Abstract

Abstract: Quantum computer is an emerging technology. The quantum computer is based on quantum physics, as like the quantum particles. The normal computers work on two states 0 and 1 but this quantum computers work on three states 0, 1, 0 or 1. These quantum computers are used in the system where very high speed is required. But in present scenario, this computer is not developed. Keywords: Qubits, QuAIL, D-wave, quantum computers, quantum mechanics Cite this Article: Gagan Agarwal, Anushka Mangal, Alka Rani. A Detailed Review on Quantum Computing Technologies

P. Saravanamoorthi

Modern computing approaches like quantum computing are based on the remarkable occurrences of quantum mechanics. It is a combination of information theory, computer science, mathematics, and physics. The study of quantum computing includes the design and development of computer-based technologies based on quantum theory, which explains the nature and behaviour of energy and matter at atomic and sub-atomic levels. Sub-atomic particles such as electrons and photons are used in quantum computing. These particles exist in two different states (i.e., 1 and 0) based on quantum bits or qubits. Compared to conventional computers, quantum computing offers higher computing capacity, lower energy utilization, and high speed. This article reviews the state-of-the-art quantum computing technologies and different ways in which the qubits can exponentially increase the efficiency of quantum computers and sort various possibilities and identify potential solutions to different challenges.

Abstract: Quantum computing is a modern calculation method that is based on the science of quantum mechanics. These phenomena include the bizarre behavior of particles at the atomic and subatomic levels, and the way that these particles can be in multiple states simultaneously. The field of computer science is a great mix of physics, math, and information theory. This technology provides high computing power, low power consumption, and exponential speed by controlling the behavior of small physical objects, such as atoms. Atoms, electrons, photons, etc. are all elements of the physical world. We would like to introduce the basics of quantum computing, and some of the ideas behind it. This article begins with the origins of the classical computer and discusses all the improvements and transformations that have been made due to its limitations thus far, then moves on to the basic operations of quantum computing and results in quantum properties such as superposition, entanglement, and interference.

Quantum Computing: Principles, Applications and Future Scope

Narendhiran R, Dharani prasath.R, Mrs. K. Gowri

ABSTRACT Quantum computing represents a fundamental shift in the way computational problems are approached and solved. Unlike classical computing systems that rely on binary bits to process information, quantum computing utilizes quantum bits, or qubits, which exploit principles of quantum mechanics such as superposition and entanglement. This transition from classical bits to qubits has opened new possibilities for solving complex problems that are computationally infeasible for traditional systems. This paper explores the evolution of computing paradigms from classical architectures to quantum-based models, highlighting the theoretical foundations and technological advancements that have driven this transformation. It discusses the core concepts of quantum computing, including qubit representation, quantum gates, and computational models, along with an overview of current quantum hardware architectures. Furthermore, the paper examines key application areas such as cryptography, optimization, artificial intelligence, and scientific simulations, where quantum computing demonstrates significant potential. Despite its promise, quantum computing faces substantial challenges related to hardware stability, error correction, scalability, and resource requirements, which are also analyzed. Finally, the paper outlines future research directions and the potential impact of quantum computing on next-generation information processing systems, emphasizing its role in redefining the boundaries of modern computation. Quantum Computing Memoir: Quantum Mechanics, Architectural Developments and its Future

Abhay Patil

Abstract: Quantum computing is a cutting edge method of computing that depends on the study of quantum mechanics and its staggering marvels. It is an excellent blend of physical science, arithmetic, computer science and data hypothesis. It gives high computational force, less energy utilization and remarkable speed over old-style computers by controlling the conduct of little actual articles for example minuscule particles like iotas, electrons, photons, and so forth Here, we present a prologue to the crucial ideas and a few thoughts of quantum computing. To comprehend the true abilities and difficulties of a pragmatic quantum computer that can be dispatched financially, the paper covers the engineering, equipment, programming, plan, types and calculations that are explicitly needed by quantum computers. It reveals the ability of quantum computers that can affect our lives in different perspectives like network safety, traffic enhancement, medications, man-made reasoning and some more. Limited scope quantum computers are being grown as of late. This improvement is going towards an incredible future because of their high possible abilities and headways in continuous exploration. Prior to zeroing in on the meanings of a broadly useful quantum computer and investigating the force of the new emerging innovation, it is smarter to survey the beginning, possibilities, and restrictions of the current conventional computing. This data helps us in understanding the potential difficulties in creating outlandish and serious innovation. It will likewise give us an understanding of the continuous advancement in this field. The landscape of academic literature in quantum technologies

Zeki Can Seskir, Arsev Umur Aydınoğlu

In this study, we investigated the academic literature on quantum technologies (QT) using bibliometric tools. We used a set of 49,823 articles obtained from the Web of Science (WoS) database using a search query constructed through expert opinion. Analysis of this revealed that QT is deeply rooted in physics, and the majority of the articles are published in physics journals. Keyword analysis revealed that the literature could be clustered into three distinct sets, which are (i) quantum communication/cryptography, (ii) quantum computation, and (iii) physical realizations of quantum systems. We performed a burst analysis that showed the emergence and fading away of certain key concepts in the literature. This is followed by co-citation analysis on the “highly cited” articles provided by the WoS, using these we devised a set of core corpus of 34 publications. Comparing the most highly cited articles in this set with respect to the initial set we found that there is a clear difference in most cited subjects. Finally, we performed co-citation analyses on country and organization levels to find the central nodes in the literature. Overall, the analyses of the datasets allowed us to cluster the literature into three distinct sets, construct the core corpus of the academic literature in QT, and to identify the key players on country and organization levels, thus offering insight into the current state of the field. Search queries and access to figures are provided in the appendix.
