Abstract

We explore two open cavity-qubit systems linked via an optical fiber. The generation of non-local correlations (NLCs) between the two qubits, via skew-information and Bell-function, are investigated under the effects of the physical parameters of the initial state and the interaction couplings of the cavity-qubit and the cavity-fiber and the environment. It is found that the robustness and the generation of the NLCs depend on the physical parameters. Under the condition that the cavity-qubit couplings is much smaller than the cavity-fiber coupling, the regularity of the growth and the oscillations of the NLCs are enhanced and are more robust.

Generation and robustness of bipartite non-classical correlations in two nonlinear microcavities coupled by an optical fiber

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

We explore the bipartite non-classical correlations of two quantum wells coupled to two spatially separated microcavities. The microcavities are filled by linear optical media and linked by a single-mode optical fiber. We prove that it is possible to generate a correlation from the initially uncorrelated state. With particular coupling constants of the cavity-exciton and the fiber-cavity coupling, the maximum correlations can be generated periodically, and sudden changes occur only in the local quantum uncertainty. The optical susceptibility and coupling constants control the regularity, amplitudes, and frequencies of the correlation functions. When the system initially starts with a maximally correlated state, we show that the correlation robustness of the Wigner-Yanase skew information and Bell’s inequality depends not only on the coupling strengths and optical susceptibility but also on the dissipation rates. Deterioration of the correlations is substantially associated with the dissipation.

Nonclassical Effects Based on Husimi Distributions in Two Open Cavities Linked by an Optical Waveguide

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

Nonclassical effects are investigated in a system formed by two quantum wells, each of which is inside an open cavity. The cavities are spatially separated, linked by a fiber, and filled with a linear optical medium. Based on Husimi distributions (HDs) and Wehrl entropy, we explore the effects of the physical parameters on the generation and the robustness of the mixedness and HD information in the phase space. The generated quantum coherence and the HD information depend crucially on the cavity-exciton and fiber cavity couplings as well as on the optical medium density. The HD information and purity are lost due to the dissipation. This loss may be inhibited by increasing the optical susceptibility as well as the couplings of the exciton-cavity and the fiber-cavity. These parameters control the regularity, amplitudes, and frequencies of the generated mixedness.

Non-classical correlations beyond Bell’s inequality violation in qubit-pairs with an intrinsic noise

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

In this paper, we analytically explore two qubits interacting with a coherent harmonic oscillator field under intrinsic noise. The interaction of the uncorrelated two qubits with a harmonic oscillator initially in the superposition of coherent states leads to the generation of nonclassical correlations (NCCs). The NCCs are quantified by local quantum uncertainty (LQU), uncertainty-induced non-locality (UIN), concurrence and Bell’s inequality. It is found that the generated NCCs are enhanced via the intensity coherence and the parameters of the initial harmonic oscillator state. For the even coherent state, the generated NCCs are more robust against the influence of intrinsic noise rate than that the ones of the coherent state. The appearance of the special type of skew-information correlation (in which, LQU and UIN are equal) depends on the superposition of the coherent states. The phenomena of sudden death and birth of entanglement depend not only on the intrinsic noise rate but also on the initial harmonic oscillator field. The generated NCCs could be controlled by adjusting these parameters.

Quantum Correlation via Skew Information and Bell Function Beyond Entanglement in a Two-Qubit Heisenberg XYZ Model: Effect of the Phase Damping

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Ahmed Farouk, Mansour F. Yassen +1 more

In this paper, we analyze the dynamics of non-local correlations (NLCs) in an anisotropic two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ model under the effect of the phase damping. An analytical solution is obtained by applying a method based on the eigenstates and the eigenvalues of the Hamiltonian. It is observed that the generated NLCs are controlled by the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction, the purity indicator, the interaction with the environment, and the anisotropy. Furthermore, it is found that the quantum correlations, as well as the sudden death and sudden birth phenomena, depend on the considered physical parameters. In particular, the system presents a special correlation: the skew-information correlation. The log-negativity and the uncertainty-induced non-locality exhibit the sudden-change behavior. The purity of the initial states plays a crucial role on the generated nonlocal correlations. These correlations are sensitive to the DM interaction, anisotropy, and phase damping.

Non-locality Correlation in Two Driven Qubits Inside an Open Coherent Cavity: Trace Norm Distance and Maximum Bell Function

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch, C. H. Raymond Ooi

We analytically investigate two separated qubits inside an open cavity field. The cavity is initially prepared in a superposition coherent state. The non-locality correlations [including trace norm measurement induced non-locality, maximal Bell-correlation, and concurrence entanglement] of the two qubits are explored. It is shown that, the generated non-locality correlations crucially depend on the decay and the initial coherence intensity of the cavity field. The enhancement of the initial coherence intensity and its superposition leads to increasing the generated non-locality correlations. The phenomena of sudden birth and death entanglement are found.

Distribution dynamics of fisher and Wigner–Yanase information correlations of two qubits coupled to an open superconducting cavity

F. M. Aldosari, Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Atta Ur Rahman +1 more

In this paper, we explore distribution dynamics of two-qubit Fisher and skew information correlations of a dissipative microwave cavity field interacting with two charged superconducting qubits. Besides the negativity function, non-classical correlations beyond entanglement are studied using local quantum Fisher information (LQFI) and local quantum uncertainty (LQU). We find that the two-qubit non-classical correlations are sensitive to qubit–qubit distribution angle, two-qubit dissipation parameter, and initial coherent state intensity. The phenomena of frozen quantum correlations, sudden death or birth, as well as revival dynamical maps are feasible in the current two-qubit state when exposed to a microwave cavity. The non-classical correlations and entanglement have been found damped under the two-qubit dissipation appearance in the field. For the increasing strength of coherence intensity of the field, the two-qubit non-classical correlations functions remain to emerge quickly and oscillate with higher frequency, although with the least amplitudes. Interestingly, unlike the non-classical correlations, negativity does not emerge against higher coherence strengths of the cavity and remains completely zero. Finally, for the least dissipation and higher coherence strength, one can readily generate non-classical two-qubit states employing a microwave cavity.
