Engineering Nitrogen-Vacancy Centers Near The Surface Of Diamond For Coupling To Optical Microcavities

Kai‐Mei C. Fu, Charles Santori, Paul E. Barclay +1 more

The optical properties of nitrogen-vacancy centers created nanometers from the surface of diamond are investigated. Deterministic control of the charge state is demonstrated and recent progress toward coupling single centers to cavities is presented.
