Abstract

In the present paper we investigated the dynamics of two dipole-coupled superconducting qubits prepared in an entangled state and interacting with two modes of the vacuum electromagnetic fields of two independent resonators. It is shown that the dipole-dipole interaction of qubits is an effective mechanism for the stabilization of qubits entanglement.

The influence of dipole-dipole interaction on entanglement of two superconducting qubits in the framework of double Jaynes-Cummins model

In this paper we investigated the entanglement dynamics between two superconducting qubits interacting with two microwave modes of independent coplanar cavities taking into account the direct dipole-dipole interaction. The model with different qubit-field couplings and detunings is under consideration. Using the dressed-states representation technique we derived the exact solution for considered model with qubits prepared initially in entangled states and vacuum field modes. We have carried out the dependence of the atom-atom entanglement on the strength of the dipole-dipole interaction and other parameters of the considered system such as different coupling constants and detunings. The results showed that the presence of a sufficiently large dipole-dipole interaction leads to stabilization of entanglement.

Abstract In this paper, we have investigated the entanglement dynamics between two dipole-coupled superconducting qubits not resonantly interacting with two microwave modes of independent coplanar resonators. The case of different atom-field couplings has been under consideration. Using the dressed-states technique we have derived the exact solution of the evolution equation for separable initial qubits states and field modes in the vacuum states. On its basis the negativity as a measure of qubit-qubit entanglement has been calculated. The time dependence of negativity for different values of detuning between the qubits and fields frequencies, atom-field couplings and strength of the dipole-dipole interaction has been investigated for different separable initial qubits states.

We have investigated the entanglement dynamics between two initially entangled superconducting qubits interacting with vacuum fields of one or two independent coplanar 1D resonators. Three types of two-qubits generalized Jaynes-Cummings models with different atom-field coupling constants and detunings and direct dipole-dipole interaction has been considered. Using the dressed-states technique we have derived the exact solutions for models under consideration. The computer modeling of the time dependence of qubit-qubit entanglement (negativity) has been carried out for different strength of the dipole-dipole interaction. Results show that dipole-dipole interaction may be used for entanglement control.

Entanglement of two dipole-coupled qubits induced by a detuned thermal field

Eugene K. Bashkirov

In this paper we have investigated the dynamics of entanglement of two identical qubits non-resonantly interacting with one mode of a vacuum or a thermal electromagnetic field in lossless cavity in the presence of a direct dipole-dipole interaction. Based on the exact solution to the equation used in this analysis, the Peres-Horodecki entanglement parameter (negativity) for qubits has been found. Numerical simulation of the negativity for various model parameters has been carried out. It has been shown that the interactions of qubits with a thermal field in a cavity can lead to their entanglement. It has been established that the detuning and dipole-dipole interaction of qubits can be used to manipulate and control the amount of atomic entanglement.

Dynamics of atomic entanglement induced by field

Eugene K. Bashkirov, Michail S. Mastyugin

The entanglement of two dipole-coupled superconducting flux qubits with degenerate and nondegenerate twophoton transitions interacting with one-mode or two-mode field in lossless cavity has been investigated. The influence of dipole-dipole interaction on the entanglement between two qubits for different initial atom-field entangled states has been considered. The results show that the entanglement between two artificial atoms can be increased by means of dipole-dipole interaction and for some initial states the entanglement sudden death effect can be weakened.
