Abstract

Abstract A four-party deterministic single-qubit operation sharing scheme is proposed by using a generalized seven-qubit Brown state in a given qubit distribution as the quantum channel. Its security is confirmed via analyses. The sharing determinacy and the sharer symmetry of the scheme are identified. The experimental feasibility of the scheme is confirmed through discussions. Moreover, the scheme is compared with a competing one which utilizes the same quantum channel. It is found that the present scheme reduces the necessary operations and two-qubit unitary operation types as well as the classical communication cost. The decreases of both the necessary operation complexity and the classical communication cost eventually mean both the increase of the scheme efficiency and the decrease of the resource consumption. Consequently, the present scheme is superior to the competing one.

Analysis and construction of four-party deterministic operation sharing with a generalized seven-qubit Brown state

Siqi Zhou, Ming-Qiang Bai, Chang-Yue Zhang

In this paper, a four-party scheme is presented for remotely sharing a single-qubit operation with the help of LOCC and the generalized seven-qubit Brown state [Formula: see text]. Besides, we consider a theoretical scheme for four-party QOS by using the generalized [Formula: see text]-qubit Brown state [Formula: see text] proposed by Muralidharan and Panigrahi (Phys. Rev. Furthermore, some concrete discussions are made to study its important features, including the scheme determinacy, the sharer symmetry, the scheme security, the nowaday’s experimental feasibility as well as the intrinsic efficiency.

Four-party quantum operation sharing with 7-qubit mixing state

Zhanjun Zhang, Hao Yuan, Chuanmei Xie +1 more

In this paper, a four-party quantum operation protocol is proposed using a 7-qubit mixing state, which originates from a 7-qubit Brown state due to a 2-qubit confusion. The security, determinacy, and sharer symmetry, as well as the experiment feasibility of the present protocol, are analyzed and discussed. Notably, the protocol is secure, a quantum operation can be shared by the sharer entity so that it can be successfully executed on a remote target qubit on one sharer’s side, two of the three sharers are symmetric as the reconstruction of the conceivable state is concerned, and the protocol is experimentally feasible in terms of the current technique. The present protocol is concisely compared with four 4-party quantum operation protocols, which are different from the employed quantum channel or the qubit distribution. The present protocol is the first to utilize the entangled mixing state as the quantum channel.

Efficient tripartite scheme of remotely sharing single-qubit operation with five-qubit Brown state

Hao Yuan, Gang Zhang, Min Kong +1 more

A tripartite operation sharing scheme is put forward by employing a five-qubit entangled state [proposed by Brown et al., J. Phys. A 38, 1119 (2005)] as quantum channel. Its sharer asymmetry and its success determinacy are both identified. Moreover, its security is ensured via analyses. In terms of current techniques, its experimental feasibility is discussed and thus confirmed. Furthermore, its comparison with Ye et al.’s scheme [Chin. Phys. Lett. 30, 020301 (2013)] utilizing the same quantum channel is made and shows its distinct advantage of degrading the intensity and difficulty of necessary operations.

Probabilistic Three-Party Sharing of Operation on a Remote Qubit

Chuanmei Xie, Yimin Liu, Hang Xing +1 more

A probabilistic tripartite single-qubit operation sharing scheme is put forward by utilizing a two-qubit and a three-qubit non-maximally entangled state as quantum channels. Some specific comparisons between our scheme and another probabilistic scheme are made. It is found that, if the product of the two minimal coefficients characterizing channel entanglements is greater than 3/16, our scheme is more superior than the other one. Nonetheless, the price is that more classical and quantum resources are consumed, and the operation difficulty is rather increased. Moreover, some important features of the scheme, such as its security, probability and sharer symmetry, are revealed through concrete discussions. Additionally, the experimental feasibility of our scheme is analyzed and subsequently confirmed according to the current experimental techniques.

Four-party quantum operation sharing with composite quantum channel in Bell and Yeo–Chua product state

Zhanjun Zhang, Hang Xing, Biao‐Liang Ye +1 more

A four-party single-qubit operation sharing scheme is put forward by utilizing the Bell and Yeo–Chua product state in an entanglement structure as the composite quantum channel. Four features of the scheme are discussed and confirmed, including its determinacy, symmetry, and security as well as the scheme experimental feasibility. Moreover, some concrete comparisons between our present scheme and a previous scheme [H. Xing et al., Quantum Inf. Process. 13 (2014) 1553] are made from the aspects of quantum and classical resource consumption, necessary operation complexity, and intrinsic efficiency. It is found that our present scheme is more superior than that one. In addition, the essential reason why the employed state in the entanglement structure is applicable for sharing an arbitrary single-qubit operation among four parties is revealed via deep analyses. With respect to the essential reason, the capacity of the product state in quantum operation sharing (QOS) is consequently shown by simple presenting the corresponding schemes with the state in other entanglement structures.
