Abstract

We present a protocol for remote preparation of an arbitrary two-qudit state by using a four-qudit [Formula: see text]-type state as the quantum channel via positive operator-valued measurement. We first propose the protocol for remote preparation of an arbitrary two-qudit state via positive operator-valued measurement in noiseless environment and then discuss the protocol in noisy environments. Four important quantum decoherence noise models, the dephasing noise, the qudit-flip noise, the qudit-phase-flip noise and the depolarizing noise, are considered in our protocol. The output states and the fidelities of remote state preparation in four different types of quantum noises are presented. It is shown the protocol for remote state preparation via positive operator-valued measurement with [Formula: see text]-type state has the advantage of transmitting less particles for remote preparing an arbitrary two-qudit state. The fidelities of remote state preparation depend on the coefficients of original two-qudit state and the decoherence rates of the noise models.

Effect of noise on remote preparation of an arbitrary single‐qubit state

Ping Zhou, Li Lv, Liang Ming He

The effect of noise on the transmission of quantum state has attached much interest recently. Here we investigate the effect of different types of quantum noise on deterministic exact remote preparation of an arbitrary single-qubit state. Four types of noise which usually encountered in application of quantum remote state preparation, including bit-flipping, phase-flipping, depolarizing and amplitude damping, are considered. The average fidelities of remote state preparation for any combinations of noise are calculated. It is shown that more fidelity can be achieved via less entanglement in single-qubit remote preparation when part or all of the entangled qubits are subjected to amplitude damping noise. It is shown that in several situations more noise may leading to more fidelity in remote state preparation. Moreover, we discuss the effect of noise on probabilistic remote state preparation.

Deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary two-qubit state in the presence of noise

Zhongfang Chen, Jin‐Ming Liu, Лей Ма

Using two tripartite Greenberger—Horne—Zeilinger (GHZ) states as the shared channels, we investigate the noise effects on the deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary two-qubit state. By unitary matrix decomposition procedure, we first construct the quantum logic circuit of the deterministic joint remote state preparation protocol. Then, we analytically derive the fidelity and the average fidelity for the deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary two-qubit state and of four types of special two-qubit states under the influence of the Pauli noises. It is found that the fidelity depends on the noise types, the qubit-environment coupling strength, and the state to be remotely prepared. Moreover, even if the two GHZ channels are subject to the same environmental noises, the average fidelities for remotely preparing different two-qubit states display different time evolution behaviors. The remote preparation of the identical two-qubit states also shows that the average fidelities affected by different noisy environments exhibit different evolution actions.

Remote Preparation of Arbitrary Two-Particle Quantum State in Noisy Environments

Qingping Zhou, Yanliang Zhang, Fang Zhou +2 more

A scheme is proposed for the remote preparation of an arbitrary two-particle quantum state by using two nonmaximally entangled states as the quantum channel. The effects of the environment noise on the quantum channels are considered, in which the time-evolution is ruled by the master equations of the density matrices in the Lindblad form. We investigated the influence of environment noise on the fidelities of the remote state preparation based on three types of quantum channels. It is found that the output state of remote state preparation, as time goes on, has a higher fidelity in the case of the quantum channel consists of |01) and |10) basis than that of |00) and |11) basis. Furthermore, the results also demonstrate that the fidelity is proportional to the product of both situations above when the quantum channel consists of the mixture basis, and its value is between of them.

Joint remote preparation of an arbitrarym-qudit state with a pure entangled quantum channel via positive operator-valued measurement

Ping Zhou

We present a general scheme for multiparty joint remote preparation of an arbitrary m -qudit state with a pure entangled quantum channel via positive operator-valued measurement (POVM). The n senders share the information of the prepared state. The first sender performs POVM on his particles according to his knowledge of the original state, the other n − 1 senders perform m -particle projective measurement and the receiver can probabilistically reconstruct the original state by performing unitary operations on his particles according to the senders' measurement results. The scheme has the advantage of having high success probability for multiparty joint remote preparation of an arbitrary m -qudit state via pure entangled quantum states. Moreover, it discusses the relationship between the coefficients of the pure entangled states and the success probability.

Joint multi-party remote preparation of arbitrary qudit states via a d-level six-qudit Cluster state

Li Lv, Xuehong Cui, Liang-Ming He +1 more

We propose two protocols for joint, multi-party remote preparation of qudit states by using a d-level six-qudit Cluster state as the quantum channel. The first protocol is used for the joint remote preparation of an arbitrary two-qudit state via the d-level six-qudit Cluster state. The second is used for bi-directional joint remote preparation of an arbitrary single-qudit state via a d-level six-qudit Cluster state. All senders share information about the prepared state. The first sender applies Positive Operator-Valued Measurement (POVM) on her entangled particles in accordance with her information about the prepared state, while the second sender performs projective measurements in accordance with the information about the prepared state and the first sender’s measurement results. The receiver can prepare the original state by performing a corresponding unitary operation according to the measurement results from all the senders. These two protocols have the advantage of being able to provide a high channel capacity by using a d-level Cluster state as the quantum channel.

Effect of Quantum Noise on Deterministic Remote Preparation of an Arbitrary Two-Qubit State With a Relay Node

Ying-jia Qian, Zhihang Xu, Shibei Xue +1 more

We propose a scheme for deterministic remote preparation of an arbitrary two-qubit state via a relay node. Afterwards, we investigate how the scheme is influenced by the noise type, the initial state to be remotely prepared, and the decoherence rate. We find that the fidelity is symmetrical with the line (λb-f=λp-f=0.5) in bit-flip and phase-flip channels. In addition, the fidelity decreases with the increase of decoherence rate in the amplitude-damping and phase-damping channels. We also compare it with other RSP schemes. Since only Bell pairs work as the quantum channels, it makes our RSP scheme more available and feasible.
