Abstract

This paper investigates bipartite entanglement of a two-qubit system with anisotropic couplings under an inhomogeneous magnetic field. This work is mainly to investigate the characteristics of a Heisenberg XYZ chain and obtains some meaningful results. By the concept of negativity, it finds that the inhomogeneity of magnetic field may induce entanglement and the critical magnetic field is independent of J z . The inhomogeneous magnetic field can increase the value of critical magnetic field B c . It also finds that the magnetic field not only suppresses the entanglement but also can induce it to revival for some time.

Bipartite entanglement in a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain under an inhomogeneous magnetic field

Qin Meng, Tian Dong-Ping

This paper investigates the bipartite entanglement of a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain under an inhomogeneous magnetic field. By the concept of negativity, we find that the inhomogeneity of the magnetic field may induce entanglement and the critical magnetic field is independent of J z . We also find that the entanglement is symmetric with respect to a zero magnetic field. The anisotropy parameter J z may enhance the entanglement.

Entanglement in Anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ Chain with Inhomogeneous Magnetic Field

Yang Guo-Hui, Gao Wen-Bin, Zhou Ling +1 more

The thermal entanglement of a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chain under an inhomogeneous magnetic field b is studied. It is shown that when inhomogeneity is increased to a certain value, the entanglement can exhibit a larger revival than that of less values of b . The property is both true for zero temperature and a finite temperature. The results also show that the entanglement and threshold temperature can be increased by increasing inhomogeneous external magnetic field.

Entanglement of a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chain in nonuniform magnetic fields with intrinsic decoherence

Xu Xiao-Bo, Liu Jin-Ming, Yu Peng-Fei

Taking the intrinsic decoherence effect into account, this paper investigates the entanglement of a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ model in the presence of nonuniform external magnetic fields by employing the concurrence as entanglement measure. It is found that both the intrinsic decoherence and the anisotropy of the system give a significant suppression to the entanglement. Moreover it finds that the initial state of the system plays an important role in the time evolution of the entanglement, which means that the entanglement of the system is independent of the nonuniformity and uniformity of the magnetic field when the system is in the initial state |(0)ψ = |00〉 and | ψ′ (0)〉 = m |01〉 + n |10〉, respectively.

The Negativity of Heisenberg XXZ Model Under an Inhomogeneous Magnetic field

Siping Li

The thermal entanglement of the two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XXZ model under an inhomogeneous magnetic field by means of Negativity is studied. The thermal entanglement and the critical temperature increase when the coupling coefficient Jz increases. The critical magnetic field increases with increasing the inhomogeneous magnetic field b but the maximum entanglement value of the system becomes smaller. The Negativity decreases with increasing.

Decoherence Effect in An Anisotropic Two-Qubit Heisenberg XYZ Model with Inhomogeneous Magnetic Field

Tao Chen, Shan Chuan-Jia, Li Jin-Xing +3 more

Taking the decoherence effect into account, the entanglement evolution of a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chain in the presence of inhomogeneous magnetic field is investigated. The time evolution of concurrence is studied for the initial state cos θ |01⟩ +sin θ|10⟩ at zero temperature. The influences of inhomogeneous magnetic field, anisotropic parameter and decoherence on entanglement dynamic are addressed in detail, and a concurrence formula of the steady state is found. It is shown that the entanglement sudden death (ESD) and entanglement sudden birth (ESB) appear with the decoherence effect, and the stable concurrence depends on the uniform magnetic field B , anisotropic parameter Δ and environment coupling strength γ, which is independent of different initial states and nonuniform magnetic field b.
