Abstract

According to the continuum bipartite entangled state representation |η> we derive the Schmidt decomposition of |η>, respectively in the coordinate representation, momentum representation and the particle number representation, and explain their physical significances. As the applications of the Schmidt decomposition, we directly derive the action of the single-mode squeeze operator on |η>, the two-mode squeeze operator's entangled state representation, as well as the matrix element of displacement operator in the Fock space. Generalization of our discussion in this paper to the multipartite entangled state cases is feasible.

Continuous Multipartite Entangled Representation and Its Wigner Operator and Marginal Distribution

Yuan, Hong-Chun, LI . +3 more

By extending the EPR bipartite entanglement to multipartite case, we briefly introduce a continuous multipartite entangled representation and its canonical conjugate state in the multi-mode Fock space, analyze their Schmidt decompositions and give their entangling operators. Furthermore, based on the above analysis we also find the n-mode Wigner operator. In doing so we may identify the physical meaning of the marginal distribution of the Wigner function.

Quantum Hadamard Operators and Their Decomposition Derived by Virtue of IWOP Technique

Fan Hong-Yi, Qin Guo

We introduce the quantum Hadamard operator in continuum state vector space and find that it can be decomposed into a single-mode squeezing operator and a position-momentum mutual transform operator. The two-mode Hadamard operator in bipartite entangled state representation is also introduced, which involves the two-mode squeezing operator and |η⟩ ↔ ξ⟩ mutual transformation operator, where |η⟩ and ξ⟩ are mutual conjugate entangled states. All the discussions are proceeded by virtue of the IWOP technique.

Bipartite entangled state |$\zeta$$\rangle$ and its applications in quantum communication

Hong-Yi Fan, Mingzhai Sun

We analyse the entanglement involved in the common eigenvector | ζ ⟩ of the centre-of-mass coordinate and mass-weighted relative momentum of two particles. Its Schmidt decomposition exhibits that the | ζ ⟩ state maximally entangles two single-mode coordinate (or momentum) eigenstates, of which one is squeezed. The squeezing parameter is related to the ratio of the masses of two particles. The | ζ ⟩ state may describe the entangled state produced by a non-50/50 beamsplitter. Its applications in entanglement swapping and quantum dense coding are discussed. The corresponding entangling operators and swapping operators are derived.

Multi-mode Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen Entangled State Representation and Its Applications

Heng-Mei Li, Yuan Hong-Chun

Our primary purpose of this work is to explicitly construct the general multipartite Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) entangled state in multi-mode Fock space for a system with different masses of particles, which makes up a new quantum mechanical representation owing to completeness relation and orthogonal property. Its entanglement can be seen more clearly by analyzing its standard Schmidt decomposition. In addition, some applications of the multipartite entanglement are proposed including deriving the generalized Wigner operator and squeezing operator.

TRIPARTITE ENTANGLED STATE REPRESENTATION AND ITS APPLICATION IN QUANTUM TELEPORTATION

Hong-Yi Fan, Nian-Quan Jiang, Lu Hai-Liang

We set up a tripartite entangled state representation |p, χ2, χ3> in three-mode Fock space which is composed of the common eigenvectors of three particles' relative coordinates X1 - X2 and X1 - X3 as well as the total momentum P1 + P2 + P3. The Schmidt decomposition of |p, χ2, χ3 > is made and its application in quantum teleporting a two-particle entangled state or a two-mode squeezed state is analyzed.
