Structures of q-Deformed Currents

Abstract

The non-perturbation and perturbation structures of the q-deformed probability currents are studied. According to two ways of realizing the q-deformed Heisenberg algebra by the undeformed operators, the perturbation structures of two q-deformed probability currents are explored in detail. Locally the structures of two perturbation q-deformed probability currents are different, one is explicitly potential dependent; the other is not. But their total contributions to the whole space are the same.

Perturbation Foundation of q-Deformed Dynamics

Zhang, J

In the q-deformed theory the perturbation approach can be expressed in terms of two pairs of undeformed position and momentum operators. There are two configuration spaces. Correspondingly there are two q-perturbation Hamiltonians, one originates from the perturbation expansion of the potential in one configuration space, the other one originates from the perturbation expansion of the kinetic energy in another configuration space. In order to establish a general foundation of the q-perturbation theory, two perturbation equivalence theorems are proved: (I) Equivalence theorem {\\it I}: Perturbation expressions of the q-deformed uncertainty relations calculated by two pairs of undeformed operators are the same, and the two q-deformed uncertainty relations undercut Heisenberg's minimal one in the same style. (II) The general equivalence theorem {\\it II}: for {\\it any} potential (regular or singular) the expectation values of two q-perturbation Hamiltonians in the eigenstates of the undeformed Hamiltonian are equivalent to all orders of the perturbation expansion. As an example of singular potentials the perturbation energy spectra of the q-deformed Coulomb potential are studied.

Perturbative Aspects of q-Deformed Dynamics

J.-z. Zhang, P. Osland

Within the framework of the q-deformed Heisenberg algebra a dynamical equation of q-deformed quantum mechanics is discussed. The perturbative aspects of the q-deformed Schr\\"odinger equation are analyzed. General representations of the additional momentum-dependent interaction originating from the q-deformed effects are presented in two approaches. As examples, such additional interactions related to the harmonic-oscillator potential and the Morse potential are demonstrated.

Even and Odd Q -coherent State Representations of the Q -deformed Heisenberg-Weyl Algebra

Wang Fabo, Kuang Le-Man

We construct explicitly even and odd q -coherent states. These q -coherent states are introduced in terms of the q -functions defined in the paper. It is shown that the even and odd q -coherent states form a kind of representations of the q -deformed Heisenberg-Weyl algebra which is realized in the form of matrix q -differential operators in the even and odd q -coherent state space. We also analyse some different between the even and odd q -CSs and the usual even and odd CSs.

Fermi energy in the q-deformed quantum mechanics

Won Sang Chung, HASSAN HASSANABADI

In this paper, we use the q-derivative emerging in the non-extensive statistical physics to formulate the q-deformed quantum mechanics. We find the algebraic structure related to this deformed theory and investigate some properties of the q-deformed elementary functions. Using this mathematical background, we formulate the q-deformed Heisenberg algebra and q-deformed time-dependent Schrödinger equation. As an example, we deal with the infinite potential well and compute the Fermi energy in the q-deformed theory.

Non-relativistic Schroedinger theory on q-deformed quantum spaces II, The free non-relativistic particle and its interactions

Hartmut Wachter

This is the second part of a paper about a q-deformed analog of non-relativistic Schroedinger theory. It applies the general ideas of part I and tries to give a description of one-particle states on q-deformed quantum spaces like the braided line or the q-deformed Euclidean space in three dimensions. Hamiltonian operators for the free q-deformed particle in one as well as three dimensions are introduced. Plane waves as solutions to the corresponding Schroedinger equations are considered. Their completeness and orthonormality relations are written down. Expectation values of position and momentum observables are taken with respect to one-particle states and their time-dependence is discussed. A potential is added to the free-particle Hamiltonians and q-analogs of the Ehrenfest theorem are derived from the Heisenberg equations of motion. The conservation of probability is proved.
