics. Ladder operators in association with the shape invariance condition allowed us to find the coherent states of the system in the sense of Barut and Girardello. The statistical properties of these particular states are studied using the probability of distribution. In addition, the vibrational partition function is calculated. We see that the thermodynamic functions of the system such as mean energy and entropy depend on the nonlinearity parameter, except for the specific heat.

Barut-Girardello and Gilmore-Perelomov coherent states for pseudoharmonic oscillator and their nonclassical properties: factorization method

Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly, H R Jalali

In this paper we try to introduce the ladder operators associated with the pseudoharmonic oscillator, after solving the corresponding Schrödinger equation by using the factorization method. The obtained generalized raising and lowering operators naturally lead us to the Dirac representation space of the system which is very easier to work with, in comparison to the functional Hilbert space. The SU(1,1) dynamical symmetry group associated with the considered system is exactly established through investigating the fact that the deduced operators satisfy appropriate commutation relations. This result enables us to construct two important and distinct classes of Barut-Girardello and Gilmore-Perelomov coherent states associated with the system. Finally, their identities as the most important task are exactly resolved and some of their nonclassical properties are illustrated, numerically.

PERELOMOV AND BARUT–GIRARDELLO SU(1, 1) COHERENT STATES FOR HARMONIC OSCILLATOR IN ONE-DIMENSIONAL HALF SPACE

Quanhui Liu, H. ZHUO

The Perelomov and the Barut–Girardello SU(1, 1) coherent states for harmonic oscillator in one-dimensional half space are constructed. Results show that the uncertainty products ΔxΔp for these two coherent states are bound from below [Formula: see text] that is the uncertainty for the ground state, and the mean values for position x and momentum p in classical limit go over to their classical quantities respectively. In classical limit, the uncertainty given by Perelomov coherent does not vanish, and the Barut–Girardello coherent state reveals a node structure when positioning closest to the boundary x = 0 which has not been observed in coherent states for other systems.
