Abstract

We investigate the effects of inhomogeneous magnetic field and magnetic impurity on the quantum correlation in spin-1 system by means of negativity and measurement-induced disturbance. Results show that the increase of the inhomogeneous magnetic field not only decreases entanglement, but also can induce the entanglement, and increases the value of critical nonlinear coupling Kc. The critical magnetic field for measurement-induced disturbance is higher than that for negativity, and the measurement-induced disturbance (MID) will not disappear with the decrease of nonlinear coupling |K|, so it can reveal all the properties of quantum correlation. Results also show that the effects of different magnetic impurity on MID are independent of each other. Under the magnetic impurity, the entanglement exists only if the couplings |J| are less than the nonlinear couplings |K|, while there will be the MID when the couplings |J| are greater than the nonlinear couplings |K|. It is just the minimum point for MID when |J| equals to |K|. Moreover, the size of the Chain will influence the quantum correlation also.

Effects of Nonlinear Couplings on Entanglement in a Two-Qutrit HeisenbergXXXChain under an Inhomogeneous Magnetic Field

Meng Qin, Xing Ge, Xiao-Yue Zhai +2 more

This paper investigates the entanglement of a two-qutrit Heisenberg XXX chain with nonlinear couplings under an inhomogeneous magnetic field. By the concept of negativity, we find that the critical temperature increases with the increase of inhomogeneous magnetic field b. Our study indicates that for any |K| > |J|, or |K| < |J| entanglement always exists for certain regions. We also find that at the critical point, the entanglement becomes a nonanalytic function of B and a quantum phase transition occurs.

Bipartite entanglement of a two-qubit system with anisotropic couplings under nonuniform magnetic fields

Qin Meng, Tian Dong-Ping

This paper investigates bipartite entanglement of a two-qubit system with anisotropic couplings under an inhomogeneous magnetic field. This work is mainly to investigate the characteristics of a Heisenberg XYZ chain and obtains some meaningful results. By the concept of negativity, it finds that the inhomogeneity of magnetic field may induce entanglement and the critical magnetic field is independent of J z . The inhomogeneous magnetic field can increase the value of critical magnetic field B c . It also finds that the magnetic field not only suppresses the entanglement but also can induce it to revival for some time.

Effects of Different Spin-Spin Couplings and Magnetic Fields on Thermal Entanglement in Heisenberg XYZ Chain

Da-Chuang Li, Zhuo‐Liang Cao

The effects of spin-spin interaction on thermal entanglement of a two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ model with different inhomogeneous magnetic fields are investigated. It is shown that the entanglement is dependent on the spin-spin interaction and the inhomogeneous magnetic fields. The larger the J i (i-axis spin-spin interaction), the higher critical value the B i (i-axis uniform magnetic field) has. Moreover, in the weak-field regime, the larger J i corresponds to more entanglement, while in the strong-field regime, different J i correspond to the same entanglement. In addition, it is found that with the increase of J i , the concurrence can approach the maximum value more rapidly for the smaller B i , and can reach a larger value for the smaller b i (i-axis nonuniform magnetic field). So we can get more entanglement by increasing the spin-spin interaction J i , or by decreasing the uniform magnetic field B i and the nonuniform magnetic field b i .

Siping Li

The thermal entanglement of the two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ model under an inhomogeneous magnetic field by means of Negativity is studied. The thermal entanglement and the critical temperature increase when the coupling coefficient Jz increases. The critical magnetic field increases with increasing the inhomogeneous magnetic field b but the maximum entanglement value of the system becomes smaller. The Negativity decreases with increasing.

Study the Entanglement Dynamics of an Anisotropic Two-Qubit Heisenberg XYZ System in a Magnetic Field

Amena Rezk Mohammed, Tarek M. El-Shahat

We investigate the entanglement dynamics of an anisotropic two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ system with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction in the presence of both inhomogeneity of the external magnetic field b and intrinsic decoherence which has been studied. The behavior of quantum correlation and the degree of entanglement between the two subsystems is quantified by using measurement-induced disturbance (MID), negativity (N) and Quantum Discord (QD), respectively. It is shown that in the presence of an inhomogeneity external magnetic field occur the phenomena of long-lived entanglement. It is found that the initial state is the essential role in the time evolution of the entanglement.

The effect of impurity on the thermal entanglement in three-qutrit spin-1 Heisenberg XXX chain

Qin Meng, Tian Dong-Ping, Tao Ying-Juan +1 more

We investigate the impurity entanglement of 3-qutrit XXX-type Heisenberg chains in the presence of a uniform magnetic field along z axis by means of negativity. The entanglement is calculated as a function of the coupling constants J, impurity parameter J1, magnetic fields B and temperature T. Through calculating the negativity between sites 1 and (2,3) N1-23 and sites 3 and (1,2) N12-3, we show that the critical temperature Tc above which the entanglement vanishes increases with the increase of J1. The existence of magnetic fields B can obviously reduce the entanglement, and it is found that the limiting temperature Tc depends on the impurity parameter J1 but not on the magnetic field.
